Beautiful kitties...love the one in the mirror as well, maybe it's because it looks like she's strutting her stuff..
Snowing out, was glad to get home and already spaghetti's on, made the sauce last night, 3 containers in the freezer, lordy it's nice to have the extra space then into the craft room looking for my patterns .. found one, now to find a similar color glass Crissy and am thinking if I'm smart enought to cut the pieces, put them on plain glass and fuse them, that way Tiga could be someone 3D...gooing to think on that..
Watching the stove so I don't burn din/din but will take a photo of the pattern and perhaps later a few pieces of glass so you can pick one....
Barb your Tigger looks as thought your furry was a big kitty! You say 'was' ... how many years have you been without Tiga...
Barb got to tell you, I stopped into the little quilt shop in Craighurst for some flannel that I needed and she had the most gorgeous quilt hangings..one a lion, the other a wolf and the other an eagle..got her to order the eagle pattern for me...then she had the loveliest Christmas quilt, done in 12 panels-width wise , you register and do 1 width a month and because I cannot go during the day she told me to come any Saturday or Sunday throughout each month and I could get my package and instructions and even stay and work if I wish...soooo going to do that, can't this weekend but will next weekend..can even bring some of my Christmas materials with me..talk about excited..know you'll all want to do one...
Best/Worse/What did I learn/chat about our day!Just Gab'n
Oh wow Betty that would be neat! Tiga used the mirror to look at me and Dave, was the cutest thing I have ever seen! That sounds good Betty, I'll be looking forward to the pics. Oooo that is exciting Betty!
Just dropped to say Hello and wish everyone sweet dreams!
I'm very tired and hot right at the moment. It's work getting Tubby up and out of the recliner. I'm gonna have to raise it up or get a lift chair. He decided to be stubborn tonight so things weren't going so great. He didn't get much for supper, but maybe tomorrow will be brighter for all.
The GD and I cleaned today. We'll hang curtains tomorrow and finish up downstairs. I guess I don't have the stamina right now. We have to go change sheets and take showers and then we can go to sleep. I have to finish filling out an application for assistance to help pay for this Zyvox he needs to take. With the insurance the co=pay is $1,914.00 for a month. No way can the average person afford that. I'll fax it off tomorrow so it's there by opening Monday morning. I could have had it done if I knew I had to do it after the first time. Oh well, live and learn..
The girls wanted to come out tomorrow, but my brother & wife are coming to spend the week end and they smoke and the girls don't want people to smoke around their kids so they will have to wait till later and come some other time. Hell trying to keep everyone happy. If it was summer time it would be different, but I won't ask others to go outside in the winter. I just go to the family room.
Okay that's enough of my belly aching for the night. Guess, I just needed to get my frustrations out some how.
Crissy those are darling pictures of Tiga, and making a scrapbook of her will fun and enjoyable.
Barb, that's a neat picture of Tigger. She was a beauty also.
Betty, you are always finding something to do. Is your brother coming to work on your room this week end?
Good night, check in tomorrow.
Shirley
Hello To All;
Shirley I wish I could be the "Fly on the wall" when you have your talks with Granddaughter.... How wonderful that she is able to help out... and how wonderful she must feel to know that you all need her to help... Good on all sides....
I can't imagine a medicine that costs that much... a good lesson for me... I keep thinking all I need for retirement is to pay off the house... can't imagine costs past that... but there you all are trying to pay for those...
Crissy - I agree with sis Debbie... LOVE the kitty in the mirror... that is a very special picture... My last pup I had would sit at my feet while I was at the computer... Belle used to do that but got too big... she only does that seldom now...
OhThunder... I just can't figure out DS 19.... Thank you for telling me "It gets better"... I just worry I am going to have a "Failure to Launch" child... or worse.....
Barb - Tigger is GORGEOUS ! As was Tiga... Love the "behind the name" info... that was very special... Crissy.. you are SUCH a strong person... DH and I watched a show on TV tonight... they have an actor act rude in a restaurant and see what the peoples reactions were..... I thought about you... that YOU would be one of those people that would stand up for the waitress the actor was being rude for.....
It's your personality... I would probably shrink down and hope someone stood up for her...... Not our Crissy !
Missing My sisters.. Debbie & Judy.... I'll be on tomorrow doing laundry and cleaning house all day.... so PLEASE let us know what is up !
(((HUGS))) Laura - RE: Jasmine... I wish I had planted something near Opie..... Lost the best dog ever..... May 2007.......may still plant something.....
Susan , Dianne... Missing ya'll as well...
Okay - going nite nite....
Mary
Morning to you all, last time we spoke I was going to post a pattern wasn't I? ooops feel asleep on the chesterfield.
Bitter cold outside, would have been a good day to stay inside and play but car needs to be at dealership for 8am so no can do..promised to take Noah to a movie tonight and Darlene asked that I call her when I get back from the dealership so that should all but look after today!
Shirley, it was meant to be, your grandaughter needing you and you needing her at the very same time..so glad you are not alone, not feeling well and Tubby needing extra care..give her a hug for us will you! OMG can't imagine having to pay for those types of meds..here when you are on old age security the majority of drugs are covered..yikes, how on earth do people survive on a daily basis having to pay even a 1/4 of it???
The worry of that alone would get to me.
Mary, imagine that Belle is quite the size, they sure don't stay 'puppies' long now do they. Work all week and have a zillion chores to do at home as well but that's ok soon you'll have the MardiGras to get your spirits up..did any of the 'hibbiscus' freeze the other night?
Crissy, you probably can't see a whole lot of the kitty in this tracing but he's there..
Betty which movie are you taking Noah to?
Shirley so glad your GD is there.
Coffee is on and the high today is 38.
Goodmorning to all.
Supposed to be 76 today, and 80 tomorrow.
Shirley maybe I will make a scrapbook, not really into that but it would keep my mind busy. Dave's been outside gardening for awhile now and I've been separating seeds to mail to a friend, he just reminded me that we HAVE to keep our minds busy!
I have slews more of pics of her, but it's going to take awhile to go through them all LOL
Mary we watch that show all the time! It's called, "What Would You Do?" and it's a derivative of Dateline.
Betty I can see the cat big time, that is Wonderful!!! I love it!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Betty when I saw the SG pattern for the cat it reminded me that I think it was Carolyn Kyle had a pattern with a cat poised beside a vase full of tulips. Do you know the one I mean?
Good afternoon everyone,
I've been sewing all day and just said enough is enough for one day. There is Men's Championship skating on TV this afternoon at three so I can play for a while.
Crissy, you are going to have some wonderful treasures to remind you of your Tiga.
Shirley, I'm so glad your GD is there too. It's really hard to take care of someone else when we don't feel well.
Mary, how is the weekend going? Peaceful and no teen angst I hope.
Dianne, it's great to see you post. Do you do SG too?
Laura - how are you doing today? Sewing?
Betty sounds like you are going to be really busy. I love the classes at my quilt shop and I know you will too. I can't wait to see the pattern of the eagle. That is Norm's favorite. Perhaps you could tell me the name of the designer and I could look on-line for it ..
Did I tell you that I got my tree skirt pattern? It finally came just after I put the Christmas fabrics downstairs. I'm going to save that for next fall. I went to a mystery quilt day at the the quilt shop last fall and we made a bit of a quilt and were to do the rest at home. I got busy with those kitty quilts for the graddaughters and put it aside. I pulled it out this morning and that's what I'm working on now. I have made a committment to myself to do these projects that have been started and then do the projects I've bought fabric for and haven't done yet!!!! And then there is the occasional block for one thing or another thrown in for good measure....
Must go get a snack to have while the skating is on. Be back later......
You know Dianne, think I might have that pattern, when I come in tonight might just look for it..keep forgetting SG is one of your interests as well, we have so many in common...
Got my vehicle repaired and was home by 10am, Darlene was anxious to do jewelery so she was here before me..as it happened I had put a different little desk in the craft room to accommodate the coffee maker and the microwave, had bought shelving and wanted to fix so my sewing machine, serger, accuquilt would have a place to live, so we only did a few pieces of jewelery and got that done.
Then June dropped in, had a bag of those lovely lace scarves she's been making, think I showed you all one or two I had also done..she wanted to pick out some glass to make a pendant and earings to go with them, she's doing a craft show in two weeks so told her to come and make some a few evenings that I'm home..she won't touch the kiln even though I've shown them all what to do..
Green Hornet - 3d is playing, Noah kept hee'ing and haw'ing about which movie to see so finally I pick this one ONLY because it's on at 3:55 and then we'll have supper out and back early enough that I can either play or /or / or.....When Darlene heard I was taking Noah to the movies, she gave me a couple of movie passes..apparently Mike gets them all the time and they go to waste, sure appreciate her giving them to me.
I've finished painting a rock for the rock swap I'm in..did learn a lesson, don't paint a boulder because rocks are heavy and not cheap to ship unless I'm crossing over to your side of the border so have decided to paint nocks/NOT/boulders!
Even had time to cut out some flannel squares to finish up a rag quilt...
Don't know if you are like me, have a zillion things planned for one little weekend, always excited to see how much of my 'make work project' gets done.
Guess I'd better run get dressed...
Very cold and crisp here today but no signs of snow..perfect winter day!!!
Barb you are just as busy as I...it's an applique process, not the tedious one we've learned to do so I am excited, will share with you the minute I get it.
As for the 12 days of Christmas, 1 strip per day i.e. day one Santa and Tree I'll have it next Sunday so will be able to show you...did put all my christmas material away but now I've got to go in search of it all again otherwise will have to purchase her fabric...when I get home tonight Barb I'll type out a few of the projects that they are doing this spring, perhaps, some of them are the same as what you are doing...
ahhhh movies are calling me..heaven forbit I can't go put my jammies on and play downstairs in the craft room..
Hello all!!!
Betty so glad that "leased car" letter was a mistake lol you can laugh about it now, I bet!
Shirley - glad to hear you're feeling better & glad your GD is there, helping
Crissy - talk all you want about Tigga - no apologies to be made
LK - wanna send some of your warmth to us?
Barb - enjoy the skating - I've been thinking about taking it up again, but it would be too cold for me LOL
Well, we had Movie Night last night (The Majestic) and only 2 ladies came out, plus my DH & I who set it up.....
Today we were to go to Cardston AB, near Montana border, buuuuuuut - it was a total whiteout once we got to the "bedroom community" of Okotoks, so we turned around. Apparently it was worse further south we went, and we'd only gone 1/2 hr of the 3 1/2 hr drive!! Couldn't see more than 4 car lengths ahead, and couldn't see the side of the road more than that, either......
I was really nervous and so was Bob. At the first turn-around we did so, and came back home.
We had another viewing today, and when we got home I called the agent. The person wanted to know the heating/electrical per mo, how old the appliances are, etc. Sounds good, eh?
We've raised the price of the mobile, so let's hope they "come down" to where our original asking price was LOL
Hello All !
Susan - so glad things are looking good... and glad you all raised the price ! You'll be getting in that house soon I hope ♪♫
Betty - The Green Hornet... is... I think the movie that DD1 got to play as an extra in... DH had driven her to New Orleans and she and large crowd of people were chased down a street by something.... I'm surprised that she hasn't mentioned it was coming out in theaters... maybe they cut her part... any rate the chances you would actually be able to see her in the crowd are slim.... The scene was supposed to be near a beach... although as you know... New Orleans is not. LOL
Yes - I'm ready for February to be here. Mardi Gras will begin in a couple weeks.... :)
Crissy - That is the show ! It is so interesting....
Barb - you'll have to show us the kitty quilts... I remember grandma would always have a quilt for each of us at Christmas.
We were supposed to have 76 and sunny but no... it's been cloudy all day. I just gave Belle a new toy. She is quite adept at tearing toys apart immediately... so this one rated a "7" on the toughness scale at Pet Smart. Took her 5 minutes to get the stuffing out. HA! Least she's good at something ! Anyway it's kept her attention so I can have some computer time. She is good about getting into stuff she's not supposed to if I leave her unattended.....just like a toddler....
When she's done playing with it... We'll go walk outside and I'll check my hibbies. Hope they are okay.... I've been doing laundry and inside chores all day...
Hugs,
Mary
Betty hope you enjoy the movie.
Barb yes sewing and have a quilt on the rack I am hand stitching. Time consuming.
Cloudy and 38 here. BLAH
Mary to funny about the toys and the rating. Our Bella un-nots raw hides in minutes.
Susan good idea about raising the price hope it works out.
Grounded my car is in the shop until???????
Betty hope you enjoy the movie.

Looking forward to see the pic of the quilt!
39 eh? Well, we have white-outs of snow here, and it's only 2 F - were supposed to go to a friend's in southern AB, but couldn't make it past the outskirts - couldn't SEE, so came back home
Grounded? ewwwwwwwwwwwww what's wrong with your car?
Yes, we had another viewing of our home, and I think it went well. People are interested again...
That's why the Mystery Quilt got put on the back burner!!!!
The cat with the tulips would be awesome too!!! Whichever you decide to pick is fine with me!
Yay on the viewings Susan!!
Mary we got your weather! We were bright and sunny and a high of 76* today!!
We had a busy one, and I made it a good day! Dave went out this morning and did some gardening in the veggie garden, after I posted here I went out and found Tiga's grave, it was about 10" over to the left than I thought it was, I had my hand shovel because she's buried very shallow because the ground is sooooo hard out there. I was looking at the leaves and kept saying, "This wasn't just dug up. This wasn't just dug up either." I finally stuck my hand shovel in the ground and up came some red blanket that she's buried in. OOPS sorry Tiga!! Then I went up a little and found where the blanket ended, then realized that I was walking all over her body! OOPS Sorry Tiga again!! So I found her grave and cleared all of the leaves off of it, added a few more inches of dirt on top, Dave's going to add more later this week, and I moved a cutting of a knockoff rose a DG friend gave to me, it's not rooted or anything so I hope it grows, but if not there are a thousand other things that I could plant in it's place. Then I decided to find some big rocks and make a circle around her, this place grows rocks and I was looking and looking and low in behold I found a big stack of big rocks right beside me! The Lord works in mysterious ways! So I got that done then found a bucket of lilies, so I planted those on the outside of the rocks but I'm 2 plants too short but I have other lilies around here that I can get roots off of, again no biggie.
THEN me and Dave went to Lowes and bought potatoes, onions, and garlic, came home and planted all of that!! Even as busy as we were, Tiga never once left my mind. I wasn't a bawling fit, but she was always the only thing I was really thinking about. My cat daughter is driving me nuts!!
I found out a friend who moved to Tulsa is in town this weekend and she's supposed to text me, but hasn't done it yet and I'm so pooped I'm less than motivated on going out, even though I know it would be great for me to get out among people.
Shirley I wish I had a magic wand, I would wave everyone healthy!! Get some rest and I'll see you tomorrow.
Evening all...Noah and I did enjoy Green Hornet, laughed a lot and to tell you the truth I'd go see it again..3d added to the show..not sure who either of the actors were but both did their parts well...
Mary, awwww sure wish I'd known about your daughter possibly being an extra, eyes would have been glued to the screen..tell her to see the movie, maybe she'll see if she's in the part, she'd recognize the sequence. Laughing at the toy, going to cost you a fortune buying them if she goes through them so quickly
Want to go to bed but fired up the kiln and can't leave it unattended, see that, I am learning...so I sewed about 20 rag quilt blocks and rather than use my accuquilt rag die I'll sit on the chesterfield and do the ragging, by the time I finish them it should be sleep time...
Those are absolutely gorgeous Barb, be they were thrilled..I recognize some of the material..think you send me some...I especially like the kitty ones. How much of the mystery quilt is there still to do?
Ohhhh poor Tiga! 76 degrees, oh how I envy you all...sounds as though Crissy you've and Dave have put in quite a day, you must be tired but know once you make the attempt to shower, dress and get out you'll enjoy your friends company...will she be here next week also or is tonight the night?
Susan, saying prayers that this will be your buyer..guess there is a good chance it will sell for more now that it's definate that the buyer will not have to move the trailer...
Debbie, keep thinking of you tonight..sending warm hugs and prayers!
Judy, you still having the WB?
Dianne, didn't ask you this morning how you are feeling?
Bev/Scotty-Shirley/Tubby...as always a special prayer being said for you each evening during prayers....Crissy said it right, sure wish there was a magic wand so we could say abracadabra and you are all fine...
Best go check the kiln
Thank you Betty, I am just so very upset. I don't have anything postive to post, "it" has just hit the fan and splattered everywhere.
On a "good" note, everyone is healthy, so that isn't the issue.
Crissy....put black pepper around Tigas grave...it keeps animals away and they won't dig.
Missing you all, sending Prayer for all.....I am here in lurk mode.
Debbie
I'm just beginning the mystery quilt. I've only put together four rows out of about twenty. I'll send a picture of "so far" in the mornig. Tired and off to bed. Prayers being said tonight for all with a special one for Twyla. Her Mom is with the Lord now and no more sickness. Goodnight all.....
Hello All ;
Barb - Beautiful ! I remember them now... you had posted as you were working on them... how lovely !
(((HUGS))) Debbie ! Yes Crissy - i've used red pepper before and it seems to work as well...
Gosh Debbie - I hope things are okay. Seems like with teenagers there is something new every day... some new drama...
Betty - I figured out why I hadn't heard.... I have it wrong... it's "The Green Lantern" that she's an extra in which has not come out yet. Same DD was at Thespian Festival this weekend and today we found out that she won a scholarship ! Yay...
I'll have to watch the Green Hornet since you liked it.....
Crissy - I'm glad you got our weather.... Just pretend I sent our sunshine your way LOL!
It sounds like everything is falling in place for Tiga's special place......
How many potatoes/onions do you have to plant to make it worthwhile? I'd sure love to be planting stuff and I know some folks that do potatoes around here...
Laura - had forgotten you have a Bella too ! I read recently that it was the #1 name for dogs this year.... Can't imagine un-knotting rawhides LOL.... Yes Betty - I've already spent a lot on toys....but I just love surprising her... she's just like a kid when you hand her a new toy....
worried about DS.... he said he may not be registered for college after all. I've really got to try hard to let this be his 'thing' and not interfere. I mean... if it were important to him... he would make sure he is registered, right ? we will hopefully find out Monday.
Susan...your weather sounds horrible... might be good just to stay home stay safe.
So glad I don't have to deal with snow...
Hugs to all,
Mary
goodmorning to all coffee is on
Thanks Dianne, in need of it..think I have time to make the muffins before the others are up and at it!
would have been nice to sleep in until at least 8am but Sailor had other ideas..smart dog, wish she knew how to open the door herself.
You feeling ok Dianne? always know when friends are quiet something is not well..warm hugs heading your way!
Debbie, keep looking at the clock, much to early to give you a call but will do early this morning.
Barb, never quite sure what they mean by mystery..is it they give you a piece to do and once put together 'voila' you have a work of art..think there was one on the project sheet for the quilt shop I was at on Friday..hope my plans don't change and weather co-operates so I can go this weekend and get started on something..
Mary will have to watch for that movie..takes forever after the taping for them to come out...how proud you must be for her to get a scholarship...as she's interested in the arts could she possibly become a 'movie star' now wouldn't that be something.
It was funny, when I was in the waiting room yesterday morning at the car dealership with an 1 1/2 hrs. to spare got talking to a woman, perhaps she was a bit younger than I , omg we had so many common interests, Larry, part owner of the car dealership and friend of Greg's came in to ask how they were making out on their trip, then we gabbed as he's going to Mexico Thursday with his wife then all started gabbing about different areas and this woman started to talk about a festival of major music stars playing along the waterfront somewhere near New Orleans and how badly she wanted to go, she and 2 other girls, said 18 hour drive and they would have been there...her mom got ill and she had to cancel so we gabbed about the area..made me homesick..
Just took the goodies out of the kiln..mujst make another for Suzanne, lordy what was I thinking, you'd have to eat spinach and get some muscles to wear the one I made..much too large but pretty, earings are perfect. After breakfast I'll make a couple pendants with same glass and fire, need them for tomorrow so still have time.
A mystery quilt is one which you have no idea what it is going to look like until you finish it. You are given a list of materials and a cut list so you can partially precut your pieces before the class. When you get to class you finish cutting per the instructions you receive in class and then start to put together. You only get a small piece of the instructions at a time and are making different parts each time but it's not until the end that you see how the pieces are going together. At the end of the class you have the directions for the whole quilt. Most mystery classes have you put together about a quarter of the size of the quilt. I had a problem with my machine that day so only put a couple rows together then. Now I have almost the whole quilt to do. Anyway here are the first four rows......
Going to be beautiful Barb, love the colors..now is that the fiber that you can pin quilts to that you have it on???? nosey aren't I..
Noah is going to the community rink to play with friends, then home for lunch and then one of the coaches will pick him up at 2:00pm to do the hour trek to the arena in Collingwood..not likely he'll be home until 9 or so..gives me lots of time to play.
Had to pick up a few groceries so dropped into the car wash and washed my vehicle, lordy, almost looks new again!
Twyla many prayers are going out to you and your family hun.
Huh, I'll have to try that. She's deeper now since I've added about 2 more inches of dirt, plus she's wrapped in a king sized red polyester blanket, but I never thought of pepper! It would kill me to wake up one morning and see her grave tore up and her missing, I'll do that today! Thanks you two!!
Debbie what in the world????
She's just here for this weekend, and I didn't get to see her. It's ok, there will be another time, and I got to see plenty of other people.
Mary, we probably planted 10 potatoes, about 30 onions, and broke up 4 things of garlic so probably had 30 something cloves out of that, all for just the two of us LOL!! We just bought the packets that Lowe's and Home Depot sells when it's planting time.
Excellent Mary!!! Congrats to her!!!
I've been up since 6am with sickness. Actually was sick all night but it didn't decide to really do anything until 6 this morning. It's calmed down a lot now so I guess it's over...wonder if it was the chicken soup Dave made, the prime rib sandwich I ate at the bar, or the chicken sandwich I ate when we got home... it was early, 11:30pm. I don't think Dave's sick at all and we ate the same exact things all day long, so it may be nerves, they're still going strong.
Wonder if I could handle drinking some coffee.... hhmmmm
Betty....love you dearly, but please don't call this morning. I have a house full of kids....and I can't talk freely.
I will send you a dmail....
Hugs to all
Did try Debbie, will call another time..know you are in my thoughts though!
Crissy, very well could be that it's nerves for both you and Dave, know you'll say 'impossible' but very well could be..you've been through a traumatic time, rest and looking after yourself is what's needed, am sure your girlfriend understood.
Barb there is a mystery quilt class, called 'Medallion Mystery Quilt'..says you start with the center block and add a different border each month. Making it a scrappy stash-buster project..no sewing in class..reasonable - $10. for the monthly class..
Another stunning one is the Baltimore Christmas quilt..yikes it's gorgeous..
Years ago Roger's grandmother made me a Lone Star Quilt, must have been for our wedding, well guess who doesn't know where it is or if I even looked after it..there is a Lone Start Machine Piecing class..all the diamonds are done in rectangles with the Quiltsmart interfacing..again 5 weeks at $10.00 per week..might do that one..
Then day projectect are
Fageted fan - striking table piece that would make a lovely Mother's Day gift
and the Hawaiian quilting..techinique that was a creation of Victorian paper-cutting and Hawaiian traditions...says it takes 2 fat quarters..fee $20.00
Lots to choose from
Betty I've been a bundle of nerves since last Tuesday and have felt like getting sick some of the time, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's nerves.
Barb those are gorgeous quilts!!
Then just try and relax somewhat Crissy! Try some soups and a lay on the chesterfield...
Jeff just called, he's at my office fixing my computer..we had a nice chat, he was suppose to come snowmobiling but the computer is taking a bit longer than he expected...we talked about my purchasing a laptop so I could bring it to work and play on it without worrying I'm infecting office computer...he said that just about 4 weeks from now is my birthday and he and Greg will see about getting me an i-pad and that way when I'm travelling they'll have contact with me and won't worry...sooo I'm game for that!
Twyla has had such difficult times herself and then worrying about her mom....sending prayers as well!
Kiln's is ready for next bath of glass...better get at it,
Making headway, sewing on the rag quilt, doing glass, doing a wash, dusting and vacuuming, lordy I feel as though I'm accomplishing lots and yet nothing...lol
Hello All !
Betty - I didn't know you could email on an ipad... learning something new! I guess you can visit websites though and that's what they are thinking... I think the ladies you visited with are talking about Jazz Fest... it is the largest music festival in Louisiana and is held in New Orleans...
Although we have a LOT of festivals here... I mean a LOT.....
http://www.nojazzfest.com/index.php?http%3A//www.nojazzfest.com/info/
DD is already a movie star in her own mind LOL. I have literally heard her complain to her friends that DH and I have not brought her to Hollywood! She is talented.... I'll give her that.... but hoping she uses this scholarship.... it's a good drama school but small town and I won't worry about her as much as a big city....like New Orleans...
Crissy - it sounds like you need some time out time.... I hope you feel better soon.... Ya'll haven't stopped. I'll ask Hubby about potatoes... we do use a lot of garlic when we cook....so might be nice to have fresh....
Thanks for the coffee Laura ! ((HUGS)) Debbie! Thanks Barb for the info on mystery quilt... I learned something else new ! Sounds like fun...
Be back later...
Mary
I'm feeling better, Dave thinks I got a little food poisoning even though we ate the same things, and no, he didn't get sick, just heartburn from his drink, which he gets all the time.
Mary I'm trying to stay busy, if I stop I think too much.
I think Mary the i-pad works the same as a laptop but smaller and has a few more funstions..LindaKay did you not get one for Christmas, what is your thoughts on it...
Nothing like taking a drama course Mary when you are a teen and already full of drama...might be another way to express herself and keep on your good side..
Crissy, you must do what you have to do to get over the sadness..so difficult..
WOW and double WOW Bev...love that photo...16", yikes that's a lot of snow for you isn't it? They are calling for a big storm to come through on Tuesday or Wednesday, just not sure if it's in my region or the city..I could use a snowday so hope it's for my area...
You be careful wade'ing, wouldn't want you to fall and hurt yourself..think next time we have fresh snow going to take my c amera and do same! Can see those winter photo's done black/on/black and in frames..would be spectacular..if where you take the photo's are in your yard you should do same during each season..wouldn't that be something...got spaghetti waiting, 4 rows done of the rag quilt, bit wild but hey giving it away and want to use all my leftovers...lol...they'll think I just went wild!
Jewelery came out ok but not great..learning process, some glass fires quicker than others but it's nice enough to add with the scarf for Suzanne tomorrow...now to find or make a birthday card!
Yeah Betty, most winter pics are in my yard. If I wasn't afraid to drive on those roads I could get more but mine will have to do. Having a pizza tonight. That storm is the same one that we are going to get. There is ice and snow coming from the West and freezing rain from the south. It is going to come together right on top of us. YIKES!!!
