Bev as always love the picture.
Debbie I woke-up with a headache. YUK
Shirley oh no more snow. Do you have to go out today?
Well we lost our soccer game and DD playing fell hard and hurt knee. Iced it all night . Only 14 outside. Still no snow.
Need more coffee.
Best/Worse/What did I learn/chat about our day!Just Gab'n
Morning all, lots of headaches going around, hope I didn't send it to you all via computer posts...excedrin migraine, now that's what to take..works wonders!
OUch Laura on the injury and the lost..is he up this morning and doing ok..you might have to take him to be checked out...how old is he? Most likely why you've the heache. Why do I keep thinking you should be under a few feet of snow??? maybe because they say it's snowing in the east and I automotically thing your and Barb's region.
Imagine, just got up..had Paul not called who knows might have slept in until 9am..been a long time since I've slept in until 8am.
Bev, Thunder gave you some great advice, it's like the moment I say 'diet' that I want to eat everything in the house. I'm with Debbie, you cannot continue to look after Scotty now that you are not well and his failing..difficult decisions coming for you. Did you take that photo with a special lense to make the snow appear hazed..it's beautiful...and yes, we so love seeing your photo's and you of course..miss your postings...bet you are all ready thinking of your plantings come spring? Did you order daylillies this year to arrive in the spring, lordy forget how many you had to plant last year, tremendous amount then fell ill..
Ooops Noah's up, best go see what I can get hime for breakfast..
Pretty, you almost make me want to get dressed grab my camera and take a few photo's...coldest day of the year so might have to wait until things warm up a bit..still in nightie, just downloaded a book! Noah, he's got his xbox hooked up and comes out to gab now and then..doesn't eat breakfast he said so that's easy enough..
Bev, is propane there expensive? I have natural gas and it's quite reasonable so I think..must check my hydro and gas bills and see if they are up from last year..had a credit of almost $300 on my hydro bill, not sure if I've used a chunck of that, hope not, always nice to have a cushion should I need it.
Missy decided she likes the desk...hard to type when she insists on sitting on the keyboard
Guess it's her way of saying 'hi'
Sailor, well she's driving me crazy..knows I bought a box of cookies for her and knows if she goes outside to do her thing when she comes in I say 'good girl Sailor, Sailor want a cookie' been wondering why every 10 or 15 minutes she want out..
Furries, got to love them...something they are more work than kids.
Betty Dave didn't want to go out, or at least when I got out of the shower yesterday evening I asked him so I would know if I should get dolled up or not and he said no. After I get my jammies on and got all comfy on the couch he started hinting that we go out. I told him that I didn't want to do my hair LOL Jason didn't call saying he was coming down so it didn't matter. I think we'll do that after I buy my car from him, which makes since.
The digging party was at a gal's house who lost her husband, oh I don't know, about 1 year ago I guess, and she has decided to move and live with her daughter, so she put her house up for sale but wanted us to dig up the bed that her late husband designed and planted. She said that when she gets to a point up there where she is able to build gardens on her daughters property she's going to ask for some clippings and what-not of the plants we took. We all had a car load and we barely made a dent to what she has.
I don't like keyboard trays, I'd rather have the keyboard on top of the desk. Reaching up for the keyboard is the absolute worse thing you could do for your wrists and shoulders Debbie, that will tear the tendons up!
Bev Wonderful pictures!!! I am so sorry you're having such a hard time with him. You can quit smoking, I KNOW you can! I agree with Thunder, You Can Do It!!!
Shirley I would LOVE to meet you too!! I feel for you and all that snow, glad we don't usually get that much down here. Maybe someday you can con me to coming back to Nebraska, I was there once, for 2 weeks in June back in 1992 I believe, and there were tornado warnings every evening and I have never been so scared in my entire life! Of course I was just 19 then and we traveled all over the state. His mom lived in Gordon, NE and his best friends lived in Lincoln. I have pics of the badlands and a bunch of other things though somewhere around here, I hope!
Bev your pictures are so nice. We really don't have any in the trees, but there's plenty on the ground.I will go out and shovel later.
Betty your Missy reminds me of our Tiger we had. I loved him, I could ask for a kiss and I always got it from him. I was the only one too. My Bandit is the only in door cat I have, she is spoiled rotten. Tubby gave her to me a number of years back. She doesn't take kindly to other cats. I have one outside, his name is Star. Bandit and him are both gray tabbies, she doesn't like him and he's as sweet as they come. He always wants his belly rubbed. I can't have him in the house as he refuses to use the litter box and wants to mark territory all the time. I'd like to have a couple more for outside, but right now there is no money in the kitty for getting shots and fixed. Someday I will. They are good to have around for the mice. I'm gonna order some stuff to sprinkle around for the rats. I only have a few areas that are problems.
Have a great day everyone, check back later. Oh ya, I just made a cinnamon crumb cake, fresh out of the oven. Come and get it! I just made a second pot of coffee.
The road grader just went by, he'll be back again. I just hate it when dogs want to go out when he is driving by. May have to shut off doggie door for awhile.
shirley
LOL Betty! Yes furries are sometimes more babies than human kids! Tiga woke me up at 5am putting her lips against my cheek, dang that gives me goosebumps but it's so darn cute! I ignored her so she ate some dry food, then this morning when I woke up she decided she wanted to play so now my arm looks like something from a horror film lol
Betty, my cat Daisy is stretched out on my desk every day...all day long and if I sit down without saying hello...she stands in front of the monitor.
My "organized pile" of papers is no more...she just plays in them. Incentive to clean them up you would think....NOPE! lol
Bev, Thunder has good ideas for that. Up here when my Mom was quitting....it was a bit easier. No smoking in restaurants, stores or public places, work....you had to go outside to a designated area, even if it was 10 degrees outside. AND if you got caught smoking anywhere in the place...automatic fire. A pack of cigs is close to $8.00 up here...so many can't even afford it and are quitting. Watching my Mom go thru chemo for lung cancer was incentive enough for my kids to not pick up the habit, thankfully. Lots of hugs, you can do this!
Yes, still have the headache...day 3. Also have had a bloody nose the last couple days. We have a humidifier on the furnace, will have DH check to see if it is too dry. But wondering if I don't have sinus infection or such.
DH is out snowblowing, it is in the "negative" range out there. NOT fun. Of course he is doing the neighbors, the fire hydrants, the mail boxes....he just goes and goes. I think he his feeling better form last weeks surgery. Back to the doctor he goes tomorrow for recheck on that.
OK, needing more coffee....have a great day
Debbie
LOL Debbie, sounds like Dave! He'll get the leaf blower going and end up doing the whole street! It's hilarious. Yup, it does sound like he's doing better. YAY
I've had a sinus infection for probably a month now, I think I've got an ear infection since the beginning of November, and one of my lymph nodes on the right side of my neck is swollen. Oh! And I have something on my nose, like a mole or something, that needs to come off as skin cancer is very popular on my mom's side. There's something else too..... I don't remember at the moment but I'm sure I will when it flares up.
Bev, so sorry to hear Scotty is going down hill. Our hearts and prayers are with you girl. Now is probably not the best time to try and quit smoking, the stress level is high for you. I need to stop again myself, I'll work on that down the road. Maybe easier when spring comes and I can really stay busy. Tubby has one now and then. At this point, he doesn't figure it matters. I'm not going to push the issue and his Dr.'s don't either, they figure he can have something he enjoys.
Debbie, your cat Daisy is a darling. I know they can drive you crazy somedays, but I can't imagine ever being without a pet. They are too much company. I'm just thankful they can't repeat what I've told them over the years.LOL
Crissy, Lincoln is only an hour from us. My twin brother and his wife, and oldest sis live there. Let me know if you ever come this way.
OMG Debbie, Daisy is just too adorable..have you tried Excedrin Migraine, do get Paul to get you some..If I take 2 and rest for 10 or 15 minutes I virtually can feel the headache leave..why not this time??? could probably have been a bit of the flu bug OR was trying to do more than I should and not give it time to work!
Crissy, no playing around with the mole, call Dr. and get appt. as soon as you can. As for the snowblower and leaf blower, I'm like that with the lawnmower, just love cutting grass..haven't for about 3 years because when I come home Friday's which is my lawn cutting day (need it nice for the weekend) she's already cut it..thinking of getting a rider this year.... can be so relaxing in your thoughts while doing these things..and Crissy, sign of getting older when a bath and p.j.'s start to take priority over going out..lol just what you needed to hear right? Did you not get in infection not so long ago from the scratches you got from Tiga? She plays hard..
Did you prepare a garden for all those plants..is it a good time to be digging up and replanting where you are?
Hope Paul gets good results tomorrow..Debbie have you checked your high blood pressure and are you taking your meds when needed? maybe you could put a few pots of water on the stove and boil them for awhile to see if that helps...you were expecting a visit from your DD last week, did she manage to get out?
Shirley, my kitties don't hit it off at all but both do enjoy playing with Sailor.
Cinnamon cake was yummy..am sure from all the goodies you have ready in the morning I've put on 5 lbs...
Just spit out my coffee Shirley, lol, yep, tell the furries everything, thank the Lord they can't spread gossip
Should get dressed and go to Home Depot..move a cupboard around for the girls for their coffee machine and microwave in the craft room thus losing my sewing machine and serger table, if I were to get a sheet cut to size I could have a lower shelf for them..only making due until I can have this little room changed over and designed to micro fit what I need to play in.
Noah just said he's going to the skating rink which is 4 doors down at the community center..outdoor rink but he enjoys it, usually Melanie drive him in the evening when he doesn't have a practice or game..brrr much to cold for me but then I'm not 13..
No Betty I caught a cold and it turned into a sinus infection. I've never gotten an infection from Tiga. I LOVE riding my rider lawnmower! It is relaxing! As far as the bar, my dad's a bar fly and before we all moved if I wanted to visit with him or tell him something the only way I could do that was to go find him in the bar and I would always go home at 9 or 10, I've never been one to stay out late partying like that, I've seen the damage it's done to my dad so I just say no. Even though Dave isn't a bar fly he does like the bar scene and the party of the whole thing. I'm one that would want to go out to the party once a month, maybe, and get a bunch of friends to go dancing. I've never been one to go out every weekend. We haven't been out in 3 weeks now so that's good.
very cute computer cats.....my cat stays outside.
I agree with the "thankful they can't repeat what I've told them over the years" my dog knows "all my secrets" !!
crissy..my parents separated and eventually divorced when I was young, and when ever I spent time with my father...it was in a bar!!! I think he spent more time in bars, than anywhere else...don't know how he was able to keep some of the jobs he had for as long a times as he did??? he even went to a bar on his lunch !!
I can remember spending every Friday and Saturday nights at bars to dance and listen to the bands...that was before they charged to get in!! when they started charging, we quit going...
Marion got an infection from a cat bite, quite some time ago. Maybe that is what you thinking of Betty??? have not seen any posts from her in quite awhile, hope she is ok....??
Morning everyone! Thanks for the coffee and sweet rolls Shirley! Sure sounds cold up your way!
Bev, love those pictures, they are so pretty!
Just came in from shoveling snow, it's -5* now. It has warmed up 4*, WOW! that's a heat wave. I'll go back out after my toes warm up and finish. I hope the guys come by and want to push snow. I've got some for them. Actually the sun does have some warming affects, the snow melting from the roof. I took tarp off ramp, I have to spread some ice melt on it. I'll cover up later today. There is no wind and I hope it doesn't start.
Thunder you are right it was Marion....know her mom wasn't doing and well and also she was ill, never rains but it pours...
NEVER a bar person, guess when you don't drink and see the misbehavings of some when they do you tend to not want to frequent them often..that being said, I did run 4 or 5 big dances while co-ordinator for Township of Georgian Bay..mostly Valentines Day, Octoberfest, Street Dance, B.B.Q. outdoor festivities and dance and Lobsterfest, enough for me...enjoyed the teen dances though every 2nd Friday night..talk about needing earplugs and your wits about you.
Shirley much the same here, can feel the temps drop as the evening is upon us..Noah looks bored, lol, so I've decided to take him to town, go out for supper and that will entertain him for awhile...car is running so best I get going.
Back from town, got the wood for shelving and the Kentucky fried chicken for supper, can't go wrong...got a little teasing from Noah with regards to eating without the taste of burnt..burn a few things and nobody forgets...lol
Wow, that is a lot of money, you'd have to heat for what, 3 or 4 months..my propane and hydro (electricity) is $200 -$250 for winter months..my big expense is water and sewer - $540 every 3 months... keeping thinking if we all moved to Florida it would be cheaper but imagine then we'd be paying big time for air conditioning...
Kentucky Fried Chicken is Tubby's favorite, he'll be right there, and wants legs only, will eat a thigh. Likes the white gravy as to the brown. I love the coleslaw. I eat any of the meat my favorite being the piece that flew over the fence last LOL. We prefer the original recipe. We are going to have a beef roast with all the trimmings later. I just woke up from a nap, shame on me. I have all the shoveling done, will cover the ramp in a bit. One of the boys came over and pushed the snow out of the way.
Had to stop and change the bed and clean Tubby up. I'll take the laundry down in a minute and put it through. He has no sensation so it's always a surprise. I'll give him a bath in the morning and wash his hair, better shave him also. I offered to redo the old shower in the old bathroom, but he says no. I think he doesn't want to get cold, so we have to do it all at the kitchen sink.
The propane here is running at $1.679 right now. We use to pay ahead, but it runs about 10 cents more a gallon. It would help if we didn't have to have it so warm in the house. I live in tank tops and sweat bands so he is warm enough. The basement where the bedroom and family room is, is not as warm. I keep the registers shut a bit. I have plenty of padding so I don't need it. We have our own well, and electric runs around $120 a month, depending on what we have running.
Better go get the potatoes, onions and carrots in the roast. Will check back later.
Shirley I'd be comfy in your house for sure...I love the heat and even at high temps I sit with a blanket on..remember when Roger and I were first married we'd visit his parents and they had a lock on the thermostat because having 11 children and themselves they found the heat up and down all day long so kept it at one temp....for me I'd freeze when visiting..always said I'd starve and put money so the heat could be turned up if I had to..can't bear the cold!
Every time I go to Florida Shirley I stop in Kentucky at the original Kentucky Fried Chicken Museum and restaurant..seems they are also the first to try new products..know I had something different last time I was there but cannot recall what it was..memory is the first to go right?
Turning in, later than usual but I've been reading, realized the e-book I downloaded from the library will soon run out so if I want to know the ending best I read..guess I could re-order it if I dont finish.
Noah turned in, he's got to be at hockey practice at 5:30 tomorrow morning and would you believe it's a day off for him so likely he'll come back home to bed...luckily a hockey mom will pick him up and bring him back..he's old enough to be here on his own tomorrow.
Night/night
Lord willing we'll gab tomorrow
My electric bill averages $ 300.00 a month winter heating, summer air conditioning...we get a month or so in spring when we don't have to heat, and air is not on yet, so bill goes down some......then again in fall when we can turn off air, we get a few months before we have to use heaters. propane is $5.00 a gallon, which we use for cooking and hot water.....
Just bought a new water heater, and stove. electric. as we can not afford to pay so much for gas...we have been told that the electric water heaters are much more efficient to run, therefor less expensive, and they can be put on a timer, so it only has to be heated for certain times of day, again saving money....hopefully.... got to get them hooked up yet....
today was a day off, I did some sewing, hubby and I went out for awhile, did some shopping, I got some fabric to finish one of the quilts I am working on... we went to sonic for supper, had hot dogs....tomorrow I work early...8am.
Hope Y'all have a great day.
Hello All ;
Shirley - KFC thighs are my favorite too ! Betty - Where in Florida is the original KFC? I say I'm "From Florida" and I didn't even know that...
Love Barefoot's idea for quitting... Can I make it work for Dieting as well ?? I've been trying to eat only soup, salads or sushi since the New Year.
A friend at work just quit smoking... she used some patch they have at Sams Wholesale...
Crissy - agree with Betty... go get that burned off ! I have to go every 6 months... You are younger than I..but we are that "Tanning" generation... I remember burning as young as 12... thought it was "cool" to be tanned... but I would burn...
Such Cute kitties. I dont' know why but all of a sudden... when I pet Shadow... my eyes get VERY irritated... I can't have developed an allergy to cats? Maybe there's some dander or something on him ... that I can bathe him and get rid of? he jumped on my lap tonight and now my eyes are puffy and irritated...
It bothers me because I'm the only one that pays him any attention anymore and pets him. Belle is still giving him grief...
(((HUGS))) Bev... Sending some sunshine your way.
I spent the weekend putting last year's photos in photo albums. I ask myself... WHY!? DD1 always said she loves that I do that .... however I never see them look at old photo albums....
Why is it hard to find bed skirts? Are people still using them ?
Hugs all,
Mary
PS: Did anyone ever look for my fav book? Whirligig..... I will mail my copy to anyone who is interested
PPS: Susan.. how is the new job... and Dianne ... what are you reading lately? I miss you guys... used to be part of the night shift but I know how busy life can get... just please check in ((HUGS))
Hi Mary..I would love to read your book!!! I am in the address thing
Maybe kitty is getting into something that is bothering you ??? does he go outside?? could he be bringing in some pollen or dust?? from something....
happens to me if my dog rolls on fresh mowed lawn!!! crazy mutt!! he is allergic to it too!!!! he gets a rash, I get itchy eyes, scratchy throat!!!
Hey Barefoot - I am not sure what the address thing is... but dmail me your address and I would LOVE to mail it to you... and I will include enough postage to send it on afterward..... Kind of a "pay it forward" thing... LOL....
Yes - Shadow goes outside... Maybe that is it....
Its such a shame... I tell folks... "Shadow is HALF the cat he used to be"... Belle chases him... aggravates him... eats his food... really he was TOO FAT before so it's not all bad... I just feel bad for poor Shadow...
Thank you Barefoot! I just want someone to read this book to see if they love it as much as I do......
Hugs,
Mary
Morning all,
Been up a few times already this morning; woke Noah up at 4:30 so he'd be ready by 5:00 and he said it was much too early, only needed 10 minutes to grab his bag and get out the door. Knowing he might go back to sleep I kept talking to him and then grabbed an hour of rest...just noticed he left his goalie gloves so not sure what he would have done to play, can't play without them..drats..guess I should have gotten up and check.
Thunder that sure is a lot of $$$ to keep the household heat and lights going on a monthly basis..can't imagine what people do who don't have jobs right now..overwhelming I'm sure. Sounds as though you were very productive yesterday..what's the name of the quilt you are doing?
Mary, my e-book is finished today so will go looking for new books tonight to download and am hoping yours is on the e-book system if not I definately will pick it up next time I'm at the library..it's on my list.
I would imagine sometimes Mary you can become allergic to something you've never been allergic to all of a sudden when your body chemistry changes..I too miss Susan,we'll have to put out an s.o.s for her to visit.
Favorite thing in the morning is to come downstairs, coffee in hand and see the night shift postings.
BRRRR will have to start the vehicle extra early this morning to make sure it starts, should have plugged it in last night...
SOOO tempted to take today off but had better not, need those days to go visiting this summer ..
Morning everyone! Betty, sure sounds cold up your way! Hope you get that glove to Noah!
Our house is all electric, and our bills usually runs about $300.00 or less for the winter and summer, when we have the heat and/or AC on. Like thunder we have a few months where we run no heat or AC, so those bills will drop to about $150.00.
Good Morning!
The sun is coming up, it's suppose to warm up to around 30* today. There's a chance of some flurries on Wednesday, otherwise nice. That will be nice.
Talked to the GD last night and gave her the information she needs for her ticket. I'm gonna have the oldest daughter in Omaha pick her up and either I'll go get her Wed. after I drop Tubby off at dialysis or she'll bring her out after her son gets out of school.
I've been on the phone with sis in Missouri since early this morning. She's have a spell with her heart again, will call her in a bit and she what she has found out. It's terrible to be so far away and try to help.
She talked to the Dr. on call, but he thought it was the flu, what a dummy. I told her at 8:00 the on call Dr. wouldn't be the one on call and to ask to speak to her Dr.. She has court at 9:30. but said she may have to postpone it as her health was far more inportant. Hate the waiting and not knowing. Oh well, will wait and see.
Tubby is up so I'll see if he wants anything for breakfast. I had a piece of coffee cake, so I'll just have some oj in a bit with meds. I better go get dressed so I can get started on something. Chat later!
Have a good day to all.
Shirley
Drats Shirley that is not good..glad she's decided her health is more important
As it turned out I have outlook here at the office but can't access the internet, have to wait for Paul to fix tomorrow BUT had one of the girls e-mail me the google link and I was able to access it.
Called my doctors office, wouldn't you know he's on the after hours clinic today and I called and was able to get an appointment so will leave work at 3:00 and get to see him so that's a plus for me today
As for Noah's gloves, they were his regular hockey gloves and his goalie gloves were in his bag so he was able to play..got home about 10 minutes before I had to leave with a Tim Hortons hot chocolate and donut..said the hockey mom treated them all.
LindaKay, I dressed like an eskimo today..car was a little hesitant but it started...
Thunder not all bars charge, we go where they don't have a cover, or we know everyone who works there and don't have to pay it! LOL My dad's a functioning alcoholic, he was a mechanic for the City and built the cop cars my mom drove! Mom retired when she was 50, Dad retired when he was 55ish but I think that he either had to retire or get fired, he was coming home drunk at 4am and had to be at work at 5am and there's no possible way you can sober up that fast. My parents didn't divorce until I was 26.
I have all electric and it goes down in the spring and fall, but summer and winter is always high. My bill for half Dec/half Jan was $170.00 and that's with freezing temps and some snow.
Mary, he won't burn it off, he'll cut it out, it's just this minute little thing and it feels like it's going away anyway. Oh no you're suddenly allergic to your cat! That's horrible!! I don't know of anyway to get rid of cat dander, outside of giving him a bath every day.
I broke my computer yesterday! It has Bluetooth and has never really ran right. I replaced the batteries in the keyboard and when I turned it back on it registered as I had new hardware and then the driver installation wizard for the Bluetooth driver dialog box popped up and I thought, "No wonder it isn't working right, I never installed the driver!" So I installed the driver and now the computer won't recognize the mouse and keyboard at all. I got it to DOS and they won't work there either. I was even trying to get it to Safe Mode to see if I could get it working in there, nope! So I'm going to take home a hard wire keyboard and mouse from work here and see if I can get it working with those. If not it'll be coming to work with me then so I can fix it here.
No school today.
Waiting to here from bank about loan for the camper.
Cold here. I think I need some chocolate. Lots of it.
Where is everyone?
Hello!
I just got home from doing a few errands after I dropped Tubby off. I'm gonna go back outside and see what is wrong with my windshield washer. It doen't want to pump anything now. I just got off the phone with my sis in MO. and said the Dr. called in some nitro pills and is feeling better. She goes to see him on Friday. That helps take some of the worry away.
The GD is having her nerve block done at 2PM today so waiting to hear how that went. There seems to always be something going on.
Better go get my stuff done and will check back in after I get home from getting Tubby.
Have a good day all!
We're back home from our appts. Tubby tucked in for a nap before supper. We're gonna have hot ham & cheese grilled. That's what he wants, something light. I took all the batteries out of my watches that don't run. There are only three that work right now out of 40. I have some batteries on hand, but will only use them when I want to wear that pacticular one. I know I'm crazy and my sis from MO just got me a new one before Christmas. The ramp is covered for the night.
Well Crissy, I looked under the hood and low and behold my nozzles that go to both of the front washers are broke off. I stopped and found out what it would cost to get it fixed. $80 with labor and tax. The parts are $15.30 apiece. Oh well, I need them since I can't convince Tubby to ride on top and spray cleaner on them once in awhile.LOL I have no idea how they got that way, since I have had antifreeze fluid in the washer since right before winter set in. There goes my diamond broche LOL.
There's not much else for news so see ya all later.
Betty hope everything turns out at your Dr.'s appt. You take care of yourself.
Shirley, DH had to stop on the way home tonight and get those little spray nozzles for my van. Told DH it was $17 for that little nozzle and DH said...I'll have to wait. The man gave it to him "wholesale" which was $12. He said he had to take the "outter dash" apart in order to get it in, and in these temps took some time...so unless your mechanical, might want to get it done.
I just took a Zicam a bit ago, I suddenly got the chills and my throat hurts and I ache all over. I take another one in 3 hrs. and every 3hrs. after that. I hope it helps. The last thing I need is to come down with a cold. I'll just have to watch it. It will be early to bed tonight. Tubby is still sleeping so he is in no hurry to eat. I could care less. If I would beleive that you could catch a cold over DG's. LOL! There is nothing here that needs to be done tonight. You all take care and will check in tomorrow, so have a pleasant night.
Debbie, I'm having someone else do the washer repair. I have the general idea, but am afraid that if I do it myself it'll probably cost more in the long run. They will do it Thursday afternoon.
See ya in the morining!
Hope you feel better very fast Shirley...
Betty I am working on a log cabin...been working on it for quite awhile, have had the front done, and had some leftover blocks...sew I was using them for part of the back, and could not decide how to finish the back......I got one of those "flashes" of inspiration !! so I have been working on the back side....
this is the front
