i had a kitty for 22 years when i was a girl. she died when i was 27. we grew up together.
then my other kitty died at 18. i have her in a box creamated.

Ya....it has been so hard on Rick.......Bryan Lofties was his name but at work they called him " Lofty " He was only 36 and was recently divorce and has an 18 yr old son. here is a pic of him.It just tore me up so bad Friday setting there with 3 adult men just sobbing, I can't stand to see Rick or Ryan cry !!

thanks Susan. its so weird , no one has died in my family for a loooong time. So its kinda weird. I just wish i was there so i could help out my cousin :( i know her sister won't help out ! its like she is all by herself doing this . ? feel so helpless.

Had ekg done so I am ready for surgery on Feb 7th.

Doug is having a real bad time with his neck. We will be seeing doc about his neck surgery on Feb 9th. Now bad news :( beings Doug qualifed for SSD we can not get married now. Doug said it didn't matter, because we are going to be together for the rest of our lives. All marriage is a piece of paper, lol. So we are going to have a pretend wedding, ^_^, lol

Well Rick is home ,fed and a sleep....he was just very quiet when he came home.

Cindy glad your EKG was good sorry Doug is having trouble with his neck ! OK,being kinda dense here,why would Doug getting approved for SSD effect you guys getting married?

Lots of people don't get married, if they are both on SS, then it is considered too much income, and one of the checks will be cut! Pretty sad!
Synda, give Rick a hug from us please! Pretty hard when you lose a freind like that!

What made it real bad to is we are so close and the fire happened right at the same time they were to be going to work. I could see the fire from my kitchen door,it lit up the entire sky .Rick had to stand and watch the house burn knowing Bryan was still inside...........! : (

Plus this happened to us 6 yrs ago come the Monday after this years Mothers Day......when we lived in town we were real close with the couple that lived just across the alley from us.And right when Rick was to get up for work we seen smoke coming out of Tom and Mary's house, Tom made it out and Mary didn't. And all we could was stand there.....such a hopeless ,devastating feeling .

oh Synda - how terrible......... I can just about feel the helplessness you must have felt......

Crissy so sorry about Tiga. Our old cat is 22 almost 23. He is deaf as a post and staggers when he walks. He eats good and seems OK otherwise, but I know that the time is coming.

I'm very thankful that Tiga never lost her eyesight or hearing, she was extremely alert. Probably why I'm so shocked, but the Maine Coon experts say they're kittens one minute then they're gone the next. Kinda what happened here.

My contacts are all 'fogged' up!

found a chicken with one toe missing. She had blood all over her.
she is in the basement in a small cage. i may see what else i can do but honestly ? she may just have to heal and well.... be on 3 toes chicken. LOL i hate washing chickens. they don't like to take baths. worse then dogs. actually more like cats ! not looking forward to that .

Hope the chicken as stopped bleeding? Geesh, wonder what happened?

Hi all......I'm pretty sure you all are in bed by now.

Vitamin D3......is good for everyone to take especially in the winter months because of the lack of sun.And UV lighting helps also.
that poor chicken...... !!!! OUCH !!!!!
And that will be the last time I ever say if I have an uneventful day.........Last night at 2:55am a friend of mines son was killed in a car wreck on his way home from work.Erich was 32 and has 2 little girls ages 9 and 4.

o my goodness Synda!! (no, I'm not in bed - it's only 9:35 now......)
the poor family.........a car wreck, and at such a young age - I'll keep them in my prayers!

Synda - sometimes it doesn't seem to, but rest in the comfort that he's now with his Father in Heaven, and he's been called Home. It's his family that's suffering now, not him.

I know Erich is in a better place,but Morgan and Alexis are so young to understand and to grow up without their daddy..........

we are trying to get into a new medical insurance that would save us big $$$ .
well i have to dig up all my medical history over the last 10 yrs. uhg. i have no idea of Dr.'s i have seen 10 yrs ago ?
so what a ton of hoops i have to jump through , well are they doing this with my DH ? you ask......NO! and why , cuz he ain't seen no Dr. in the last 10 yrs !! . That just chaps my gizzards.

Hope you find all the papers your looking for! Usually it is up to the insurance people to do the research. All you should have to do, is give them a list of names, and they do the work!

OMG Synda that is absolutely horrible!!! My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Sue LK is right, you shouldn't have to do anything. My mom just switched insurance, she has her medical history because of all of her problems, so she faxed that over with all of her dr's list, probably 50 of them, and they did the rest and will either approve you or not!

well they seem to keep coming up with things like Dr's ect.. .? sheesh. so i went to my Dr office and signed a release so they will get it , i hope ?
