Just got back in from shovelling. Didn't get much but was the heavy stuff. Man you moved closer to the road and that wind was whipping!!!! Not that bad without the wind though...the sun is out.

Oh yeah, so I go out there and only see the kiddie size shovels...call hubby where are the big people shovels? In my truck...oh great...we have no other shovels??? In the shed....great shed is a mess...someone in this house is soooo unorganized.
Anyhoo, have to crawl over the tractor and bunch of other things, move boxes of filters out of the way...shovel all the way in the back...at least I think that's the snow shovel handle...but really looking for a different one...well better than nothing...
it's one of those curved ones....now curved and bent so it shovels like a snow plow just to one side....great...so had to shovel one way and then back the opposite way to get it all...UGH got my workout in for the day

That's were the kiddie shovels are, but the past snowfalls he had to use the snow blower and not the shovel except for the stairs, but like I said he brought the shovel to work, has to shovel his way to some of the rooftop units ya know

12 weeks burning the wood stove and still at 70%. At this time we would of had 3 fill ups and looking at 1200 bucks anyways. Dont forget the wood is free from where Jim works.

Lucky you, Sherrie....can't believe the price of gas or home heating oil....just terrible! If you think the walls are driving you nuts, place yourself in the walls with a cooped up airedale,,,,eeeek! I keep putting him on the porch (snow free) just to get him out of the house......he keeps pounding on the door to be let back in just to bug me for a walk, which is not happening today or for the next several.....

We didn't get much snow here, maybe about 4 inches. Dad and I shoveled the driveway. Patches had a great time playing in the snow while we worked.

They are up to $4 a box in some states, Maine is still $3.50 a box but we don't have the selections other states do. It's fustrating as heck as DGD has to sell 300 boxes to be able to go to G.S. camp this summer for a week. Las year they made her sell 200 to be able to go.
