Sad to see this. One of many stories from 9/11 that I will never forget. she seemed like such a dynamite lady.

Coffee Break #51 - First 2011 Edition
Congrats Jan!! Will pray for a full term and delivery :)
That was a sad ending to her life, Victor. I liked the words about her - "a study in dignity".
Best wishes, Jan!
Thanks for the good wishes.
Definitely a sad story.
Wonderful news, Jan! We'll pray for the best. That poor woman from 9/11 probably inhaled enough chemicals to damage to her heart...that, & walking down 78 flights of stairs! I worry about my stepdaughter's husband, who was trapped in his office 2 blocks away....he said he could write his name on his desk from the stuff that was filtering in the windows.
great jan!
It's Time........to wish Victor a safe, gentle, knee "correction" in the upcoming days.
Victor, you'll do well, I think, because you have a lot of "soul energy." I'm not even sure what that is, but you seem to have a lot of "spiritual spunk"; if anyone can get through it, you can.
Bon chance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Hope it has not been bumped because of the weather. Just called and left a message.
Yes, good luck tomorrow, Victor! Let us know how you are doing as soon as you are able.
Great news, Jan. Wishing a healthy successful pregnancy for DIL and Son!!
Best wishes, Victor! of course they're not needed, as you will do fine.
Some sad news for us today...a young friend of my sons died of what they are thinking was heart related. Only 35 with 3 young kids...wife couldn't wake him up, went off to work thinking he was just sleeping in...called a few times and after no answer came home to find him dead. My boys are a mess, school buddies into adult hood, attended both my sons weddings...he did all our refrigerator work for us at the pizza shop. I can remember many a time he was along on our mountain trips...just so sad to think about the kids.
Oh no - so sorry, Ron. Prayers for the family. So young. I had similar news over the weekend. Guy who lived on the next block - his wife died at 49. Just awful when people are so young.
Thanks, all.
Yeah it seems like life is cheated when they are that young...
terrible news Ronnie... so sorry to hear it
sorry to hear that
So sorry Ronnie, how terrible!
Tough on the family & prayers for them to handle the whole thing.
My condolences
That's terribly sad - on both counts. So sorry for the families and all friends.
Very sad news, Ronnie, for the children, spouse and friends.
My heart is breaking for those families.....much too young. Victor, prayers & hugs headed your way.....
So sad for ones so young. Prayers for the families.

Has anyone heard from Victor today????
Here I am! Sitting on the recliner, elevating and icing. It went well. He did not have to do microfracture. Cleaned out a lot of loose cartilage, shaved bone and did the lateral release. Pain meds have not worn off yet so no pain. Have a RX for it.
I'll check in later or tomorrow. THANKS!
Nope he's prob. higher than a kite! lol
WE crossed posted, glad to hear from you!
Whew! So glad to hear all went well, Victor!! Nighty night!
Happy to hear all went well.....the pain probably won't be too bad......never used the pain meds for my hip.....
Glad it went good.
Glad it went well, Victor. Get well soon!
Hope that it clears up all the problems, Best, Lucy
yuck Victor, on the description, but glad you're doing well so far!
glad you are ok Victor.. rest up & heal up!!
LOL
One of my husbands friends called him today to tell us his wife died, she had just started a new workout routine this week, and today she thought she was having indigestion. She went to lie down, and her husband found her later. She was in her 60's, and had seemed healthy. It looks like it was a heart attack.
Please everyone, don't pass off symptoms as nothing, especially women, whose symptoms can be more vague.
