It was 9 degree's when I got up this morning and it's now 14.....I really don't like this weather. :(

I had planned to go to drive NYC in the morning and then return to the Hyannis on Sunday to pick up DH for a family dinner in Boston on Sunday night. But today when I saw the storm projections I decided to cancel my drive to NYC. I would hate to get stuck there in a storm as I am horrible at driving in the snow. So now we will leave the Island together early on Sunday morning to beat the storms arrival or even go up on Sat if need be as I have to be in Boston on Monday morning for medical crap, so I can't cancel the trip completely. But we shall see what Ma Nature has in mind. Patti

Yes! Have a houseful coming on Sun......and I've been called in to work on Mon., so NO SNOW! Pixie, you are that much farther east? Our sunset is 4:21....but soon to increase....yay!

It's 21 here, supposed to hit 30....good day for running errands, which I must do.

Currently 20 degrees and lightly snowing in WNY. Got about 2-3 inches overnight. And winter does not officially begin until Tuesday.

- Storm still tracking North off the East coast, will miss NYC. Storm warnings canceled for Eastern LI as it will likely stay offshore. Slightly below avg temps for the next few days. Presently we are one degree short of today's expected high of 38°.

Just came in from my walk.....a balmy 38...sunny and calm.

I guess I should have gone to the city yesterday, but I couldn't take the chance and get stuck. My son just got the news that he is off as of around 7pm on the 24th, so he will jump on a train as soon as he can and we will drive down to pick him up when he gets to New Haven. So we will have a family Xmas which is all I really wanted. Meanwhile it is very calm and quiet here today. The harbor looks like a mill pond. Patti

Robindog, Thanks. It will be perfect. Now 35 outside. Unfortunately today has been a house cleaning day, which I hate. I much would have preferred to play out in the garden no matter the temp.

DH will run the hoover as soon as I have everything dusted and straightened up which is almost done if I would stop playing on the computer. Then I just have to finish doing the laundry and make up the bed. I am all packed up already, so I am ready to go in the morning. Patti.
