Coffee Break # 49 Happy Christmahanukwanzika!
Thanks, Ronnie. Poor Kenny. I feel so bad for him. Feel bad for their daughter, too. She's 9.
Karen
Sorry to hear, Karen. That's rough.
My MIL will be admitted to the hospital on Friday for the angiogram. She will stay until they do whatever procedure they decide on. Her primary was very concerned about the state of her foot and did not want to wait at all.
Prayers for your MIL, Victor. Hope all goes well for her.
Karen
Sorry to hear that Karen, so close to the holidays too.
Thanks, Karen.
Thanks, WC. I know, what a terrible time for anything bad to happen.
Karen
Great news, Pixie! Victor, sorry your MIL will be in the hospital for Christmas....and Karen, that is sad news....feel sorry for the child....they get caught in the middle.
Great news Celeste.
Still praying for your mil Victor and your bro Karen.
Thanks, Jen and Marilyn.
Just got back from mailing a package. Got lucky and was the first in line. It was going to NM and cost me $27.95. UGH!!!!!!! It was rather large. Would not have fit in a large flat rate box. Too bad.

Did anyone watch any of the eclipse? I was up about 2:30 and it was just half, really neat to see. It was very clear here and with the stars looked real pretty. Way to windy for pics even if I had set up the tripod. A tad too cold too!
Too cloudy here.
If its 2 AM and I am still asleep, I tend to stay in bed and feel lucky.
Couldn't, was cloudy and started snowing :(
Sound asleep here.
I sent my alarm to get up. It was pretty cool!
Glad to hear you got lucky last night, Jo!!
The wind was howling so, I just couldn't get up & out!
Hee Hee!
Victor!!!
I give up Victor.
Its the last long night of the year.
Everyone in a good mood I see!!!!!

Happy Solstice to all (at 6:38PM)!!
Saw my little guy sing in the chorus last night for their concert. Very cute. The kids were all very enthusiastic.
I love little kids X-Mas concerts!!
DS saw the eclipse. I was asleep. He thought it was cool.

Today is the day to recite Frost's "Stopping By Woods On a Snowy Evening" and I did, out loud, as I walked Suey through the piney woods.....didn't have a little horse, just a little dog to turn & look askance at me.........
Cute! I'll try with my cats - but from inside.
Cool eclipse time-lapse.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!!!
I went out to dance with the rising sun this morn as I do every year at this time. I hugged the big old green ash whose spirit is deep down in the earth right now. The green ash is near the end of its life and is the slowest to return in the spring so I always share a part of this day with it.
As I moved away from the ash BONK! a small branch fell on my head and sent me flying into a snowdrift . Being flippin freezin I was dressed like the michelin man with my hood up so all I ended up with was a face full of snow. The moral of the story is: Don't hug a sleeping tree. It might wake up grumpy.
don't I wish it were the first day of spring... hope your head is ok
Sorry you hurt your ash!
Cool video Victor!
Happy first day of Spring Dnut!
Congratulations!
how nice Bill.... just beautiful
