I think you should have pressed your daughter to name her Pebbles.

Thomaston, CT

What a doll she is.....no spoiling!

Victor!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Pebbles would be cute and appropriate for a grandchild of Bill's. He will have her out there moving rocks and planting conifers and JMs in no time. Feed her well, Bill!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Bill..
She is Beautiful! Merry Christmas!!

East Bridgewater, MA

Beautiful photo, the best-est kind of Christmas is upon you !!!

Victor is on target with "Pebbles"; you can't name her "The Rock" because actor-wrestler Dwayne Johnson already has that moniker.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

NJ town not too bright.

Congrats Bill! she's a beauty whatever they want to name her.

Thomaston, CT

Someone will give her a nickname!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Census shock - people are moving from cold, high-tax states to warm, low-tax ones. Duh!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Hmmm but with the increased population I would think they'd have to widen roads, build more schools, hire more teachers and police, expand their overall public services, and increase taxes to support a larger population. To make matters worse the pay scales in those southern states ain't so hot. - so they'd end up back in the same boat they were in the first place!
- Escape is futile! lol!!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Good luck with the moves to warm low tax states. When everyone arrives they raise the taxes because of the demand for services.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Well, it didn't just start. Been going on for decades already. Many still have no income tax.

Pay is lower, but so is cost of living.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Bill, what a beautiful daughter and smiling grandaughter! I think 'Pebbles' is a great nickname. Loved the time-lapse eclipse, Victor.

I'm soooo not ready for Christmas. I feel like a bad wife, mom, friend, daughter, sister... etc. Just couldn't get my stuff together.

Morning Deb.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

hey Deb.
HEY everybody.
I have a Monkey Bread question.
If I wanted to serve it Xmas morning .When should I make it and bake it ?
Will it rise on Friday and hold in the fridge until Sat?
I have never made it.and its been ages since I worked with yeast dough.

You might try to let it rise some in the fridge over night, then finish it off when you get up in the morning - is everyone up as early as you? If not, then you'll have time. I made mine the night before and took it to work, and it wasn't as good as fresh from the oven.
I was going to try it the way I mentioned, but figured I might as well do it all the night before. Wish I had waited til morning.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I once tried to pre do the pieces with cinnamon sugar... it didn't turn out well... turned into a watery mess overnight .. but that was the biscuit dough

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I'm no help...never made it before, DD usually does it :)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks for the link and advise Deb.
Allison!1 Thats why I didnt use biscit dough.
I will try the partial rise. The SIL gets up around 7. I figured the bread should come out at 6, so I have to bake at 5. Bread needs to be risin and ready at 5. Thats when I wake up.
Ithink it will work.
