Today's Weather in your Garden - 83

30° with a BRISK wind. I am going to dig out my mittens as fingers were getting cold in my knit gloves while grocery shopping this morning. No snow predicted, it is north of us, even in NH and I saw the heavy snow precictions in Maine.

Winter out there! Very windy and 32.

Very windy here, flurries, no accumulation

30° and snowing. Calling for 2-4 inches here. DD is in the middle of exam week. They're getting hit as they're in the snowbelt.

We finally got a significant accumulation north of Buffalo in WNY overnight. About 8 inches so far and still falling. Temps in the mid-20's. Looks very nice from inside the house.

Still brown out there.

Its cold. Been 6 weeks since our furnace has come on since putting in the wood stove

Nice! I've built a fire or two :)

Oil delivered today....$345...lovely present! I took this photo today out the window...have no idea what made the tracks....snow snake?

Rain for the weekend, no snow predicted. We are 5 miles from the ocean & storm in Maine evidently curled around & backed in to them. Cold air heading for FL. Will not help the fruit crops.

The Lake Effect storm continues today. Cancelled plans for lunch w/GF.
Pat: the party was great. I met the golf group and went to my quarters to watch the first season disc 1 of LIFE.I like it.

Oh my JoAnn. Hope you get some sun to at least make it feel a bit warmer. Sun is out here but it is still cold. Very thankful no snow and really grateful no big dump like you are getting. Present temp is 24 degrees with a SW wind that should help us to just get over freezing for a high. Below average temps for most of the rest of the week.

OMG, Jo...can't like it! Yes, very cold in FL for this time of year....freeze warnings for central FL where the orange groves are.....another price increase no doubt! My son lives 40 min. away....his town won the snow lottery for CT with 5"....heading up there now to babysit.

Maine had 18-20" in some places, others just got dusting's. I was one of the luckier ones, only got about 6-8".
25 at the moment...dropping waaaayy down tonight!

We always spend Christmas day alone so wouldn't matter to me.

No snow! Need to get to the Mayflower Inn on Christmas Day....one year we did have to cancel.....all I had in the freezer were chicken cutlets.....not a very festive Christmas dinner that year!
