One or two family members get sick and then it's Christmas. Before you know it it's all over the place, a kiss here, a hug there, another kiss for grandma, another one for cousin whoever.. everybody gets sick!
- I stay away from the 'kissing- hugging' routine, I tell everybody I have a cold even though I don't! lol!!
26°, wind ESE at 6 mph, mostly sunny, going to 36° today.
Today's Weather in your Garden - 83
I gargle with peroxide and water, Lucy. Stops colds dead if they're caught early enough. My son has strep so I probably do too.
brrrr. low here was 15° it is currently 35° and cloudy
sorry you guys are sick.
Did they ever recommend you getting your tonsils removed?
I never had strep but tonsils came out in 3rd grade. If it is that see a Dr. I don't think proxcide will do anything for that.
Sorry Victor....hard time of year to be sick....sitting out in the sun always helps me, but not in these temps! And if it's strep, you need meds right away. Our high was 26, no sun, very damp & raw. Just looked out the window...big, fat flakes coming down.

Sunny and 37 degrees here in WNY. Climbing up the temperature hill so we can plummet down to the teens on Monday. Love roller coasters, but not this one. :)
Warm(hubby was ever out on the Harley today) clouds are starting to roll in
In the 40s. Ground too hard to do a bit of weeding, so that is it until spring. Warm tomorrow but rain predicted so what good is that?
great day in the yard today - chopped fire wood and collected and cut up dead pines for the fire pit.
A report from our daughters of snow, St. Paul & eastern WA. Ha ha,while we have rain coming, albeit 3". Still don't have to plow through it.
we have a freezing rain warning unit 4AM... joy

Pouring and 36.....don't have to shovel rain....am loving it!
54° wind SE at 18 mph, windswept rain with gusts to 35 mph.
- Windy with occasional downpours, DW's wifi is working, but my land lines have a spotty internet connection. Looks like rain for the next 36hrs here.

LOTS of rain. 1.84 inches so far. Warm, though - 55.

early this am we had rain. It has turned to snow. I hate slush under the snow!
rain for most of the day as we are on the warm? side of the storm which hit MN. High wind warning until early morning, gusts up to 50 mph. I can hear it howling.
42 now dropping to 38 and supposed to get snow showers
I'm at 54 and it feels REALLY wierd!
Its colder today.
I'm off to the Motor vehicle beureau to renew my drivers liscence for the last time.
It will be good for another 8 years. I doubt I will be driving at 83. If so I will just drive on an expired liscence.
Ha ha ha! Ge you rebel!!!
Thank you for the giggle...I really needed that this morning!!!
My father gave up his car when he was 88.
He was red-green color blind. My mother had to tell him where to turn and act as a guide. She also had to tell hom when the light turnned red.
We discovered he had been driving on an expired liscence for 4 years.
Are you telling me it's hereditary? LOL
And thats not all.
I recognise my father in me and there is nothing I can do about it.
Saw an old guy get arrested for driving with an expired license just the other day. He got caught when he had an accident!
48°, light wind from the SSW at 9 mph, periods of rain
- Winds increasing here by midday when it shifts NW, that's when we start dropping to our expected low of 23°. (hope it dries up a bit before it freezes.)
Thats how they found me dad.

41 and drizzly. Had 2.2 inches. Will drop through the 30;s today and will be brutal tomorrow.
Funny, Jo! We had a technician who did not tell us he was color-blind. We found out after he mis-wired color-coded wires - many of them!
