Look! It's snow! Yippee!!

A little quickly for me! LOL I didn't plan on going out today anyways. Online shopping is perfect for a day like today. ^_^

I plan on making a lot of my gifts this year, poor friends, so I can avoid the shopping madness. Love seeing the snow, BUT somewhere else. Not ready yet. DH just went off to the bakery to get some fresh bread for Turkey sandwiches tonight. Not sure I can manage the bread, but I figure I can take Romaine Lettuce leaves and roll up all the turkey fixin's to almost have a turkey sandwich. No longer raining, just damp and a balmy 57 now. Sorry some of you have bad weather so early...it's 48, cloudy, & damp here but I'll take it. Patti, your Mom is so active still...good for her. My Mom's tree is a little table top one my nephew sends her from Bean's every year....that's about the extent of her Christmas decorating! WC, you're right about the fall weather changes.....ground used to be frozen here by Thanksgiving...no more.

Wha, sounds like you have time to visit me and finish up my beds. I hope to be out today doing more. Lots in the garden is still quite green which is really weird.

Can't sleep, no reason except that it is so quiet tonight. No wind or rain. So after a couple of hours of tossing, I thought I might as well get up and start entering all the bulbs that I ordered yesterday from B&B's sale. Patti

Good morning Patti...I could sleep but i have Hunters at my house. It's the last day of hunting season so im in a good mood! LOL

Celeste, What are they blasting? Something good to eat, I hope. DH found a grouse on the roof of our Vt house last week. Fresh killed, but no idea of how it ended up dead on our roof. No shot, so he thinks it was nailed but not retrived by a hawk. He dressed it to save the feathers, but we didn't dare eat it. Odd thing as my DH's grandfather, long dead, wrote two books on them. Partridge Rambles 1937 and Partridge Adventures 1951. Patti

They are deer hunting, have a bunch of venision lovers here and always a freezer full of it!

Beautiful November day here at 41°, wind from the West at 18mph with gusts to about 25. Humidity is a comfortable 36% and it's partly sunny.
-Turning mostly sunny with a high of 46° today, gusty wind expected to reach up to 40 mph at times.

(Just finished planting some Alliums, Irises and chrysanthemums with DW, it's nice as long as you're in the sun, a bit nippy in the shade.)

Funny coincidence, I was just thinking this am of the old Estes rockets I have stored away, good time now with less people in the park. - I just don't feel like running after them right now, (lol!)

Temp is in low 40's but with a wicked wind....lost another large branch from an apple, which are in desperate need of pruning, or really, taken down...they are well over 100 years old. Some sun, but a lot of clouds....will be very nippy for Light Up the Town tonight! Jo, can't believe the snow...hope my brother is not out in it!

Sunny but cold. Just now broke out of the 20s to hit 30 degrees at present. Light NW wind. Slightly warmer the next couple of days, then some rain likely.

Ice crackling is visable in the shallow water of the marsh on the way home from church. It will do that when the overnight temp is in the 20s. ☺
