Man it's windy...had to chase down our garbage can lid. Can't find one of the other ones, must be in the pond across the street.
Today's Weather in your Garden - 82
just under 1 1/2" of rain. I was able to weed for an hour in the garden & just used a sweatshirt for warmth. Cold front tomorrow, but warmer on the weekend. Wind picking up, can here it.
Can't believe it's 55 degree's in the middle of Nov., in the State of Maine at 7PM!!!!
BTW....NOT complaining!!
Wow!
went to get a haircut tonight in a t-shirt and jeans - too warm
Yeah - feels weird. You know we're gonna get socked with a real cold soon.
Well we have a severe weather advisroy until 7am, the winds are pretty rugged. And the cold we'll get socked with is just around the corner!
"Tomorrow night: A few clouds. Low around 25F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph"
Ouch! Just went out with the recycles and almost ended up in the Hudson!
Yes, wind is gusting 45-50mph at times...DH threatened to "tie-me off" when we were outside covering the boat. LOL
Upstairs with the computer now. Can hear the wind howl!
I don't blame him Celeste, I thought it would blow me into the path of an oncoming car yesterday
It's still pretty rugged here but not gusting as bad as yesterday. It's 43 with winds out of the West at 15-25MPH.
Much calmer this AM. Clear and 48. Nice day ahead and nice stretch coming up.
Sun is out, seasonable temps at 45 degrees and the wind has become variable from the west. High temp should be in the mid 50s. Colder the next few days and below freezing at night.
Pretty day here too. DH just went out to go scalloping. Hope he gets some today as, sadly, the season has been very sparse this year which is really bad for the local economy and my tummy. I love them and now since Monday, I am allowed to eat solids again so I really want some for dinner. He no longer has a commercial license, just a family one, so he can only go out once a week for personal consumption. He dives for them.
I am heading out to do some yard work, but only a tiny bit. I was given Doctors orders to take it easy. Ha. Patti

Good news, Patti! Hope your DH gets many scallops! It's 45 here, sunny, going to the low 50s....may rake some leaves....having a fenced yard means keeping your leaves in the yard even though everyone elses blew away yesterday!
Yay Patti!!!! Enjoy the fresh air but be good!!! Will cross my fingers for a good haul of scallops today. ^_^
mmmmmm, fresh scallops...here's hoping for a good haul!
49°
I hope he gets some for supper Patti and you do what Doc says. Too bad a low crop of scallops. I did here there has been an explosion in the number of oysters in the bay by Newport this year though.
Hope the wind at least blew the leaves all to one area for easier recovery Robin.
DH struck out on getting any scallops. Too windy and the water too stirred up to see dive for them today. So he will be home shortly to help me in the garden. I would have loved having some tonight. Patti

too bad patti
Bummer. Wow - your hubby is very active! That's great.
Had a passing shower this am, now it's 50 and trying to be sunny.
55° here on this Thursday, winds from the West at 9 mph, humidity down to 36%, mostly cloudy.
- Going down to 36° tonight with a windchill of 33°, clouds breaking up overnight.
Weather still great, but I am pooped after a couple of hours outside cleaning up a bed. DH came out and we moved an apple tree that self seeded a few years back and is now over 6 feet tall. Of course it was totally in the wrong spot. He also moved a Hydrangea paniculata Pink Diamond and a Cotinus coggygria Golden Spirit as they were crowded. He then moved an oak leaf hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia) that was not right for where it was and one Hamamelis for the same reason. Musical plants. Patti

So much for taking it easy!
A little bit of drizzle but cleared up
Robindog, well, I was half good....but I am feeling better than I have in a long, long time.
DH had to have scallops tonight, so he went to one of the shanties that had some from a dredging scalloper who could go out today and bought some. I didn't ask the price, but I can only eat a couple so we don't need many. Patti
