I also entered a few, but I had never entered before, so it was new & exciting for me.
Coffee Break # 47 - Getting close to turkey time
i did not enter - never have up to now - no time to sort through pics and post them.
Of course not Bill you're too busy with that gorgeous yard
I entered some but then reviewed and thought why did I use that one. LOL. Should have spent longer sorting through pics I guess. It was fun for the first time. It is kind of intimidating with all the great photographers here at Dave's. Just look at like a fun thing I guess.
thx jen:)
pat do not underestimate your photo skills - i've seen a lot of good pictures you posted - hope there was a catagory for the pot heads!
Didn't see potheads but did notice a pot plant.....think it was in the annuals. Gave me a good chuckle!
Weird about that 'mystery missile' off the CA coast. Either we really did shoot it and don't want to admit it, or it's China or Russia shooting from a sub. If it is one of them, that's a very big incident since it was so close.
What??? I don't even know what you're talking about.
missle off the California coast--evidently away from land.
I vote North Korea
Don't think they have subs.
Let's hope it was us.
Now they're saying it might just be a jet trail. Doesn't look like to me.
... they have subs

Yeah, but the hamster died.
they dont care. (lol)
- reminds me of "The Bedford Incident", with Richard Widmark & Sidney Poitier ...
I went to begin voting but my browser is acting up again so I can't load pics. Annoying.
I'll send you a direct link to all of mine to make it easy for you.
(lol)
Hee hee!
Victor, did you take any photos of lightning this past summer?
Those are always impressive.
No real good ones. Not a good year for it.
WC, I am perfectly willing to sell my vote for a nice lens!
I figured that, but you have expensive tastes...
Hee hee!
Today is my wife's birthday!
Birthday wishes from WC! ☺
A very Happy Birthday to Mrs. Victor.
Thanks!
35 years ago the Edmund Fitzgerald sank.
This still will not make people quit.

Difficult to quit an addiction. I grew up in a smoking house, but never started myself.
A very happy birthday to "Mrs. Victor."
And now...
A TV trivia question from the 1960's, inspired by the birthday of "Mrs. Victor"; she probably has a good measure of patience.
On the classic black-and-white TV show, "Dick Van Dyke": an episode found "Rob Petrie" (Dick Van Dyke) stumbling across a secret bank book his wife Laura (Mary Tyler Moore) had hidden in a sock drawer.
When Rob finally confronted her about the account, she said, with complete honesty, that she was saving the money to buy him a special gift.....
Trivia question: what was the special gift?
Hint #1: All 6 billion of us on planet Earth would probably like to receive it for a birthday gift;
Hint #2: It's bigger than a breadbox.
Unreasonable, unrealistic & silly to expect people to quit smoking cigarettes because of ads & warnings. People will quit a habit which gives them satisfaction if and when they decide to quit regardless of the hazards.
ba i watched that show - no idea
"wha":
If someone doesn't come up with the answer in the next several hours, I'll explain the episode, the title, and the birthday significance.
I don't leave fellow Nor'easterners flappin' in the wind.......not my style.
Oh man - I remember that episode! Can't remember the gift, though. That was a great show - fantastic writing.
I'm sure someone will remember the episode...it had Laura's (MTM) famous quivering soprano voice "confessing" to her generous secret.
Used to watch the show sometimes, but never paid much attention to it. More into Batman, 'The 4pm movie on ABC', Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Star Trek, etc...
Ugly confessions: I can quote dialog from the original "Star Trek" for just about all the episodes (or at least I could, 30 years ago).
I ain't proud of it, just the facts, sir.
(p.s.: "The Twilight Zone" show had so many young stars in their early years, kinda' worth sitting through a 30-minute story that could have been told in 10 minutes.)
