Psalm 100 (King James Version)

1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Neat Susan!!!!

LOL LOL LOL LOL Jaye it's obvious you haven't met my mom. She was dead serious when she said that, I've been hearing that song and dance since I was 5, and no she's definitely not bugging me for grandchildren. YIKES!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I chose Psalm 100, because I was searching for a prayer for Thanks, and that was the first one that popped up!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Linda - you can update the "prayers for Susan" part - Evelyn & Leo are doing fine, my nephew Rick is back to work after his stroke and doing well; Sale of the trailer cannot happen until I get a job..........; my sister Alice is doing a lot better now that she knows she has to wait for the healing from the surgery last Jan, until 1 year from surgery date. That's 2 more months. She was waiting until 3 months total, and was impatient LOL

Sue, I had a partial hysterectomy and have the same problems. I even had surgery to fix the leaky parts, that was big sham!!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Watch out for full hysterectomies too, things don't have other things to attach to anymore so they fall out about 20 years later, I know 4 people that has happened to now.

Stacey I am all over your blog, I love it! What a great idea to make life easy for yourself, I saved it in my favorites.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

When I had to have a hysterectomy, I told 'em "take is all out" cuz Cancer runs in our family, and I didn't want to have to deal with any "female parts" going bad.......
Another time I had my bladder lifted, cuz my pelvic bone was leaning on it. Talk about "leaky parts".......... All fixed now!! These are things that are so embarrassing for women!!

INNER PEACE ^__^

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me today - we all could probably use more calm in our lives.

Some doctor on television this morning said that the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.
So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, a pockage of Prunglies, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valum scriptins, the res of the Chesescke an a box a choclets.
Yu haf no idr how bludy guod I feel rite now.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

^_^ Cindy, that is so cute! Now what can I go and finish???

I just realized that my baby is 2 MOS OLD today!! OMG-where does the time go-I just count days as feeding hrs-LOL

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Online briefly--computer connection not good. I haven't been able to read everything but I do want to send my sincere sympathies to tink and Janice on their loss. My heart dropped when I read that post. Love and prayers to you and your families.

Cookie, same goes for you. Heart is very heavy today with all the sad news I have read here. I love each and everyone of you.

Now Flamingo Kim and BJ, what joy it was to see you posting. I have missed you both so much.

Things are in a turmoil, hectic and right now Sue and I are as stressed as we can be and still function. Mom is improving albeit slowly. The problems now are with the "red tape" involved with her financial issues. Short version: we were told Monday her medicare payment runs out today and what were we going to do. Frantically tried to figure out how we could bring her home (no ability to stand, walk or feed her self) spent several sleepless nights only to find out they will keep her Medicaid pending. Of course a bill is running at $350.00 per day and if she isn't approved then......................

Care meeting with staff yesterday only to be told we had comprimised her care and recovery by the doctors she has used all these years. Sue and I know now just how low a "snake's belly" is. Somewhere along the line someone called Hospice without telling us only to find out she is not Hospice qualified. No diagnois of terminal disease. Other than being unable to get out of bed, she is doing extremely well for her age. I think we are now caught in a "red tape struggle" and can't seem to find the end to unravel and correct.

Please keep the prayers coming--we all need it.

Love you guys!!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Marion, sending you lots of prayers, and (((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))
It is awefull how one can get caught in the mess of the red tape!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh I know about that red tape, sending you, Sue, and mom lots and lots of hugs and prayers.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I decided I have the worlds stinkiest kid-as I sit her typing he is farting and it smells like I just drove by a farm!!LOL

(Chris) Des Moines, IA(Zone 5a)

Stacey, that shows he's healthy! lol!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL!!!!!! Stacey that's hilarious!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Morning ladies !!!!

Marion... please get some rest... you're going through so much right now... my prayers are with you and your sister.

Cindy... I laughed so hard I peed my pants... then I emailed that to some others I wanted to pee theirs. Miss you sistah...

Yep, Stacey... that was me... I don't get emails either... but I see when you post on FB. It's great that you're including us with Jonathon's growing up.

Well, the taping, bedding, and texture is done... and now, I have 3 days to get it all painted before Don's next days off... we'll be taking up the carpet, some of the subfloors, and replacing some subfloor while he's off... guess we'll do the trim last... from what he said this morning.
So, I'm off to the paint store to get started.

The bamboo flooring arrived, and is now stacked in our living room... ugh. I'm really really pleased and shocked at the same time. I hate to order stuff online sometimes because you don't actually get to see it in person. I trusted the description of the flooring ... and got just exactly what I expected. It's just beautiful... can't wait to see what it looks like after it's laid.

Kimmy... did you get your carpet installed? I know it's going to be so beautiful when you're done.

Ok, I'm off to the paint store... will check back in another time... but if you don't hear from me... not to worry... I'm just off getting high on paint fumes... LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

BJ, hold on, we can all come over for a paint party, and smell the fumes together!!! LOL! ^_^

Don't work too hard!

Rushville, IN(Zone 5b)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

One weather channel says possibility of frost, and another says freezing!! So, I've been hauling my behind... still got a lot to do.
This year, it's a tight year for garden budget, so I'm working the 3 acres all by myself. Can't depend on Kel for muscle help, so thank God for the hand truck.
Taking a break for the game and then off to do more work. I do take breaks in between.. my garden buddy is always with me :D

Sissy70, it's good to know your DH's improving. I know you'll try your very best to keep his spirits up.

Sis Cookie, Marion... my heart's heavy too for you both. But I know He will provide ways for you both to manage.

Sistahs, keep on chatting.. I'll just be lurking and post when I can.

Love y'all.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm hanging in there...

My heart goes out to you and Sue as well, Marion....isn't easy, is it?

Stacey....time flies when you're having fun! Soon he'll be smiling all the time. 4 months is really my favorite, cause they learn something new everyday and smile all the time....plus, they don't scream when someone strange to them holds them.

BJ....so glad to see you back and staying with us...now where is Phyllis?

Okay, Lisa and Colby both did fine with their surgeries yesterday. Thursday we go to the surgeon to talk about what's to be done with Mom. I'm trying to stay upbeat...I got outside for a little bit today.

(((((Hugs to you all))))

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Cookie, that must be a big relief there to know that Lisa and Colby are doing okay.

BJ, I don't do Britney Spears sistah!! Lolol...

Oooh just in time to see a TD.. and now back to work!!! Darn..

drinking hot apple cider with rum , its yummy . only one though.
kids are watching Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
Ric and Robyn liked the chocolate fruit rum cake. so i sent some home with them.
well not much else
have to watch what i eat since i m not working as much these days and no outdoor play time :(
snowed a bit last night and its still 40 outside brrrrrr.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Yikes Sue.. more soup if you want to eat more!
I think I spoke on another site that I believe now that I have sleep aepnia.
Woke up choking and gasping for breath.
But I rather do an alternative treatment than going to the sleep center and doing the machine thingy.
Got some valerian as suggested... I'll see tonight whether this will put me in a good slumber.
Of course, got some extra pillows to elevate my head more.. couldn't find a body pillow, but will try to stay on my side, like I did last night.

LSU won... happy me!!! Not missing church tomorrow, got a heavy responsibilty to go to the altar for all of us.

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Jaye, Wal-mart usually has those body pillows...hubby has those sleep problems, Dr. suggested risers, only on the head of the bead...we have not tried yet, he sleeps with extra pillow.
I wonder if one of those triangle shape cushions would be good??? expensive tho, I have seen them for $25.00 but would be worth it if it helped get a better sleep...
