Thank you for your kind remarks on Justin. Yes, he is a "looker".

I do worry about him, very much. He "usually" sends a little something daily on FB so friends and family know he is OK. But there are times when he goes out on missions we don't hear for days. It is especially hard if you hear of a tragedy over there. He is right in Afghanastan....in the bad area of
Tarin Kowt. I know, from Justin, how much love parents feel when they adopt a child....you don't have to give birth to have the unconditional love.

Certainly don't Debbie..don't need the paperwork either! Know Scott is in a dangerous place as well; as soon as you hear of a death of one of ours your heart just stops.

You are quick, Susan thought you were to have shut down the computer so you could sew without being stuck on computer..lol..no can do?

I'm using my phone, so the picture is small. Is he Army? Is he on a 12 month tour? Sometimes they're 18 months. Waaaaay too long. Those long tours are notorious for breaking up families. Very sad.
My husband, thankfully, isn't deployed at the moment. We're stationed at Robins AFB, Georgia. We just moved here in June from Eielson AFB, Alaska.

Cathy just e-mailed me and said she felt the furries were more hers than mine as she's always at my place feeding them while I go galavanting..lol

Betty - I Finally thought of the sewing term I was thinking about - BASTING....... duh!!

That's called multi tasking, did they ask you in the interview if you could multi-task and did you ask them if you could keep up with DG?

Greg called and asked if I could pick up parts for him in Barrie and save him a trip so said I would, now if I can remember to go there before heading home tonight..mind is not like it once was.

I just had leftover roast beef...made a sandwich with it!
We were in AK for 4 years. We tried to extend, but...extension DENIED. Bummer. All of us miss it and we miss our friends something awful. Another crappy part of military life.

Maggie, I had to laugh. I have taken two of those "facebook quizzes" for when your bored out of your mind. Both told me I should live in Alaska! lol Always wanted to do the cruise to there.

Crissy & Betty both. Pick your brains here. What was the name of the restuarant we ate at.....was it on Bourban Street? The rib place? I have a friend going down there this weekend....and wanted to tell him to take his wife there.

I think it's called Blues City Cafe, HOWEVER Debbie, I like Rum Boogies better. We didn't go there because it's at the other end of the block, same side of the street though. B.B. Kings has really good food, probably the best, but they're pricey.

Thanks, girls. They had so much fun that night. I must admit....I was jealous that MOMMY couldn't go! Mom's weren't even allowed in to take pictures. :( I think I had just as much fun planning, shopping, and getting her ready though. I can't wait until the 2011 ball....I've already been shopping. I reminded Keith that Learynn won't even be walking by then and he doesn't mind. She's going too. Double the shopping & getting ready fun for me!
