My sweater girls.
This was before I pressure-washed all the bricks. All the gunk and moss is gone now.

Apropos of Nothing v.20
Nice photos Willow!
Nice photos I agree. Yes the hospital provides the site. It is great for me to see daily Charlize's progress. Today was met with some tough news as the biopsy results have given a less than favorable result with Clear Cell Sarcoma. This keeps her there and puts radiation on her plate too. We are looking at 15 months of chemo plus radiation. I am only down because I know what she has waiting for her. But I can only thank God for the lessons our family will have through this battle.
The little brave girl has a wonderful support system to help her through such a difficult time. Remember Steve, you can vent your frustrations and feelings here and we will all support you. Let us be your punching pillow.
You know I feel no need for a pillow. I am so blessed to be given this challenge to know that I am loved by my creator to have the opportunity to be involved with this blessing. Thank you for your understanding of the pain but be thankful for the outcome for the ending. You are a loving person Judi and I love you for the love!
OK Steve, you just made me cry!
Hey Steve, thanks for the news, as I had just last night been wondering how Charlize and your family are doing.
bless you all....
>> I am so blessed to be given this challenge
I think that the most unarguable aspect of Divinity, fate, the human condition or whatever is how generous the universe is with opportunities for us to learn and grow.
I hope, in combination with her family's support, it contributes to Charlize becoming a strong and beautiful woman who can take whatever life throws at her with style.
Corey
Lynn & Joey, you are both just radiant ! Congratulations, and don't feel guilty about happiness. What a memorable Thanksgiving.
Congratulations, Lynn and Joey! What a sweet photo... *sniffle* :)
Lynn
You guys are gorgeous! Best wishes. Henry looks Happy
Lynn, what a lovely couple you make. I think it is even more special to be married after knowing your partner for a long time, and knowing who they are, and who you are with them. I love your outfit!
Whoa....so much going on here!!
Charlize is so fortunate to have a grandpa with such a wonderful attitude! Children are so resilient when it comes to these things and are an inspiration to those of us whom have lost that "innocence". May God be with you and your family during these trying times.
Congratulations Lynn and Joey....I was just about to offer you my DHs services to get you hitched up. Beautiful photo!
Linda, We were going to ask you if he would do the honors. But then we didn't want to impose on your holiday season. We wanted to get married before the end of the year.
Congratulations!
Lynn we both rejoice with our blessings! Congratulations to Joey for getting the best! I love you both and am pleased with your union. You are truely ONE now and the blessings are awaiting you. I love you two Joey and Lynn! This is the battle site for my Charlize. We do not want to make this site her story. Follow it here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1143632/

Lynn, I am so happy for you and Joey (and Henry). That is an absolutely beautiful photograph! Your love for each other just shines in your eyes.
Lynn, what a wonderful way to celebrate Thanksgiving! Congratulations to both of you!
At least now Henri will be legit.
^_^
Judi, that was great.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Steve, my heart goes out to you and your precious family. Please keep in touch. if your daughter needs any help, please give her my phone number. 253-205-5861. Love you, too.
Oh, Lynn, Congrats to you and Joey!!!!! Blessed be your union.
Yes I think your onion should be blessed too. Then chop it for the salsa you are preparing. Oh I read that wrong. LOL
Did any of you read about making the sun printed silk scarf instructions? Looks like fun. Any of you try it. Says you need young leaves so i guess spring/summer would be the best time to try. On the opening page Dec. 5th. Oh and Sun late spring for sure.
Yeah it's probably not for Christmas gifts, is it? At least not in this area, maybe elsewhere....... But I saved that one, looked not too difficult and like it would make some good things pretty easy. Maybe make in summer for the following season's gifts..... hahaha like I can plan that far in advance. :)
Have not been on here in a bit.
Steve, I am sorry about your GD. You are in my thoughts.
Lynn, congratulations!
I went to the water garden forum but I am hoping for some advice from some PNW friends here.... anyone ever make a pond out of an old hot tub/spa? I am thinking about doing this in the spring......
Thanks!
I have saved this article about pool to pond conversions. I thought it was very interesting. It may work on a hot tub/spa as well or give you some ideas.

Well my GD learns today that she for a while will be 2nd fiddle. Her brother will be born today! Leia my daughter will have Csec at 9am this morning.
Sofer, great joy to you and your family today.
Lady FS, I have an acquaintenance who did the hot tub to pond conversion and it looks great. I had my doubts when he first started digging an old pink hot tub into his front yard, but it looks very nice now. I'll swing by and take a photo to post when I get a chance.
A most happy day my GD Charlize is happy hugging her new brother! All is good in the Soferdig family! My daughter is good and the family is sooooo happy!
Steve,Congratulations! It's time for some joy in your family's life.
Congrats, Steve and family!
Bonehead, I would LOVE to see the pics of that hot tub conversion! Thanks. Cindy
Congratulations to you all, Steve. And a warm welcome to your newest family member. :)
AWWW, baby hugs are the best medicine. Welcome to the newest soferdig family member. What is his name?
There's nothing like a new baby to bring joy. That new little life has already brought happiness to his sister. What a nice holiday gift!
