Hey Judy, have a great week-end! I am flying out next Friday, and will be home on Sunday, Halloween!

Why did I think you always drive LindaKay??? Does it make it easier to fly back with your dad ?

Home just in time to hollow out for the kiddies..

Driving from Texas to Washington would take me a week, flying is done in a few hours! He does pretty good on the flights, it is the getting him down the narrow aisles, that is the hard part. They are not handi cap friendly for sure!

Have a safe trip LK. I know what you mean about the narrow aisles.....

Don't they provide seats in the very front rows for the handicapped? odd that they wouldn't. Is your hubby going with you? Means when he's back you'll have less time to play!

Sun is starting to shine, no more visible signs of the white stuff in the pines..can see it's warming up. this weekend I believe will be off/on rain, when talking to Greg this morning told him I needed him and the 2 boys for 1 hr. to help finish what needs to be done for winterizing..said he'd pop by..

Very seldom can we get front seats, as there are sometimes several handicapped person, or the person printing out tickets just refuses to make someone move!

That's terrible, there should be some way when booking that you'd be able to get a seat designated for you..

Went for my interview this morning, and asked when they'd make a decision "by end of next week" Then I asked what my "standing" was and they said, based on answers I gave, I am a strong candidate.
4 weeks vacation per year.......!! Then they asked the "64 dollar question" which I didn't like, and they said no one does:
"What would you expect for a remuneration"...... I told them a joke about the last time I was asked that, then asked for $5k more than my last job. That's likely low-balling myself, as it's an Executive Assistant position...... but, I'll find out on Friday.......

btw - the building Isn't where I interviewed (25 min drive away), it's 5 MIN drive away - they're moving buildings!! how kewl is that????

Stacy, her due date is TODAY! Can't get more on time than that!

Brittany just called Shannon (my DD) and said "get up here, now before I kill my mother". SO, Shannon is on way up....with my camera.

No baby yet....I have a feeling she might end up needing a C-sec. Like I said 6 weeks ago the sonogram said Kylie was about 6 lbs! SOOOOO, Shannon is there....cell phone and camera....so I should get more updates.

That means nothing Debbie, I knew a lady who gave birth to 4 kids, all between 10 and 11lbs and she never had any drugs for any of them. I told her she was nuts! LOL!!!

Crissy....you now know two women that did that! lol No drugs with mine, except the one induced ...but nothing for pain.

The doctor told Britt that if she had pain killers, it slows the labor down, so now she is afraid to have them. someone should slap that doctor!! I better not go up there! Poor Brittany....she has her Mom, sister, 2 grandmas....the babies Dad & his mom....Britts brother....all up there. Shannon said 12 people....and she tried to leave and Britt wouldn't let her!

Bless his heart, it was 'Tubby' I managed to get his telephone number and called, he's in good spirits and Shirley is a sweetie. She'd have to be to have another lady call on her hubby now wouldn't she..they send their love!

Debbie, you didn't say where Brittany and Kylie will be staying once they leave the hospital..will be checking all evening now for update and who knows, maybe a photo or two..yikes, Jonathan might have 2 prom dates!

Was going to Ann's but when calling to find out if Mike might be in bed she said he was resting, seeing as her laptop was stolen and her regular computer went on the blink today, she'll come over to check her e-mails on mine..never rains but it pours..

Was to have done groceries but think I'll wait till morning..off I go for a bath, jammies; looking forward to staying in them the entire weekend..

Betty, as of right now.....Britt will be going home to her parents house. That poor girl. She already has her older sister & boyfriend, unmarried with two kids living there along with the parents....and they all smoke. Not good environment for a newborn. Sister had her first baby in 11th grade I think. Right now, we have Michael here still....and the rooms are all full. Mike is fighting like crazy to find a job as he will be laid off from the golf course next week....season over.

EEEEK!! There's no way I'd have a baby without an epidural, gas mask, something!

Yikes, smoke not the greatest for an adult let alone a newborn..guess not a lot of options for her..guess we sometimes jump to conclusions as to the parents involvement, must be hard with so many in their house just when it's time that these youth should be starting life out on their own..

You must be finding it long waiting for news..thank goodness Shannon is there with her!

Ann dropped in, having a heck of a time she is, says Mike is feeling a bit better today. Noah dropped in for his first fitting on the Michael Jackson outfit I'm sewing for him as a Halloween costume..so nice, never a time he visits that I don't get a 'love you grandma' makes it all worthwhile doesn't it..

Back to sewing, more I do today, less I'll have to do Sat./Sun.

Update: Contractions are back to back...Britt wants her out NOW. We have an "Angel" there. My DD's friend ..also a Carrie....who's kids were flower girls in my Carries wedding...is Britts midwife! SO, I feel 100% better now!

Betty, Britts older sister is now 27 or 28....and should have been out a LONG time ago. She moves out, with her kids and BF...and within 3 months is back because they can't keep jobs etc.

Oh I think there is a HAPPY BIRTHDAY getting ready to be sung...

Britts labor "stalled" earlier so they put her on pitocin....nasty stuff!! SO, she is VERY close...contractions one after another with the Pitocin....

Poor Shannon felt so bad there were too many people there....some just friends of "the mothers" that Britt didn't even know....so Shannon left. Jessie (the daddy) is texting Shannon with updates. Should be any time....but I still have a feeling she might end up with a c-sec.

Waiting along with the rest of you, 7:40pm...shall we say 11:10p.m.???
Well Michael Jackson is almost ready, few finishing touches, need Noah again before I do them..going to call it quits on sewing any more tonight..

Do you know how hard it is to sit in this chair and not go over there? Lordy, there is enough chaos for that little lady.....but, I will be there tomorrow!

No, going to bed wouldn't work.....but I am ready too soon! DH is watching all his "taped" shows from the week. I think Shannon went back over to the hospital. She and Michael were going to the store (I think for a Teddy Bear) and then I believe she mubbled going back to the hospital.

I am still thinking there will be a c-section....at which point Jessie needs to go to the waiting room and be the "kid" he still is, and her Mom step up to bat.

Why do you feel there will be a c-section so strongly?

OH! PS: May I VENT! I am fuming ! Come home after work... exhausted... and next thing I know over 20 people and teens are at my house taking homecoming pictures. Would have been fine if I had EXPECTED it but no one bothered to tell me anything... Then DH comes home and is on phone with work, DD actually leaves her people to pick up someone else... I don't know half these people and had to cancel my plans for the evening....Meanwhile I'm running around trying to keep Belle from jumping on everyone.... UGH UGH UGH !!!

8 lbs 1 oz.......a very nervous new daddy is texting...so trying to get the story!

Debbie how exciting for you all, know you had a baby shower for Kylie, hope others were as generous and the baby will want for nothing!
Wow, Kylie was quite the size, guess they didn't do the 'c' section after all?

Mary, you know how you can take a photo and put it as your screen savers, well either my BIL (boss) or son Jeff, went to all our computers and found photo's on the web and put them on our computer monitor..

Mine was of 2 aged gentleman, no clothing, sitting on a bench smilling and looking down at me..you'd think after they worked a full day then on computer upgrades till 1:00a.m. they have had something better to do!

Yikes Mary, I'd not have been happy changing my plans such as you had to do, think they'd better get lessons in proper manners, must think of others before themselves..
