that reminds me there was a huge bull moose crossing daniel webster hwy and trotted through are car dealership in nashua when i went to bottle beer a weeks ago - they is a heavily populated area.
Miscellaneous Shots - Part 7
I've seen many moose after a few beers.
:) this was before and i did not see it - missed it by 5 minutes - lots of folks taking about it!
I hadn't heard of him before, and did enjoy the moose pic.
The photo was great....I'd love to to be able to photograph birds, but they're difficult....especially warblers that won't stay still for a second. Had my binocs today when I walked Suey...she's yanking the leash, the bird is hopping all over the place...sheesh!
heehee
very nice shots Victor
Just a beautiful spot....yeah, you wish, Victor...didn't know Mercedes even made a car like that!
very nice victor
In your dreams!! Great pics!
Hee hee - thanks. Actually, I do not have the typical American male lust for cars. They're nice, but I think of so many better uses of money.
Funny, Victor. I am waiting for the Z28 convertible next year...yeah baby!!!
I like the Porsche that carried the camera!
Nice rides!!
Do those people own an iron at all?
Hee hee. The wife changed more in each pic than the kid.
The first pic of her kinda scared me.
The three of them look like they're a couple of fries short of a full order.
Check out this movie.

Wow - check this out:

Yep, the technology is limited by the # of pixels the computer can process in a reasonable amount of time w/o locking up.
- We had a modern scanner come into our store for demo use with Adobe Photoshop in the early 1990's, the commercial scanner was about 4x3x2 feet and about 300lbs, (latest model), scanned one 35mm negative in 30- 45 mins depending on the quality you wanted and photoshop always crashed with commonly used Intel 386 based machines. Still pales in comparison to silver nitrate at millions of pixels vs billions of molecules...
Loved the wedding photos.....way cool! I'd enjoy being there! WC, very nice photo.....just as I like the beach....empty!
Yes - very nice when the beach is deserted. Is she a good caster?
Thanks, yes, after labor day the tourism drops like a rock here, exclusive seaside resorts, bed & breakfasts & very nice well kept motels lower their rates drastically. We take advantage of the fancy restaurants in the Hamptons which lower their prices up to 50% in the off season. The beaches are relatively empty from now until May, a few intrepid souls, (usually surf fishermen), like ourselves on the weekends, but not many..
I usually cast out the bait for her but she can fish with lures quite effectively, almost as far as me..
Understandable since it's about 5-6 ounces of bait & weight you have to cast over the breakers, I'm taller and use a longer rod for bait, - too long for her to cast, but we each have our own rod and she brings in her own fish. ( I get to take the hook out of course, lol!)
No special creative shot here, just a cell phone shot to log a nice time, shows how empty the beach is... "nada" (lol)
How far are you from NYC by car, WC?
From NYC it depends a lot on traffic, usually 1.5 hrs from the Empire State bldg @ 70mph on the I495. - about the same time it takes me to get to Yonkers when I visit the in-laws. - It can take up to 2hrs if there's traffic.
Takes me less than an hour to get to the Hamptons and 1:30min to get to the Montauk Lighthouse if traffic is good.
According to Google I can make it to the Hamptons in less than 3 hrs! Hard to believe.
