Miscellaneous Shots - Part 7

The thundering was fairly loud.

There were lots of place where the rocks made a hole that dropped down several feet to the river below.

This one was big enough that I could of easily fallen down thru. It was deep and dark enough my flash went off. Made me wonder how many kids or pets fell through?

Wide enough for me to walk thru...Brians shoulders wouldn't make it. LOL

Leaving that area and heading to another we saw a log home with a gazebo attached. Brian says "Look Dear...just what you need on our new house!" Yup, it is....only I need bigger!!! LOL

Entering 'Step Falls' area. This one was a good hike into the woods.

After about a half hour hike on a very well maintained path I finally see the water...

It's got better as we climbed.

This was the hardest on Brians foot as far as length trip/hike and he had a bad cold so we never made it to the top.

The rocks were smooth, like a cool slide!

Until to see how and where they drop of to!

But doesn't it look like you could slide right down it? WEEEEEEE!

One of my favorite shots, this is the amount of mist coming off the falls.....can't tell you how many times I had to wipe my lens!

I really loved this place, it had so many beautiful things surrounding me that I just keep taking pictures.

These were growing all over one side of a huge boulder....very neat!!

The tree's were lovely.

I'll go back one day and do the entire climb as I found this place very peaceful. You could almost say it spoke to my soul, I was sorry to leave, one last look........

Very nice series, I want the house on the hill!!
It looks very relaxing, almost like I was there.

The roar of the water was thunderous here and I was lucky enough to capture a small rainbow in the water.

On the way home, beside the road...Brian spotted this.

I still have over 100 shots on my camera from fall foliage and later bloomers. I was hoping to get out more but have been putting the YARD to bed, what a mess!!!

Just got the new book called, 'Captured', by the famous wildlife photographer, Moose Peterson. Looks real nice! Great tips in there on any outdoor wildlife stuff, including birds.

debi probably knows all about any writer named moose!
