I usually cast out the bait for her but she can fish with lures quite effectively, almost as far as me..
Understandable since it's about 5-6 ounces of bait & weight you have to cast over the breakers, I'm taller and use a longer rod for bait, - too long for her to cast, but we each have our own rod and she brings in her own fish. ( I get to take the hook out of course, lol!)

No special creative shot here, just a cell phone shot to log a nice time, shows how empty the beach is... "nada" (lol)
