Miscellaneous Shots - Part 7

Love the old buildings, good they are keeping them preserved. Did you see the ancient buildings collapsing in Pompei?

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

shame about the Villard, that huge disrespectful hotel behind it really adds a damper.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No, did not know about Pompei. Sad.

Thomaston, CT

Beautiful buildings! Hate the modern looking ones. I belong to the local art group, & when our paintings & photographs come down from the town hall gallery in Feb., the next theme is town architecture....well, I'm a botanical painter....cannot even imagine me doing town buildings!

Jumper from the game last week. The sea of cadets is focused on him - he's bringing in the game ball!

Last - the doo wop group, Silk City, belting one out. The guy on the left doesn't look Italian, does he?!!

(They're all swedish!)

They look like they're really into the music...wish I had a decent singing voice, I envy them.

Glad you enjoyed the game, Victor....do the boys come, too? Or would they be bored?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The whole family goes. My older one loves sports. The little one so far has no interest whatsoever!

Thomaston, CT

That's OK....everyone has to develop their own interests, or we'd be clones of our parents....Doug & I loved sports, Garret played soccer, basketball, & tennis in high school, but his heart wasn't in it, & now he never watches any sporting events.

flowAjen:

I love the waterfalls, especially with your son....you might want to frame that for a shelf, not just kept on the computer.
