Partly cloudy here. Nice and cool. Feels like fall!
Today's Weather in your Garden - 80
Wow - tornadoes in AZ!!
WOW, good thing my sil and bil came back from AZ
It started out beautiful today what the heck happened??? Now it's all nasty
WooHoo...sun! Came out of the mall where I met my friend for lunch, & felt like a mole....of course, it was still raining when I got to my town, but by the time I changed & got the leash, the sun was here as well........
Still wet & chilly. Just under 4" of rain over the last 3 days.
Very comfortable & dry here. 61°
It started raining about 3 hours into a 5 hour bluberry/lilac transplant! :(
Still raining but not really that cold out just damp, 50 at the present time.
Just had a brief shower. Supposed to be a nice day and the start of a string of great days. 55 and cloudy.
Same here....no shower, but damp & breezy......
Sun is out now but getting very windy.
56°, wind WSW 12mph, windchill 49°, mostly cloudy
- wind picking up slightly
Mostly cloudy but the sun keeps trying to poke out, but not much success so far. Temp is 57 degrees again and the wind is light from the NW.
Nice and sunny but windy 69°
68 and sunny, off to the barn soon. I hope to be able to ride.
cool & breezy Nice day for the topsfield fair ( & seeing the mounted ride.) After 4 days of rain everyone is losing money.
Topsfield Fair attracts the "Big Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
biggest pumpkin this yr weighed over 1600 lb.
I wonder what they do with those big pumpkins? Pumpkin pie, or pumpkin bread?
those pumpkins are so loaded with chemicals to get them that size they could kill someone
I think that they are grown for seeds, certainly the 'inside' is too tough to eat.
Yeah, but what a yummy way to leave "this mortal coil."

This what we do in Maine with our "BIG PUMPKINS" ...it's being held this Sunday.

I was going to say... that one guy is cheating.... using Styrofoam
LOL
Creativity involving produce and water....gotta love it!
And who says Cinderella couldn't have a pumpkin coach?
They also do pumpkin chucking. ^_^
Hope they stand clear.....killed by a flying pumpkin....now that's an obit.....
Here's a lit bit of info about the Pumpkinfest & Regatta:
Highlights of last year’s festival included a big parade complete with Maine’s new record pumpkin weighing 1,210 pounds. Can't wait (or should I say weight?) to see how much this years big pumpkin weighs.
Dessert Contest , pumpkin painting and carving judgeing and of course....
Pumpkins of various sizes were thrown, hurled, shot, and dropped thanks to record-holding punkin chunkers and catapulters, and a 150-foot crane taking aim on a retired police cruiser! ^_^
You want any info on giant pumpkins ask Doc on the MA forum

Clear as a bell. 55. Looks like a great day.
Same here....going to the apple orchard with a friend.....hope yellow jackets aren't too numerous...I was stung yesterday, & the swelling is finally down. The YJ was on the inside of my car door handle...went to open the car...zingo! My neighbors heard some creative words.....
Fun pumpkin stuff you guys. Love to see and hear about those sorts of fun activities.
Finally a morning with actual grade A sunshine, yippee! Seems like a long time since that has happened. Should be nice all holiday weekend too. Chance of frost however saturday night, not so good, but it is after all leaning towards the mid of october so there it is, the time is fast approaching. Present temp is, yep you guessed it 57 degrees. It should climb up to around 70 though so good news there. Wind now is fairly light from the west but should get a little gusty later today.
Nice day, if hubby gets home at a normal time we'll be doing a corn maze
You mean corn maize?? ^_^
61 and mostly sunny, but a bit breezy.
Have fun Jen, my DGD love them!
Little Rock hit 90 for the 115th time this year! And I complained about thirty-something days. That's nuts.
68°, wind WSW 4mph, Rh 39%, clear
Gorgeous day. 73 and clear. Nice breeze.
It was a great day! Didn't go into the orchard to pick, because the bins in the orchard store were full of fresh ones.....so I tried lots of varieties.....Melrose, RI Greening, Northern Spy, Jonathan, Jonagold, Rome, Baldwin, Mutsu.....
