Oh gosh, forgot to tell you, We are all going to the Cottage this weekend. We are hosting the Ghost
feast for Bear...My Brother said we aren't suppose to have one every year, so i said well thats ok we will have a feast anyway!
My gosh, we haven't all gotten together in a couple years sooo come on down and lets just play!
He's been sick so not sure if he'll make it. But my other brother and family is coming. Nephew & family, BIL and Niece and Family.
The weekend is so suppose to be excellent weather wise...

It is my Thanksgiving this weekend so lots planned, just did my grocery list here in the office, omg, need something to do to keep me awake.

GRRR as I type I'm on the telephone with my mom...does that tell you something?

Judy, how wonderful that you'll get to celebrate this weekend at the cottage Ghostfeast for Bear;won't be many more weekends left before the snow flies up there.

Like you and LindaKay, I've done a lot of sewing, anxious to get my Christmas material from Joann's next weekend and get the placemats done, would say that in another 3 weeks I won't have time to breath let alone sew, so it's now or never.

In this American quilts for Christmas book, they have a sampler done up of various blocks so I think I might follow how they put them together for my throw to be made up from the quilt blocks you all sent me.. the one that is shown is stipple quilted, could do that with my machine, another project I don't want to leave much later to be done.

Darlene called me this morning from my house, dropped off 4 pieces of wood for the Recipe books we had Mike make for us, Ann is going to do 5, we are going to try for a couple evenings a week to do them together in hopes of doing so we'll work harder to get them done.

I have about 3 workshops slated starting mid Nov. - have a few ideas but decided to wait until I go to Hamburg N.Y. 1st week on Nov. to see if something really says ' everyone would love to do this!'

OMG Betty, your head will be swimming soon! But you always seem to be in the right gear for the Workshops! Ohh, i hope you'll find the perfect craft to create..Can't wait to see.
Thanks about Julia, will tell her...I kind of was eavesdropping on their conversation on moving..It won't be for a little while. they have to save up on Rent, but they won't be too far away only about a half hour just closer to work, plus it gives me sometime to come to terms, lol..

OMG, OMG...just before picking up Breenie, Got a call to Do a complete application for a Job at UPS!! It's not the admin job, and it's only temporary now until end of the year..So will complete the app, which I thought I did, but then that explains why my social wasnt requested. Was just a preliminary app...The job is for Package handler (what Julia was doing) Fast paced, able to lift up to 70 lbs, yep I can!! And it's 15 minutes from home! hours 5-10, so I can still cart the kids to and from school. But hey, it some money coming in...and who knows maybe They will like me enough to keep me on...

OK gotta take julia to school, see you in a bit!

Well, we have him home and he is adjusting OK. I think the different sights, sounds and smells are making him wake upo a smidge more than usual, but I am sure he will be fine:) Of course we are taking a ton of pics-LOL. He is snoozing in his bouncy right now:)

Also, some of the peeps I have emailed the link to the hospital pics want to order some, so if anyone else wants any, just email me and I can giver you prices and what not....

Will you have Jonathan in your room at nights? Was Chris home to be able to go with you to pick him up? so many questions...

Betty what kind of crafting ideas are you looking for? I am going to a Apple festival in PA this weekend there will be crafts there and I can look for something interesting if I have a general idea of what you need. And getting some honey crisp apples yum yum.......

Betty-no way-he has his own room and will be sleeping there;) Mom is down in St Louis and Chris started his vacation yesterday, so it was great timing for his coming home.

Thanks Everyone!! So far things have been going OK. He has been eating and sleeping well and has been getting loved on as much as we want;) He is fascinated by Ruby our pug-I think as much by the hairy creature walking around as the snuffling sound she makes;) Neither of the animals are all that excited about him. Of course Ruby has to try to get in between us and the baby as much as possible and wants to sniff everywhere he's been, but she really doesn't want much to do with him directly. Jade the cat is a little skittish around him when he moves or makes a sound-she is a fraidy cat. My mom made it safely and of course fell in love with her grandson at first site. She fed him and he slept on her spending cuddle time-it was too cute!! Chris doesn't work at making him eat his last little 5ml or so of food, so he woke up early last night and needed an extra small feeding. Chris took the midnight and 3am feed (which ended up being a 12, 1:30, and 2:30 feed) and then I got up at 5:30, thinking he would feed at 6, but he was ready to eat B4 I even had his bottle warmed....so tomorrow I will get up a little earlier....

Stacey he is soooo beautiful . I bet all are happy to be home together.

I can't get over how much he looks like you! Both of my kids had the nerve to look like their father when they were born....Lisa looks more like me now, but then...all you could see in her was HIM!

Debbie, got to tell you a story, this morning I almost chocked, spit my coffee out and started to laugh, funny that Rose didn't come in the living room to check what was happening...

Newacaster said 'keep those old atlas books people' ears perked up, 'a woman was following her loyal GPS ended up in a swamp, car sinking quickly, had difficulties getting out' omg, was too funny (not for her) but all I kept thinking of is being in Bev's almost backyard, lost in 6 to 10' corn stalks, cow paths, airfield and not being able to find our way out...one has to wonder how safe is following a GPS!!!

Laura, I do workshops, primitive high end things, something that a non-painter/non-crafter could do, last year I found this in Hamburg and we did over 40 of them..Kyle did 2 for his other grandparents...

Last year in Hamburg there were 3 or 4 I was interested in getting but didn't so am sure I'll find something..oooh in PA, you'll have to give me more info, might be something I can plan for next year...pick up Debbie and meet you there..where is it near????

Betty it is in Arendtsville Pa.This is our first time for the festival but heard wonderful things about it people at DH work go every year. Will let you know what they have and try to take pictures. It is close to Gettysburg that is how we found out about the apple festival during a camping trip over 4 July.Thank goodness no rain in the forcast...

Yes Betty I wil check but during July they do the battle reenactements every-one dresses and has a role they play it is awesome to see and visit the battlefields and such.

Sounds as though it would be an educational outing! We have in Penetanguishene the Naval establishment fort that does same as well as the Fort Ste.Marie which has been re-built and each building has been created to reflect days of old. hmmm trying to remember who did what, Crissy, did I take you to Fort Ste.Marie amongst the Hurons when you were here?

Sharon my sister just called, she is off taking her teen daughter to a funeral, sad that 2 young women who were in love felt the need to end their lives together through a suicide pact.

So many confused young people, breaks your heart doesn't it!

Betty, did you finish your medicaitons for your infection? I am just wondering if your headache is associated. Get some fluids in you woman, you need hydration for several weeks after going through that type of infection and antibiotics.
