Fall ordering is getting short and the dreaming and planning will commence shortly for spring. Post your selections here.
I do not usually plant a lot of things in the fall but I just ordered a honeysuckle serotina for delivery this fall. I waited too long last year and they were sold out so I took the plunge.
All the fall bulbs ordered or bought yet? I have not got out to purchase any yet myself.
What have you ordered or would like to 2010/2011 #10
Very pretty honeysuckle, Pat....I can see why it was sold out. I bought 'White Surprise' caryopteris from Avant, along with 3 white per. geraniums.....
well big weekend here for purchases - this is miss grace, three other people offered them the same deal i did taking no chances i grabbed it - it is a specimen. also picked up a golden shadow dw and a vib from them, then stopped at another nursery and got a witch hazel arnolds promise and another sunshine blue caryopteris.

Really lovely....glad you jumped on it....
Very nice one, Bill!
thx marilyn and victor - it is about 5' tall - was surprised 3 other people offerred my price to him - did not want to get shut out - the bonus was i went to get my first oil change and it was going to be a couple hours so the dealership gave me a highlander to use :) good thing this filled it up.
love that HS
Very fabby wha.
Moved a self-seeded white phlox to make room for the honeysuckle yesterday, so all ready to plant as soon as it arrives. Can't wait to get a whiff of it's fragrance next year.
Bill I can see where the name comes from with the graceful shape of your new tree. It's a beauty for sure.
Robin I like that caryopteris you ordered. If I could only find a spot to squeeze one in somewhere. What white perennial geranium did you get?
thx pat - from a distance i looks like it could be a jm
i forgot to mention that i had to go to hd and get some bags of dirt for all my planting on sunday - they had all the fall bulbs out which were hard to walk past - picked up some white double daff's, hyacinths and reticulated iris harmony - had already ordered hyacinths and harmony from coops just could not walk past.

I desparately need to make a trip to Rona but have been delaying cuz of the irrepressable, iresponsible urge to get more bulbous things. I wonder if those blinder thingys horses wear might work?
So hard to walk on past the bulbs! Pat, Avant's emailed & said the caryopteris was sold out, & they'd ship in the spring. Can't remember the name of the ger. I'll look it up.....here it is...St. Ola.

The little violas will just wait patiently cuz at some point in time you will NEED to see how prettiful they are. They are even more prettiful because they are on SALE. They are MORE prettiful clustered willynilly with blue and white brachyome. Here is the blue. I shall find a pic of the combo in my garden
