Today's Weather in your Garden -78
your dance is working here... been steady rain for over an hour
Glad to hear you got rain....no more dancing? GOOD, Im pooped-out! LOL Might have over done it a bit as we had downpours off and on all night here.
Looking nice out there. Got 0.2 inches last night.
65 and clearing.
They are looking into Tornado's in NYC and Ohio!
Yes. My friend's wife and daughter were near the woman killed on the Grand Central.
get up and dance celeste i need more rain!
Rained a lot last night, now it is just misty at 74'
Glad they are ok Victor.
our rain total was .62"
sun is breaking thru the clouds right now high of 80° expected
I'm tired!!! LOL
How's the forecast there for tomorrow, Bill?? Will be great here.
In case you're not keeping score, there is now a new official term. The 'greenhouse effect', which became 'global warming', which morphed into 'climate change', is now 'global climate disruption'.
Oh brother!
weather for tomorrow is 73 and sunny
Reading NYT every day about the tornado
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2010/09/17/us/AP-US-NYC-Storm.html?_r=1&ref=global-home
must have been just awful
WOO HOO!!!!
ok, just to clarify the "woo hoo" was NOT for the tornado destruction
There was enough rain to fill my rain barrel....awful in NYC....I'm so terrified of tornadoes, & can empathize with the folks who witnessed it.....recalling my time in the basement this past July......the dogs & I couldn't stop whimpering....
Between 1/2 & 3/4" of rain last night. No predicted for today, but I felt a few spinkles when I was cutting hosta leaves this morning & it is very gloomy.
Just saw some pics of my cousin's car smashed by branches. Luckily no one was hurt. Scary.
Wow, close strikes to your family.
That's terrible Victor! So glad to hear your friend's wife & daughter are okay. We are waiting to hear from Hank's brother and wife on Long Island. Very scary weather!
Sounds like a perfect RU day, Bill! We'll miss you, Victor and everyone else who can't make it this time! We were supposed to go to Conn. today, and then from there to Bill's tomorrow, but with Bailey and all of her meds and care arrangements tomorrow, we had to bag the plans for today. Sometimes you just have to keep it simple! The sun is coming out here right now. With company coming for the day on Sunday, I'm sort of glad to just be around here getting ready today.
Thanks. Have a great time tomorrow. Will be wonderful. Look forward to the pics. Make sure you get some group photos!
Time magazine was duped yesterday and posted a 1976 photo of a tornado in the same shot as the Statue of Liberty. Duhhhh.
Surf's up in Bermuda!

Glad your family is OK, Victor...a car can be replaced! My stepdaughter & husband managed to get the 4:00 train out of the city, so they made it home without a problem.
Are you sure it was not purposely 'duped' Victor?
Thanks, Robin. That is what I told his dad.
That's possible, Maria.
Victor - hope you enjoy your family reunion tomorrow!
Thanks, Louise! I'm sure I will.
Beautiful weather here too, clear sky at 68'
Isn't today wha's RU?
Hope the weather stays nice for everyone.
weather was great!
Hope there are photos!
Great day here as well. Cloudy start, but a great finish. Had a nice turnout. Easily over 70 people.
Now it's 61.
Victor - was the family reunion at your house?
No - in a park in NJ. I could never deal with that many people!!
I don't think I could either Victor, glad you had good weather
oh by the way us Jersey girls decided the spring RU should be at your house Victor
