We all know what snow looks like. Perhaps it will keep the turkeys out of the garden here, but we don't want it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice day. 72 and mostly sunny.

South Hamilton, MA

72 here as well. In the 50s earlier when we got up.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

We had a lovely day for the visit from 4 of our Florida neighbors. I was afraid it would be too cold to have lunch on our back dining porch, but it was just perfect! What a great weekend all the way around! 60 here right now.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Bummer, - got another chance though, tomorrow is supposed to be nice too.
(at least in this part of NY...)

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Very lovely fall day. Our breakfast for our friend was quite festive and then we sat outside and let the girls run hard and wrestle in their restricted new area. There's still a lot of room so they can get up to top speed. We have a frost warning tonight. Eek.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow! And we are expecting 85 here on Wed.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Wow! Good day for a kielbasa cookout!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

most folks burn kielbasa on the outside i am told.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I like mine to burn on the inside.

South Hamilton, MA

sunny & temp hit 70. DH did outside work as I was typing an internationl median robin. Just over 3 pages & that takes time for me. So did grocery shopping later than usual.

Wow - Jupiter is brilliant! And with the binoculars, I can see four smaller dots in a straight line next to it - must be its inner moons.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Brian took the spoting scope out and BIL brought out the telescope and WOW!!!!! You can see the four moons , two on either side perfectly!!!

Edited to say im a bit chilled but im feeling rejuvenated...so worth it!!!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - really cool! Didn't expect to see the moons so easily.

East Bridgewater, MA

We have too much light pollution in this neighborhood, so I hope someone snaps a great photo of Jupiter and posts it on the internet.

If anyone knows of a website, please post it. Thanks

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Yeah, it's hard to get the moons on a pic though unless you compromise and get Jupiter 'blown out'.

9/7/2009 - have to try for a better pic this year...
