86°, wind N 15mph. Rh 36%, partly sunny
Today's Weather in your Garden - 76
At the day high of 87 now. Only 31% H.
Another top tenner today, made more special when a couple I taught with (who've been living in FL for 20 years) stopped by on their way to the Cape....they'll be staying in town tonight.....haven't seen them in about 5 years...too long.
That must be the nicest thing about teaching - seeing your students years later.
Not always....have seen many of mine in the police blotter.
Ouch! Hope they didn't call you for bail!
Has anyone seen a longrange winter forecast?
I am weary of looking on the web for information. Tedious ads for equipment seem to dominate Google.
67*F @93%, going to 88.
JoAnn, I haven't seen any woolly bears yet, so no forecast yet! LOL Ric

Thanx guys.

Have a great day everyone...I will!!
Sunny with a high of 78 today. ^_^
Have a great time, Pixie.....63 here, going into the 70s as well....heading up to the farm to babysit. I've seen 2 wooly bears....both had broad brown stripe, & narrow black stripes.....warm winter?
Enjoy the lobstah !!!
Do you actually believe long-range forecasts, Jo?? They're lucky if they can reliably predict tomorrow.
i need to have a couple lobsta!!
I like the green tomalley & the lobster roe.
77°, wind ESE 5mph, Rh 63%, partly cloudy
Claw meat rules!
Did you know lobsters can be "left handed" or "right handed"?
... except for Caribbean lobsters. (lol)
Yum, one of each, please!
A lobster restaurant owner said that most people throw out the thin, spindly legs because getting the meat out is labor-intensive, but you can get the meat out by taking a glass (or empty beer bottle!) and rolling it on its side over the legs.
He said it's the best part of the lobster (?)
Yes, very sweet meat but labor intensive is right....unlaee it's a 5lb. lobster. ^_^
A 5-pound lobster would be dinner tonight, and a sandwich tomorrow!
I bought my husnabd one for his birthday...he ate the whole thing, then groaned! LOL
Love the lobster.
started out sunny today, rained all afternoon. DD says it's still raining at school tonight.
yummmmm, glad it was partly cloudy today, was outside at a dog show
Calling for rain tomorrow...we'll see
what a wonderful sound to wake up to.... RAIN!!!!
I am looking forward to that sound some time today too and for a good long soaking rain. Dark and cloudy this morning but I will not miss the sun if we get the predicted rain today and tomorrow. Present temp is 65 degrees and the wind is blowing from the west at only 5mph.
Yeah getting some light rain already. Really need this.
75°, wind ESE 3mph, Rh 86%, light rain
Occasional light rain! This is very good, (both for the plants and my water bill).
Yes. Got some overnight and getting a drenching right now! 0.8" so far. 71 degrees.
63F Soft rain all night and so far off and on this morning.
76*F and raining, soft and steady, also had a shower last night. Guess I'll have to mow again before we leave for the Outer Banks. Ric
just a steady sprinkle here so far - still have the sprinklers going
Another downpour - yay!! One inch so far.
Rain rate is currently over four inches per hour.
WOW - already passed 1.5"!!
poured here before as well
Victor! are you gathering all our rain? Leave a bit of water for us. there have been a few sprinkles & we are not allowed sprinplers.
Hee hee. Been long overdue. Seems it kept missing me during the entire summer. Currently at 1.96".
Wow - another torrent. 2.5 inches.
