Hopefully, the last "over 90 degrees" session for this year.
You younger folks, don't scoff: I can remember many years when the "over 90 degrees" days extended into late summer.
Today's Weather in your Garden - 76
We've got warm weather predicted for here tooo
80 on Sat.
88 Sunday
88 Monday
89 Tues.
These temps reflect highs at the coast...inland will be much warmer. I live inland to far to benefit from any ocean breeze. :(
mid 70's here and sunny. lovely evening, finally got to ride my horse today. DD is away at school, so now it's my turn.
nice
Pretty day. 71 and sunny. Hot weather returning again for the weekend, though.
69°, wind WSW 0.4mph, Rh 90%, partly clear
Rain ended a little over an hour ago here, got half an inch more rain overnight, clearing skies now.
We also got rain...sunny now, & low 70s....going up to 80....perfect weather for gardening, but I'm running hither & yon again today.
72 here today.
sun is back out 81° 56% humidity
Gorgeous day and I've been inside all day. Totally zonked. Could not sleep last night. Got maybe one hour. To rub salt int he wound, after getting up about 8 in anticipation of the tree guys coming, I get a call about 10 saying they're backed up and can't come for a few weeks! Oh well.
79 and sunny. 43% H.
weeks?!
Hopefully there won't be any windy rainstorms from here till 'then'. Maybe they're waiting for it to get cooler so they wont have to work in the heat. (lol)
I don't like this 20 degree jump though, would have been nice if the temp gradually got warmer but nooooo, finally got my last sedum in the ground in the hellstrip, it was downright toasty in the sun
I found 80 difficult to take after our 60s. Did get some weeding done until the sun moved into that bed. Dug up a miniature tall iris plant which has to go to OK. Hope that it doesn't find that heat too much.
Yeah, tell me about it. Sep 14. They said the weather and Labor Day, yada, yada. Hope no more branches fall off!
Oh Lordy...the weatherman just said the Northeast needs to keep it's eye on tropical storm/hurricane 'Earl' as it has the potential to make land fall on LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!! NOoooooooooooo
Still a good distance away & they often change course.
Yes, that's a long time. Three days is a lot in forecasting hurricane tracks.
yes, I do realize this....but it's just my luck lately!!
I'll start a new thread.
88*F here in OBX, and something wicked this way comes. Earl is on his way, this time tomorrow may be rather exciting. LOL Ric
Good luck!
