SUE! I need to see that little girl!
Kathy just called and they got home fine. She's not feeling very good, thinks she might be getting sick. It might have been my coffee...she hated it. :o( Said it was colored water. How come you guys didn't complain?
Yeah, we were sorry you couldn't make it too, Sue. It was brutal at Waynesville (Antique capital of the midwest) so hot and humid. Kathy found a birdcage she really wanted. It was stunning antique mahogany wood and it looked like a castle. She wanted to put love birds in it. That would have been so cool.....the guy was so short with her when she asked if he'd take such and such for it. I don't blame her for not buying it....rude Buckeye man.....
Michael was ready to get out of here....he said he was afraid he'd get Ohiotitis. Hummmph....
She is SWEET! How cute. Hope she feels better soon. Did the vet say when they could operate on her?
I think she's adorable...and after all, she is a PUPPY, ya know!
Hello - here's yet another thread I losted!
Well, I found you now!! You aren't gonna get rid of me that easily ^_^ (J/K, y'know!!!)
(((((((Tubby)))))))) missed ya, bruddah!
Sue - that lab is so adorable! big paws?? Missed the name, and I'm sure you told everyone, but...... male or female?
That's little Lucy....isn't she cute?
Morning Sistahs! (and bruddahs)
Morning,
Up and at it as usual but Mother Nature is not co-operating, highest humidex this summer, boo hoo, want to go finish my flower shed but there is no air to breathe so guess it's inside play today...
Off for coffee and breakfast, wondered why I'm so hungry, well, duh, didn't have supper last night..lol
Enjoy your day!
Sue-when Ruby was a puppy she wanted to chew on everything and what we found that worked was Bitter Apple-it has a squirter kinda like a soap dispenser and is a thick gel like substance that has to be rubbed on, but it didn't damage anything we out it on. It only took Ruby a few times of tasting that and she quit. Plus we made sure she had lots of toys. We put the bitter apple on electrical wires (yes she tried chewing those), books, etc....
Thanks for the compliments on the blankie-we both love it!!
Psst-MOM-his name has 2 a's and 1 o.......
It hasn't been super easy finding cute dragon stuff, but the stuff we have found has been really neat!!!

Lucy Lou.... I like it!
Stacey, did you ever get a picture of the blanket and booties that I made you?
Sue did she have a bladder infection? What did the vet say?
She's way too cute and the puppy stage is definitely trying because of all the chewing, but it passes and hopefully the furniture can be spared. I had a Samoyed when I was a kid and that puppy chewed up all of the furniture, but it was old furniture and I think my mom used that as an excuse to be able to buy new LOL!
I can't count the number of those little afghans that I've crocheted for babies, but of all of them....I like yours the best!
Crissy....Lucy Lou has a very bad UTI. :o( but so glad she's starting to feel better.
Now he needs a little cap to go with those cute things!
Oh no! Poor Lucy Lou! Glad it's something that can be taken care of fairly easily. Hopefully she doesn't have a continual problem of it and it's just because of someone else not taking care of her properly.
Yes, a cap! Those are cute!
Joyce-I don't think I have any caps yet....will have to look for some boyish hats-I think they are supposed to wear hats at first right??
Won't he look cute with it on sideways??????? ;o)
Yes, Stacey, especially since he's going to be born in OCT!!! He will need a hat to cover his little ears. Next summer for the caps...
Does he only need a hat when he goes out or in the house too??
Well, when he's first born they'll give you those little skull caps to keep the heat in. You'll probably want him to wear that for a little while till he's a few weeks old. Then if your house is cool, maybe after that, too, but if it's warm, you shouldn't need to have him wear anything in the house.
OK-thanks!!
Stacey, that blanket and booties are so cute, love those outfits too! Nice job Cookie!
Make sure you keep Johnathon wrapped tight for the first month or so. It makes them feel like they are still in the womb. He will sleep better, if he is wrapped tightly in a soft blanket. It does not have to be a heavy blanket, a recieving blanket will work.
Heed LK's advice Stacey.
The babushkas (Russian grandmas) and Asian grandmas believe in wrapping their granbabies tight the first month.
Yep, mum said we slept well that way.
LK & Jaye-I knew that;) That is why I registered for the snuggie things as well as receiving blankets. The snuggies stay wrapped well and better than blankets, but I read that you use this and not cover the baby with any blankets or sheets for the first few months-funny thing is, it never said why to not use blankets or sheets over the baby, but did give an explanation for the snuggies and burrito wrapping....
Babies wiggle around so much, that if you have lose sheets, blankets toys... they can get them to tight against thier face, and smother themselves to death!
OK for Jonathan not Jonathon? Get it straight as I have to know the right name of my grandbaby. Are you sure? Maybe I have to get busy on that baby wrap thin for you to hold the baby with. Got to hunt up that pattern.
Glad to see you're still with us! Sounds like a lot of "p"ing at your house!
So Sis...you going to post those pictures, or did they not turn out?
