Best/Worse & What did I learn today..visit with friends!

Baton Rouge, LA

Hello To All !

The Evening Shift is On Board !

Stacey - You are absolutely right....I WAS a bit put out on the puppy-puddle incident... just I've learned that I can't be the only person in the world to discipline and teach DD's.... SInce DH spent all last weekend steam cleaning the carpet was hoping he'll 'notice' what was going on...

I have been known to call him "Mister Oblivious".... Also - luckily .. my carpet is 'old as the hills'... Plans are in 2 years... Graduate the final teen ... THEN redecorate :)

RILEY IS BACK ! RILEY IS BACK ! I am SO SO Happy ! boy ...he and Deb's cat DO look alike ! Deb - I love when Shadow is laying on his back like that... Just shows we must be a good home for him to trust so much.... I do believe Shadow is enjoying puppy as well....

Betty - LOVED the old story of the Christmas cards ! How honorable of you to place them in the mail. How many kids would have thrown them away....

Yes - It will be interesting to see how Puppy treats garden. So far I LOVE how...she is so small she travels back behind everything. She treats the pond like her own little jungle...

Having the family over Sunday for DH and my "Birthday Party". I offered to have it here so family can swim. NO CLUE what we are serving... Wow... nothing like last minute plans...

DH Bday tomorrow. He wants a dehydrator. Bed Bath & Beyond? I'm thinking...NO CLUE why he wants a dehydrator.

Will try to pop back in soon...

Hugs,
Mary

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning everyone,

Again on the run, not because I'm up late but Cathy left a note yesterday saying that if I wanted my grass cut I'd best buy some gas..hmmm looks like rain today but if it doesn't, sure wouldn't mind my grass cut! lol so off to the gas station and should be back home for 1/2 hr. of sit down...

Lordy, just goes to show you how I don't look in the mirror much, went to comb my hair, lights were off in the washroom, passed by the mirror and I could see something on it..hmmm...turned on the light to get a good view, someone had pressed their lips to the mirror and wrote, 'we miss you'..lol too cute, wonder if it will come off??? oh well, could use a new mirror right...

Mary, dehydrator is for all the veggies right? worked with a building inspector years ago that he had an eight tier one and did all fruit and veggies for his winter..worked great..now to find one?

Ohhh birthday, what are you asking for?

Got to go..be back at 9

Victoria Harbour, ON

Back and at it, decided to cut 3 yards of flannel to see exactly how many blocks it makes that way if what Sharon has to work with on Saturday is not enough I'll drop into fabricland on my way home tonight to pick up more! 30 - 8" blocks out of 3 meters..marking it down here so when she calls me this morning I'll have the figures..old age, very forgetful...

Susan, I'm just so excited for you, if they want to sell it bad enough and not have to store it all winter they just might go for it..oh happy days, wouldn't that be something..I loved my r.v. - miss it..think if I ever had money to burn I'd buy another and get some travelling in...might even join you..lol..

You'll be watching the clock all morning anticipating when the call will come in...prayers that you get it..

Doesn't Sailor girl look fit and trim..maybe that will help her not pulling all her fur out..wish I knew how to color in 'red eye'..keeps telling me how but no can do..lol..

Off to sweep the floors and then to work..
Gab later..

By the way, now that I'm back it starts to rain..guess I did my gas run for nothing..

Sailor sure looks comfy now. He must have been having a difficult time with the unusual heat this year. I know that Callie, our cat, has not wanted to go out very much. She only goes out if one of us goes and then only for a few minutes. Glad you are getting the rain though. The fires this year have been bad too.
Off to sew..... Have a great day all..

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone!
Tubby are you up yet?
Seems like a few of you are up early!
Susan, good luck on getting the camper.

Ames, NE(Zone 5b)

Linda Kay

Yep I'm up...
Not that I fell that good
Off to Dr

Tubby

Victoria Harbour, ON

Tubby, hope the doctor has some answers and meds that will help!

LindaKay, you are up early as well..guess it's those little ones needing breakfast?

Barb, strangely enough we haven't had fire bans and haven't heard of fires in our region..usually notices go up warning provincial parks and the likes..had about 2 minutes worth of rain and then it stopped but it's sooo heavy outside, humid, everything feels wet..

Going to make a call to TimBrr Mart this morning, it's a hardware/lumber yard that I deal with, always in there buying something..well on Friday I bought the dehumidifier for $259.99 plus tax...this morning looked at a flyer and it's $199.99..wonder if I bring it back and repurchase if I can save $60.00 lol

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Betty-Sailor sure does look like she lost about 20lbs in fur!!LOL

Mary-you are nicer than I am-I would've thrown a bit of a fit over it to be honest....

Here is Ruby, or dog, snoozing on my lap this am-up for about an hour and already pooped!!LOL

Thumbnail by Fairy1004
Victoria Harbour, ON

Stacey, think we'd all better come back as our furries..did you ever see anyone so comfy! Ruby doesn't look like anything today will take priority over resting..

Think Sailor is a bit embarassed about being naked and is finding comfort under the craft table..Missy, well she's laying on the table taking advantage of all the sewing materials and Riley, well she must be leading a double life, couldn't wait for me to open the door this morning so she could be off and running to something more exciting..

Must when I get home tonight go searching in the side gardens, something just doesn't smell right, hope it's not a birdie..

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Betty - no time to phone-watch LOL
I'm going to TRY to get some expense sheets in, so we get paid our expenses on the 27th......... HAVE to be in by the 18th to get paid then. Would be nice to have our computer purchases repaid. (company pays for personal computers, and we bought one for Bob - but they don't have to know it's his. He gave his old one to me!)
Also have 5 Dr's worth of expenses to put in, and Boy do they spend $$ on educational stuff!!!

ciao! (I'll let you know if we get the camper, Betty, and you can come visit us in the mountains!!!!)

Victoria Harbour, ON

Oh boy/oh boy, get that summary done up..you need the bucks for the camper..any news...

Here I was this morning, packing up some of my craft materials so that if I do decide tomorrow is my last day - Friday 13th..does that tell you something, I'll be packed up..

Suzanne started to panick, said the telephone system was all but organized, for me to hold on .. lol.. said the new system will allow all the offices to be able to transfer calls via connection to computer, have a roll over system that if telephone is busy it rolls over to the next phone which could be in someone else's home and if I was on the road for the afternoon, main phone could be transferred to either my cel or another # I might be visiting...now tell me that's not nifty? lol/lol

Guess I still might be working!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Yes but on your own terms -- that's the best part..

Victoria Harbour, ON

Kind of excited..my thoughts are with the not driving in a blizzard kind ..that way I could be home to have friends over and enjoy part of the time that the girls come over to paint..miss them all..

Verona, ON

I'm with you Betty. Some of those drives in blizzards and/or freezing rain make you wonder WHY????.After 1 particularly bad storm (I live over a mile in on a private road that we maintain) I decided I would hang up my working shoes.
Excited for you Betty - you will wonder just how you got everything done before when you were working.
Dianne

Victoria Harbour, ON

Those Ontario storms can be overwhelming can't they Dianne, remember the blizzard day that Suzanne and I got hit by a tractor trailer..wow, only through the grace of God did we walk away, after that, on blizzard days Paul had us work from home..this will be even better..guess it's pretty much a done deal unless something is different with the system than what he thinks..

That's a big job maintaining 1 mile of private road..we had similar when we live don the lake..Roger maintained for a few years but then we (about 8 cottages/homes) chipped in and had someone do it for us..much easier...but, if you don't have to go to work, doesn't matter what time of day you do the road right?

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

Glad you are not going to have to drive in the winter anymore Betty. I was so glad when I retired and didn't have to. It feels good to just stay home but now am pretty home bound for a while except for Doc's appointments. They said the heart could heal the damage but how long I don't know. Only the Good Lord knows. LOVE you all BEV

Thumbnail by dragonfly62
TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

yessssssssss that winter driving in ON can be wretched!

Betty - haven't heard back about the camper yet.
It's not a summary - it's the actual requests, and each Dr gives me mega # of receipts and for different companies to send the requests to. Would take me all day if that's all I was doing.......................... however - I have other stuff to do, so could take 3 days lol

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Tubby, sorry your not feeling well. Hoping the Dr.'s have a fast cure for you!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Everyone, so glad that Bev posted, she's been having heart problems and must behave, she was going to take a rest from us as she has a lot to contend with but I begged her to let us keep her company through these rough time...

Bev, hugs and prayers going your way for Scotty and for you... I'm just thrilled that you posted...

As Suzanne was too busy to go for lunch today, we ordered pizza and I still took my lunch..new Liquidation Center just opened a few blocks away..omg could have come home with rugs/furniture/appliances and omg you should have seen the old fashion tub..drats..need a truck, but I did manage to pick up a few things..they had a suitcase with electric clippers and tools, same as Lydia used on Sailor last night ..her kit was $119.99 in 2007 and I bought almost same for $29.99 so am pleased..now if I can get Sailor to stay still long enough for me to keep her semi shaved it will help her itch..

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

Thank you Betty. This is not going to get me down. I almost did these last few days but I have a lot of things that I want to do and by golly I am going to enjoy doing them. I am not ready to leave my family and good friends yet. You all take care. BEV
Look at this little guy inside this daylily. LOL

Oh Bev, I think that is one of the most awesome pictures I have ever seen.

Bev, you know I have been having a rough time also, suffering through depression. If you ever need to write and talk...please do.

Debbie

Victoria Harbour, ON

You both have people who care and love you both..know it's overwhelming being caught in the 'depression mode' but lordy you guys have so many prayers and love sent your way, just know you have to feel it...

Bev, I'll second Debbie's comment about that photo, coloring is exceptional and look at that cute 'bug' now that photo has to be entered into the photo contest for sure!

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

Debbie, I have had much depression in my family and me all my life, so not surprised at the heart trouble. I thank you all for the concern and prayers, they do help. Betty!!!! Look closer. That is a tree frog. Ain't he sweet??

Thumbnail by dragonfly62
(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Sending warm gentle hugs your way Bev and deep serious prayers for your well being and that of your dear husband. I have so enjoyed your photos and don't want that to stop so please take care and know that we are all pulling for you.....

Victoria Harbour, ON

Wow, don't think we have tree frogs, never saw one that tiny let alone find one in a flower..what a find! Do you go out with camera in hand and inspect every flower? must do in order to capture such a treasure..

Trying to decide what to get into tonight if anything..my grass is cut, house is clean, what to do, what to do...

Hey Tubby, where is my word of the day..are you back from the Doctor's???

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Blocks, Betty, blocks. And they will be all done and I'll get to see mine!!!!!!

Glenview, IL

Hi Everyone.

Bev, Sending you Armwraps, I'm so sorry to hear you've developed heart trouble. Also, will keep you in daily prayers that it heals quickly.
What an absolutely amazing photo you captured!!! Always in awe of your work, I too am hoping you enter it in a photo contest. A large photo and framed, Wow! Please do take it easy, what better therapy then taking wonderful photos, you still get to be in your gardens and continue to partake in Nature.

Betty, Yippeee, welcome home Riley! Whew what a relief, lol he musta wanted to make sure Ned was coming back! Awe, I think Sailor looks excellent in his new cut! I hope the salve works well for him. Yikes, can understand his tearing out the hair, I wanna rip mine out in this heat as well, uhhgg. They keep talking about rain, but I haven't seen it for days now! Is Missy happier since Riley has returned? So sweet that animals have reflections of "loss".

Susan, Sure hoping everything works out for the camper!! How exciting, We used to rent an RV every now and again to travel with the kids, What incredible experiences...

My Goodness Tubby, sure hope you get to feeling better right away! Are you back from the Docs? I sure hope you didn't over do it.
Prayers for a quick recovery.

Mary, Mary...Got to sing today! Happy Birthday To you, Happy Birthday to you!!! LOL, won't be here on Sunday, (going to house)
How exciting, I hope your party will be at your house, would love to take dive in your awesome pool!! Makes me miss mine. LOL, I was giggling at your post about unseen mishaps, lol very convenient! I am forever hollering wipe that up! When Skittles drops, ROFLOL, but not really, the kids will look at it, even go ewwww and the walk away! I f i see that happening or even hear Ewww, yep Hollar clean it up.

Debbie, Major Mom Hugs to you!! I can so relate to all the running, the loads of laundry, the animals, Been feeling a little depressed myself.
Only cuz, all i ever seem to do is Clean, pick up etc etc...DH come home and wants to know what I did all day? Sometime I just want smack him, lol. OH, MY GOD, here is a good one for ya! Jacob asked me if I've washed his clothes, I said only whatever was in the laundry. He said, well i put everything in your room...Liz, if your lurking, you'll love this too. Anyway, I said no, the bucket is only half full. He says mom, its the stack of folded clothes on the floor, Well hit me in the head, I said well I don't wash folded clothes, amongst other words, So I said why on earth would you fold dirty clothes, folded to me means clean waiting to be put away....OK, a famous answer from Teenage nut boy! Proceeds to tell me, Well you always complain that my clothes aren't right, (inside out curled, etc,etc...oh and never matched socks, ROFLOL, he decided to make things right and match his dirty sock, as he put clothes right side out he folded them and put in a nice neat stack...LOL, they say there for 2 days. So how come I didn't wash them, I busted out laughing and said well geeze, I thought they were clean, said Er and Yiye, What did ya want me to do smell em? No way Jose, not me...Uh, his laundry is done waiting to be folded, I said since you did a nice job why don't you fold em and get em put away? He ran away saying no he folded them Once! OMG, and people wonder why i am nuts!!

Shaking my head...he was quite theatrical at the Doctors office yesterday! They fell in love with him, lol most people do...While I just wanna cringe. His physical is good so he can continue sports., My physical was good too, sigh gotta go back for the womanly stuff though...

LK, Yep, thanks i do love the birdie kisses! Skittles just makes my day sometimes...

OH, big news!! MIL is going to Cottage with us!! First time in 5 years, wow, can't believe it. She didn't want to because Wisconsin makes her miss her Sister, lost about 8 years ago...But I, actually talked her into it for her son and grandchildren. Told her how I miss Carol too. But her family is still here and she needs to see what they have accomplished...They have practically begged her in the past she always said no, so ....I hope it will be ok.

K, got to to get spegetti going.
Will be back in a bit.

Baton Rouge, LA

Hello To All !

The "Evening Shift" will commence! Judy has some yummy hot Spaghetti for us all... can someone make some garlic bread?

Stacey -Ruby is Precious! Does he realize that an addition to the family is on the way ?
I haven't always been that calm....believe me ! LOL! I've ranted and raved for so many years... with no results...

Mom always said "choose your battles".... Well... I'm down to maybe just one or two ROFLOL!
Judy That is hilarious about Jake... After the millionth time of emptying DD's laundry baskets....ONLY to find the (CLEAN) clothes that I had already folded mixed in with the dirty... I resigned from my laundry duties. I only do DH and mine now. Next Wednesday I will be 45.... DH bday is TODAY (46).

I wish you could ALL come to the party Sunday ! DH said he will do a Shrimp Boil if he can find some good shrimp. (Crawfish season is over). Betty - we could throw some hot dogs in there for you ... do you like spicy food ???

Hey Betty .... would a "cone" be a good idea for Sailor? (Quote from my favorite movie "UP" "I do not like the cone of shame" -- DUG). Just remember Mom had one for her pekingese that had a skin condition. Just until it heals.....

BEV! So glad to 'see' you ! Your daylilies are Fabulous! AND your pictures are SO breathtaking! You truly have a gift ! I am NOT a visual person.... DH has all that talent....

Susan ♪♫ - Keep us posted on the camper. Is it a trailer behind that pops up to a tent? I remember camping with my parents with one of those. I ALWAYS wanted to rent an RV and go traveling......

Debbie ! GIANT HUGS (((((((HUGS))))))) Please take care of yourself! Get some "Me" time in !

Well - I got the dehydrator for DH... I think he might want it for the herbs. Betty - I didn't think about veggies... Our garden petered out in the record heat....BUT I've never considered dehydrating veggies although I suppose it's done. Mom used to do Fruit...Bananas were my favorite......

I do want to get him one more 'surprise' present.... he is expecting the dehydrator. I might get him a Bat House. Anyone had one? We actually found a bat in the pool this year.... a baby. They are supposedly harmless and eat mosquitos...

Be back in a bit... HUGS,

Mary

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

no tent trailer for us cuz my company didn't give us the "retention bonus" they have for the past several years. Guess we got used to it - 2x/year.
Alberta Health took over the managing and budget of Calgary Lab Services where I work. All the union lab techs get the bonus, but all the "exempt" staff don't anymore (like Dr's, and support staff - of which I'm one, as a Division Secretary)......
I could have used it towards the $2k d/p for the trailer, but without that, we can't afford it.

SO - guess what we did tonight?! We went to Army & Navy & bought a huge honking TENT - Outbound Chalet (like a cabin tent) and my DH (at 6'3") can stand in it all the way around. It's a 10-person tent, so it has useable space Everywhere lol
It was only $200!!!! geeeeeze that's cheap! And tomorrow (when we have more time) we're going back and will get a screened tent shelter for only $149! Yikers - it's as big as the tent, and we can use it as a dining tent without mosquitoes!!

I'm actually really happy we're not having to pay every month for the camper, cuz this way we have paid for the tent and shelter, and owe nones mo' $$!!!!!!!
I'm really looking forward to the long weekend to go camping again ^_^

Tubby - how are you? We haven't heard from you since you said you weren't feeling well, and going to the Dr.........

Judy - So nice that your MIL is going to the cabin with you. It's one more step along the way to the next stage of grieving for her sister.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Mary-I don't think Ruby gets that she has a brother coming soon-she just knows she gets yelled at when she steps on my stomach. Jade, our kitty, knows something is up. We have most of the stuff we've gotten for the baby in the living room (which we don't use too much) until the room gets painted and she is always laying on the stuff and getting into it trying to see what all is there. I pick my battles too, but that one would be important to me. If I yelled at DH for everything he did that annoyed me, I would never stop yelling!!LOL I would love to have a bat house-they are great for the environment, but too many and the guano can yield health risks. Was the baby one dead??

Judy-that is too funny about the folded clothes thing. Chris does this thing that drives me nuts-two actually. When he goes someplace (like a couple weeks ago he went away for 5 days for work) when he comes back he just dumps everything in the laundry and when I go to sort it some of it is still folded and never worn-why do I need to wash clean clothes?? The other thing is that he will lounge in a Tshirt and his boxers on his day off. If he runs to get lunch, he puts on a pair of shorts for the 10 minutes it takes to get to, go through a drive thru and back home and then puts the shorts in the dirty laundry. To me, those shorts aren't dirty-I mean he wore them for 10 while sitting in an air conditioned car for peets sake!!LOL

Susan-sorry about the camper, but glad you found good deals on the other stuff!!

Bev-LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that pic with the frog in it. I have a frog themes bathroom that pic would be cute in!!

When I worked in Detroit, driving in the winter was one of the things that caused me great anxiety. Since I had to be there by 5:30am, the plows don't get out that early or have just started and sometimes I would have to leave my house by 2:30am to drive the 45 miles since I would only be able to go 30 MPH or less. I would be white knuckled the whole time and was causing myself so much undue stress. That was in fact one of the reasons I quit. If we were forecasted to get a really bad dumping (at least 6") I would switch with the other gal since she lived 10 mins from the office. My old boss thought I was "passing the buck" as it were and told me I couldn't do it any more. This was at the same time that she would call and say she would be 30 mins late due to the weather and she too lived 10 mins from the office. The sad thing was, I only switched with the other gal maybe 3 times a winter and the boss was the ONLY one that minded.

Betty-I don't think I would mind coming back as a well loved furry, but I would NOT like to lick some of the places they do while cleaning;)LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone! Stacey, your up early today. Johnathan keeping you awake?

Tubby where are you? Hope the Dr. did not put you back in the hospital for something? Waiting for you to give Bettyer her word for the day.

Speaking of which, where is Betty? Are you sleeping in today?

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

no-my hips falling asleep, my bladder and sinuses did that to me....might take a nap since I am already sleepy....

Victoria Harbour, ON

drats, just wrote a book and all of a sudden, zap, into cyberspace it went..not happy!

I'll do a few mini posts so it doesn't happen again...

LindaKay, no I didn't sleep in this morning, was up early, thought I'd make tomorrow a little easier with Sharon my sister coming over to learn rag quilt technique so I took the 48 maroon squares that I cut for her and sewed the 'x' on each square and now at my desk I'll do the ragging, that will surely make things a little easier..

Then I had time for coffee and got out the flyers that were delivered last night to see what sales were on..of course, you know me, 1st flyer I pick is Canadian Tire..didn't they have one of those raft boats you sit in which are regularly $99.99 on for $29.99 trying to get rid of them as not to store for the winter so packed up and left 1/2 hr. early and managed to get into Canadian Tire when they opened..then had 7 so I bought some for the boys..will make great Christmas presents..Kyle/Noah are often at grandma's cottage and camping so they'll enjoy it, Braedon and Caleb also have a cottage so even though they drive boats they're alway fun to play with..ie. dumping each other out..came with oars...I'll be happy when I get christmas wrap so I'm not tempted to give them gifts before christmas..lol

Susan, sorry you didn't get the camper but you seem thrilled about your camping purchases and going out for screened in tent..now you just have to plan and wait for the long weekend in September..lucky you...
if you don't have a boat to bring along then maybe you should be at Canadian tire getting one of the water rafts as well, could even get some fishing done providing of course you don't get the fish hook caught in the rubber OR you'll be in big trouble!

Judy you had me so laughing..you have to give Jacob an A+ for his efforts in trying to please you..am so glad that MIL might be going to the cottage with you, she'll be amazed at all the work her boy did...have you and Steve been showing her photo's, am sure the kids have been telling her all about it..

As for washing, it's something that I keep us on, most days I do 2 - 1/2 loads..easier to keep up with it than having it become a chore..
Roger couldn't understand why I would wash a towel after he used it, said he just showered, now he was clean, so why not just hang the towel..was funny, was on a 3 week vacation in Texas the year he passed on, came home and found he and the 2 boys excited as can be to show me they simply washed, dried themselves, hung towerls on the bannister and all that I had to was were those 3 towels! Not my thing, but when you leave them to fend for themselves you never know what they get into

Victoria Harbour, ON

Mary, know you were concerned about where to find hubby's present, did you have to go searching a lot or was it in one of the local stores...you didn't say, did you by any chance go and remove all the 'found' posters you put up? lol..too late now, he's yours and as it was stated, how does a person know when someone just says, it's mine if it is or not? Big article in the paper I read this morning about finding homes for puppies from a mill..put the article down before reading the entire thing, no more doggies for me..speaking of doggies, Sailor's both sides and tail seem to be healing..someone must have been over yesterday and put cornstarch on them as well, not sure who...and, happy days, my grass was cut again so this afternoon as I think Paul left instructions for us to leave at 1:00pm I'll get the weeder out and do the cleaning up areas..took a few minutes to walk the gardens this morning..got to tell you it's all but finished, sad time of year! Note to self, purchase more fall flowers...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Stacey, what time do you work today that you get to have another nap or are you off today? get a kick out of you young ones with your 'hubbies' do me a favor, today give them a kiss/a hug and tell them how grateful you are to have them in your lives, sure do MISS being able to tell my hubby that...hindsight is 20/20..so many little things that had absolutely no need for words i.e. pick up socks, now comes back to haunt me..what I wouldn't give to be able to pick up 10 pairs of socks and put them in the laundry..

Stacey, when will you start your painting? when you are no longer working..wow, living room must look like a full furnished baby's room..won't be that long before Jonathan is here with you...animals will adapt, just wait until he's crawling and grabbing for tails..lol and NOT for the areas I hope you made comment on which made me spit my coffee out...

LindaKay, do the grandchildren go home today or are they still with you for the weekend...are you tired out yet?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I took them home yesterday Betty. It sure was a fun filled week I had with them, they were so good this past week, I never had to raise my voice to either one of them. I was very proud, and how well behaved they were.

Victoria Harbour, ON

That's always nice isn't it..you hear such horrors of misbehaved kids that when you spend time with yours and it's an enjoyable experience you know you just have to have done something right with the parents and they in turn with their young ones..now you can rest..what do you have planned for the weekend?

My plans just changed, my sister called and seeing as I get off early she thought she'd come this afternoon and that way it would free up her weekend as she volunteers at a hospice and they think they may need her tomorrow..

Victoria Harbour, ON

Susan, here's photo of rowboat that Canadian tire has in case you are interested...

Good morning

Worried about our Tubby, haven't heard from him since he went to the doctor.

Bev, morning Hugs...I have a picture for you but I have to figure out how to load it. New program DH loaded for the camera.

Betty, I have been loosing post left and right. I am SURE it is not us. lol So glad Riley is back, she still coming back after going out at night now? She knows Ned is gone.

I feel like I am on a tread mill that goes in circles.....constant headache with the swelling. BP is Ok and normal. Just have to get used to this diet. Heat has finally dropped a bit....so hope that helps.
