What a fabulous collection!

Ge - you won't be dissapointed with Milkshake. I've been deadheading most of my echinaceas as they get brown/black or faded away with the summer's heat. Just unsightly to look at. But Milkshake, most of those blooms were still from June, They last forever.

Victor - what's JB? Just kidding!!!!

I guess I'm just lucky we don't have any major insect infestation. No JBs, none also of the dreaded red lily Bs.
The only thing we have are earwigs. More of an annoyance than a problem. I trap them making a home-made trap of a solid plastic(not see through) food containers with a lid, holes in the side and some cooking oil inside.

Here's a new bloom on Bodacious dahlia. Still njo sign of the red coloring. This one is yellow-orangey blend. First one was pink-orangey.

Donnie - My heliopsis been flowering since last month, but I chopped the heck out of it. The foliage were getting rusted and got mildew. Don't want it to spread.

Nope Victor! Nada! Wait, I lied. I got ladybugs though. I'd rather have a colony of those than any other beetles.

Nice. That cage must be getting tight!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

you have no idea... they love to come out and run run run... every few days we let one of them run loose with Lily... seems to be great bonding time... rather than all 7 of them attacking her at once... the lady who works at the vets office... she is the groomer.. is coming to look at "a couple of them" this week
