Thanks Jean ^_^

Flowers, we have lots of critters around. I just carry my camera with me a lot and I'm sure to get a shot of one if not 2.

JJ, this is our first cucumber. Should be a straight 9, but someone must have forgot to tell it to stop growing at 9.

Well maybe the next one will only be 8. ^_^
That chimpunk is so cute, and that sunflower is so pretty.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Kassy, nice little veggies and cute chipmunk. I have a chipmunk that passes through my patio and I see him every so often. I don't know where he is headed but he doesn't seem to stop here.

Delhi, LA

I have a double pink and a double purple althea. I use to have a double white. It was pure white with no other colors, the only one I ever saw like that.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Venice, ours stop because BF feeds them. Gives the cats something to watch. I may be killing them off though.
I read were apple seeds are toxic to humans and chickens. So now when I cut up an apple for the chickens, I save the seeds and put them on the patio for the chipmunks. I know, I'm bad!!! Either 2 of them were busy someplace else today or they are starting to dissapear. The neighbors also have a bunch of cats, so they could be hunting them too.

Another one of a butterfly ^_^

those picture are awsome Kassy, you are a great photographer! Jim, if yours dies then I'm sure I will have extra :-) Sure JJ, would love some real live Peonys, don't tell me a fib and send me a rose of sharon LOL Venice, I've got a big fat Raccoon that sneaks by occasionally, funny how they disappear so fast!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I get city critters. Just bunnies & squirrels.

Nice pictures Kassy. You sure have an eye for photography.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

BTW, if you want to send me an email, my address is car3rm@aol.com.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Thanks venice,
For some reason I have you listed twice in my address book, and one of the is with the upper case C not the lower case c, so that may be the problem.
Will do a test.

Thanks guys, I love taking pictures, especially of nature ^_^

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Flowers, get your eyes examined! car3rm@aol.com I am sure it isn't working yet anyway!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Don't yell at me Venice, I can't help it LOL Nice cucumber Kassy

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Not yet, but it makes no sense to me.
Flowers send her a new email and see if she gets it. Don't use the reply or an old email, type a new one.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Thanks Flowers, I think all our rain helped them, not my poor tomatoes, and now we are having hot humid like everyone else, and I know cucumbers love that weather.

I don't think I ever put this picture in. I took it this spring out at my BF's forty.
Those who are afraid of spiders don't look.
I wish the wind had not been blowing and I could have gotten the picture centered. BF thought it was kind of neat too, since it's mostly the shadow of the spider you see. Wish I had only gotten the shadow but that was kind of hard to do to get it centered.

Cool Kassy, but you can keep him

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Venice I think you got it!!

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

LOL JJ, I left him in the forty.
I really didn't want to keep him either, just wanted the picture ^_^

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Flowers, I am really sorry! I am just so annoyed with this stupid AOL and this computer in general. I didn't mean to take it out on you. Please forgive me for my impatience! I have been working on this all evening and haven't gotten anywhere. I will be better after a night's sleep. You will see. Hope you have a good sleep also!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

I'm not the least bit offended Venice, I get very ill when I can't get something figured out too. Sleep on it and tackle it again tomorrow. Wish I could help.

Kassy cool spider picture, if grandkids saw that they would be smacking the screen with a fly swat. Never seen kids so afraid of Spiders. I tell them "ya know, that Spider is this big and how big are you"? Step on it! LOL

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Look at my Peony now LOL

It's pretty! Don't be too hard on yourself Flowers.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Altheas are way easier to take care of too Puff....grin

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Very pretty flowers. Looks a lot better then my peony does, because my peony ended blossoming quite a while ago already. It's just amazing how many of my flowers are done already, and it's only the first part of July.

We have set new heat records for the last 3 days. Temps hit 105 with a heat index of 116. Last night at 10 it was 86 with a heat index of 106. That is even to hot for me. Nothing is blooming here. Would you believe that the grass is still growing.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

ROFL Kassy I hate to tell you this but this is August, its ok the sun has shrunk all our brains LOL. Jim this summer has hit us like last winter, I sure will be glad when things get back to normal seasonal. Stay Cool my friend!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Flowers, your bush is very pretty!!!!

Kassy, I think tigers are so cool especially when they have their seeds on the leaves beside the stems. When I was little, we had some by our front door. Sometimes I would walk by and knock those little round seeds off. I was just too tempted!

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Venice, my BF try to plant some of those seeds to see what would happen. It didn't work. He then found out that if you just leave them sit on top of the soil, they will all of a sudden have a little white sprout come out and that sprout will find its way into the ground. He started some in the house to plant out side when we decide were we want to plant more. Can't trust those dang chipmunks not to eat them when they hit the ground.

Puffball Mushroom. YUMMMMMM

Kassy, I still think those are weird but cool!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Love the looks of them Kassy, but would be afraid to eat anything in the way of Mushrooms out of my yard, might wind up in the great beyond riding on a shooting star if ya know what I mean LOL

(Zone 5b)

hello all! Ji Jim! Hi Kassy!
Jim my roses have bounced back and recovered nicely, I just wanted to let you know. I hit 'em with everything I had, NEEM, Bayer All in One, and a fungicide, then I went on vacation. When I came back I just watered them. Now they're blooming again.

Hi gang. The heat has finally moderated, down to 100.

I'm glad your roses have snapped back, Lynnie. Mine haven't done to much lately. I think it is the high heat we have been having.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

What did Joe put up this year Jim? I didn't can a thing and bet I'll be sorry I didn't.
