Crissy - you should see the bruises on my DH's legs, I kicked so hard to NOT go into the Quilting shop!!! LOL j/k, j/k!!!!!!!!! I got over 7 yards (at $16.99 regular price would be $110.44) for $55.22!! It's a wonderful Gardener's Spring fabric with sayings about things you love about spring and gardening on it!! It's a soft gold colour and it's probably better in person than this picture, but here goes.....
Susan, is that $16.00 per yard? Holy cow! I thought paying 9.99 per yard here was bad! I know that is probably Canandian $$ but it is not that much higher than here.

Yes - she got the laptop for Christmas...so yes...technically it's from me & DH... DH went on FB and blasted her for it... (I'm not her 'friend', DH is) and the In Laws came over today and talked to her...

Mary, I can so sympathize with you. My daughter does the same thing to me...I have blasted her right back, no two wrongs don't make a right, but she knows she can't get away with saying things about family members....unless she wants to really get reamed out publicly.
A funny thing happened to prove this exact thing this weekend.
DH went down to the town store and was talking to Sharon, who owns the store. Sharon asked what he was doing home during the day. "I have been off a few days, and today took Shannon looking for a car."
Sharon replies "Oh, yes I heard that threw the grapevine....and soon as she gets one she says she is moving out!" DH replies "Don't tease me like that!"
DH comes home and sayz to Shannon "So, I am down town and get stopped...by someone that heard your moving out!" WIsh you could have seen her face! ROFL

original price of the gold was $16.99 a meter ($16/yard?), and I got it for 50% off because I bought the end of the bolt. Here's another length of fabric - not as long and only got 1 meter (1.09 yards)

Debbie - That is hilarious ! It's a funny age... They are "so excited" yet "so scared" about moving out.... It's great to talk about ...but then.. Responsibility will "hit... and they know they are not quite ready for it....

Finally waking up and it's lunch time, wow, talk about tired..Danie ran me ragged, or did I run her ragged??? question of the day..bad enough we fed on each others energy we also asked Cathy to tag along..
She had far too much sun, wasn't feeling the best when she got home..making a list of things we forgot this year, not knowing the venues but we'll be ready next year!

I look almost exactly like my dad, I have my mom's mouth and eyelids, everything else is dad, height, weight, build, everything.
I'm going to see if I can get another picture here of him without the Elvis get-up on. He would absolutely love it, I might, might try to bring him up there next year for it, if Dave will let me, if not you should have your reunion as close to it as possible...
