Welcome back, Lucy!

Mostly to partly cloudy so far this morning. Temp is 79 degrees with a southerly light breeze. Chance of a t-storm later this afternoon. Heading out to do some more transplanting and planting.
Good morning, all. Slightly overcast. 81 with 73% H.
I'm looking forward to leaving for FL to cool off!!
Air is very heavy right now, but sun is just peeking through...going to the farm blueberry picking.
78*F and beautiful, will probably be stifling later. Yesterday was overcast with showers and cooler. We're pretty good in the rain department, in fact one of the local lakes had warnings that the swimming areas were over a foot deeper than usual.
I'm still having some problems with this inner ear. The ENT doc has me scheduled for a MRI and neurology consult. Since things are so booked up it will be awhile till all that gets done. Ric
Wow....good luck, Ric!
Yes, good luck and feel better, Ric.
With luck it is just temporary, Ric. However testing can make sure!
Thanks for the good wishes. Apparently the effects vary from a week to months. I'm hopeful that's all it is. My vision has cleared and there's no nausea, but shuffling around like you have half a bag on cramps my style. LOL
It's clouded over and is trying to rain, since we've gotten a reprieve from the dry conditions it's back to non-stop mowing and weeding. I prefer that to non-stop watering. Ric
Good luck with the balancing act Ric. First time I had it was the longest and the worst as I recall. Doesn't hurt to check things out though.
Temp up to 85 degrees. Partly cloudy. Hoping for some of those showers that are to the west of here make it this far east later today. Found the spoil was bone dry way down when transplanting and planting today. Need the rain but not the nasty storms.
84 partly cloudy with a slight breeze, not bad at all.
92 here. I'm hearing thunder and we have a severe t-storm watch in effect until tonight.
80°, wind SSE 3.3mph, Rh 80% Rain
Raining HEAVY now, thunder & lightning - trying for the 3rd time to complete this post before I get knocked off again by the lightning! lol!
- Thanks Celeste, did good today, 3 porgies and a Sea Bass! ☺
Porgy and Bass! I remember that show.
Still waiting for rain.
Yes, I see Suffolk is red on the radar!
I was Striper fishing yesterday, not one bite but they(Striper) and the Sturgeons were jumping all around me. Some were close enough to the boat that I got sprayed by the splash of them jumping out of the water!!!
I know how that feels, I went fluke fishing once by the shore and cast out about 200' out. Just as I finished my cast a Huge 2ft+ doormat Fluke passed me by, about 3ft from me, I waved goodbye.. (lol!)
got a couple of showers today. The humidity has broken for now.

It's a mess in CT. right now--Marilyn's area hit hard w/80mph winds and possible tornadoes

Yes, I'm still a little shaky! Was heading for home from the other side of Thomaston, saw the inky sky & lightning.....ran in the door, turned on TV, saw 3 rotations in the clouds heading for my neighborhood. Ran in the basement with the dogs......we have 4 windows & glass doors in the basement, so we were huddled in a corner, but could hear the hail, & see the rhodos bending in the wind.....rain was very intense. Just lost some small branches, many leaves....the road is littered with leaves, rocks, & dead branches. Part of a tree came down on Cumberland Farms downtown....but we never lost power, & although we are under another tornado warning right now, things don't look as bad as earlier!
Thank goodness! I was worried about you! Clearing where I am now.
Wow - glad you're okay. Getting very dark here now.
Thanks! Stay indoors....no lightning hunt, Victor!
Torrential rain right now. Heavy wind. Temp down to 75.
Rain rate was just 5 inches per hour.
0.43 inch so far. Temp down to 70!
Glad you're ok Robin, we had heavy rain and wind earlier, got an inch. It was 89 around lunch time and 69 when I left work.
What a difference, Victor & Debi....it's much cooler here as well....a really nice day tomorrow.....
severe storm warning here
Glad that everyone is all right. Heavy showers here, got 3/8" of rain according to DH. All is serene at the moment.
1st thunderstorm dumped 0.5" rain in ˝hr. Getting hit again now by another storm cell.
Temp 77°, wind NNW 19.5mph, Rh 75%, heavy rain & winds
Wow...here I am away on a jaunt all day having a ball, and I check in here to see that tons of things have been going on with everyone! Sherrie - hope you have your power back. We didn't get anything here! Marilyn - How AWFUL to have had such a scary experience...so thankful to hear you and the dogs are all ok. Ric - hope that inner ear thing clears up very soon! Lucy - nice to have you back online! Victor - hope you have a wonderful Fla. vacation with Mickey! Behave yourself now with Snow White!! LOL
Pixie - hope you enjoyed some relaxation fishing even if they weren't biting!
It's quite warm here; had some thunder earlier but no rain; we're under a severe weather watch now until midnight; sure could use some rain. Stay safe everyone!!! This weather is nothing to sneeze at!!
Another nice drenching now. Luckily, not much wind. I'm at 1.2" so far.
Thanks, Louise!
(So Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Jasmine are fair game?? ^_^)
