I got some of the seed from you and I had a hard time getting some of them started too. I think some people harvested the seeds too soon. If they aren't harvested at the right time, their not going to grow.
I've started to harvest some of the seeds from that plants were I work. he he he he
More petunia seeds and Marigold seeds. And if I'm lucky, I might get some off the snapdragon plants they have there. Provided the seed pods dry on the plant before anyone breaks them off.

I know peonies Jean. I think you may have the right name for her's there.
Here is one of mine just as it was ending. I know they have single ones too, but the leaves on the one Flower posted isn't like the peonies we have here.

LOL opps my bad! After you posted I went ane looked at the tag on what I thought was my Peony.Seems instead I bought a Peony Atheafine and the fine print said Hibiscus Synacus Paeony flora double blooms. I can fool myself but not you swooft gardeners!

It is still a pretty baby Flowers. It was Venice's sharp eye that caught it. I used to have a double bloom Althea at our old house.....it was always such a reliable bloomer.

There are a number of plants out there it seems that end up with the name peony in their names, like my pink peony poppies as I call them, also known as Peony Poppy, Opium Poppy, Paeony Flowered Poppy. I'll just stick to calling them pink peony poppies

The Blossoms on yours reminded me a lot of my hollyhocks but I knew it wasn't hollyhocks.

Yes, it rained again last night, another half and inch, and more expected this afternoon.
From what the weather said, it sounds like our August could be the same as or July was as far as rain is concerned. :-(

Well I have three different kinds of rose of sharon now, just planted a Aphrodite Althea Hibiscus syriacus, its dark pink with maroon eyes. The other one I think is your basic pink or white, hasn't bloomed yet so don't know. Trade ya one for a Peony :-)

There are some between my property and the neighbors I can take you a start of.
She won't mind but I will ask. My sister has some too, I could get when I go get some of her mums.
