Just got wind of this and I think you should definitely have a category for singing talent. Every fair has to have a talent contest and live music! My daughter just won first place at a singing talent competition at the fair yesterday!

I second that from Mechelle. Courtney is a fantastic singer! I think you should add a singing contest!

Yes I suppose it would.. Maybe a time limit would be good.. Like no longer than 4 minutes.. ?

I sure wish it had gone up closer to opening day, though, instead of being posted on the LAST DAY to submit entries.

I'm looking forward to wandering around the fair. :-)

We didn't want to potentially annoy folks so decided to use it at the end. We'll probably post another banner to point folks to the voting areas when voting is open. (especially since everyone can vote)

Maybe I misread the directions... I thought yesterday was the last day to submit entries, but the banner is still up today.

O I have a suggestion for new year's fair already. Would it be ok if the quilters wanted, if they could attach a closeup picture of the stitching along with the quilt. The incredible consistency of the hand stitching is part of the beauty of the quilt IMPO. Thanks.

ps I am not a quilter. I just think the stitching is important. Thanks.
