Went to an auction Sunday and I have never seen things go so cheap. The auctioneer could hardley give stuff away. I got big boxes of brand new Cannon towels/ washcloths for 5 bucks. I got 9 - 60" bolts of material for 5 bucks.

I just could not belive what I was seeing. My husband got this for $375. I was shaking my head as I didnt even know what it was. Must still be the economy.

1946 Ottawa Log Saw Timber King. I guess its special as it has all the implements, original nuts bots, belts etc. Most of them are separated from the one lung engine and most pieces can never be found to be put back togather again.

Heres a better view. To me it looks like a primitive piece of junk.

Oil is above $82 a barrel. Highest in five months. Gold is at an all-time high. Weird. Commodities are never high when still recovering from a recession. But nothing makes sense this time around. Those high prices are not good for helping a recovery. Last thing businesses need is more higher costs. They're already facing that with taxes and healthcare.

They already do soda and candy here, I'll need to double check on the latte... oh yeah any take out food is taxed so if you buy from Starbucks or DD you are getting taxed for that.
