OH NOOOOOO!!! tummy is turning..omg I so wanted to meet Marion and Kim..drats and more drats...how very disappointing but I'm sure not half as much as it is for Marion not to be able to meet with us... terrible/terrible! Prayers for the family member that needs her help, family comes first..let's pray as well that perhaps just maybe help can be given quickly and she might arrive late...

Car is packed, I'm almost ready to leave .. want to get some of those USA dollars at the bank this morning and have a few things to pick up..

Buttertarts are in the freezer, now if only I don't forget them there..lol

So sorry not to see your smiling face, Marion, but know that you have good reason. This just means that it is more necessary than ever for the quilting gals to get together in Florida this winter. I am hoping that someone will want to host cause I'm looking forward to meeting with all of them.

Ok, 24 tarts divided by how many???? we have raisin, pecan and cranberry, right from our cranberry farm no more than 10 minutes away...hmmmm

Drats, should NOT have told you how many I've brought becauseCrissy, we have 1 over on them, if we get hungry and need a snack, might just have to bite into one or two or three etc....

Hey Joyce, We are planning on leaving by 5:30 A.M. So we should be there around noon. Getting the kids settled at the hotel and then be by you by 1:00 or so. LOL, we were thinking to drive Thursday night, when they get home from work but that would put us at your door around 3 in the A.M. sooo, we thought you should get a good night sleep, if you can sleep with all this excitement.
Got to tell you the kids are as excited as I, this is their first "real" mini vacation. They are planning to go to that amusement park by you.
Do you mind if they come and hang out with us in the evening on Friday and come for the omelette breakfast on Sunday?
Oh, Don't worry about drinks, we will bring a cooler for us.

Of course Anthony and Julia can join us anytime. They will love King's Island. People come from far and wide to go there! Some of the greatest rides around! Fireworks at 10:00 at night, too. Plus swimming if they're up for that, too.

I don't think Janet (Meadowyck) will be joining us, since I sent her a dmail and she didn't respond. So looks like it will be, Jaye, Judy, Crissy, Betty, Tink, Janice, Sue and Me. Bertie will be joining us on Saturday (plus a couple other people I invited for the tour). Sue is not sure if she'll be able to stay Saturday night. She has twins and so far only has a babysitter for Friday night. Last year we had Marion, Deborah, Kris, Judy, Tink, Janice, Jaye, Kel, BJ and me. Did I forget anyone? Phyllis joined us for a while... We're supposed to get a bigger group every year....so someone else is just going to have to come! Well, Kathy, Marion and Bonita will all be with us in spirit!

It's 92 here right now with 60% humidity. That's pretty warm for us in Ohio in June! It must be trying to get ready for you guys to come who are used to this heat.... No tomorrow's high is only 86. ^_^

Outside? Not long-the heat really gets to me right now. I am not sure what time we are leaving on Sunday. I know we want to get back to Mom's on Sunday cuz on Monday am we are planning to go to a fabric place and a little farm market and hopefully get some strawberries so we can make jam....Do you have anything planned for Sunday??

Well, it depends on what time everyone is leaving. There is a daylily farm not too far from here, and I thought we might go there is there is any interest.

I know Judy is planning her omelets for breakfast on Sunday. Not sure how long after that she's staying. Crissy and Betty said Sunday morning. Jaye is staying until Wednesday (YIPPEE!)
