We are planning on arriving on Friday more than likely afternoon. Weather will be determining issue--if we run into any and hoping we are not. Plan to start home on Tuesday--will that be okay?

Mom and I will be there early Fri afternoon and be leaving Sunday afternoon/evening

That way, we can stay here on Friday and wait for all the sistahs to arrive (and you too, fairy niece!) Then maybe do the quilt shop on Monday. Oh pooh....then Stacey and Janice can't see the shop...Well, I'll check and see if they're open on Sunday.

I know the quilt shop won't take all that long, maybe we can fit it in on Saturday. I assume we are going to Joan's Sat am, then lunch, then depending on hrs, maybe we can do the quilt shop and then Jungle Jim's (assuming the shop has shorter hrs than Jim's) if the shop isn't open on Sunday. Or whatever....I am not sure all want to even go to the quilt shop....I can't wait to see the fairy quilt!!:)

It's Sew-A-Lot, on main street in Centerville. No Sunday hours. Maybe if you get here early enough on Friday we could run over then. I'm sure Jaye wouldn't mind going twice!

We can't do it on Saturday. The tour, lunch and JJ's are in the opposite direction, and they're only open from 10-5 on Saturday. Then we have to come home to have that humongous shower and meal!!! LOL

If it is half as good as it shows online it will be quite a treat!!! I will talk to mom on Wed since she is in St. Louis right now and see what time she thinks we can be there. If we get there early enough, you are right, the 2 of us and Jaye might be able to make a jaunt over there!!:)

Jordyn and I were both impressed. It's not a big place...but oh my, the stuff that's in there!!!!

Staff is what makes or breaks a quilt shop--not necessarily the size. Can't wait!!!!!!

Well, Jordyn and I told them we were just "checking them out" for you girls and they couldn't have been nicer. Hope the same ones are working when we go!

Humm, now let me see. I have clothes almost packed--check; car serviced--check; roast ready to be smoked--check; Tink's pretties packed--check; money for quilt shop--done big time. LOL

I haven't started anything yet, I do better last minute.

Truthfully, I haven't either. Still getting my laundry done and some other much needed things taken care of before leaving for a while.

I have made packing lists, but that is as far as I got so far. Auntie M-I am so glad you are so excited!! Some of the girls I work with are excited and so is my mom considering I am an only child, but it seems like the rest of the family is kinda like "been there, done that" and it's no big deal. I imagine for most of them it isn't, but after how long we tried and the fact that we'd given up thinking kids weren't in the cards for us, I guess it means more to us...After we find out the sex I am sending a card to my Aunt on my dad's side to let her know and to ask her to tell my half-brother and half-sister for me. I would have loved for our kids to have 2 grandpas considering they are both still living, but alas, they will have to do with Chris's dad whom I hope does better with his grandchild than he did with his son.

I have to be good while I am down there since we want to buy a few fireworks this year too. Just some of our faves like the one that looks like flying fish in the sky and stuff:)

I am feeling OK I guess. Still take my sick pill in the am, but now I only have about 3-4 bad days out of the week where I feel like crap all day instead of it being all 7...

I think so much of the time that trying so hard to have a baby keeps you from getting one! Then when you accept that it's not meant to be and stop trying so dang hard, Wheeeeee!!! A Babeeeeeeee! ^_^

Does anyone drink decaf coffee? I will get some if you do, cause we only use leaded here. I can pick up some decaf teabags as well if anyone wants that.

Soft drink requests? I know Jaye likes diet gingerale, but I don't know which brand she likes.

Well Tink, rest assured I am excited about this baby as if it were my own family. I so understand how you and Chris must have felt as my son and DIL went through the same thing before she finally got pregnant. She had gone in for a physical to start fertility meds when she found out she was preggers, as you say. Then before we knew it the second one came. .......and oh what a second one she has turned out to be!!! Yikes but she has an imagination and devilment to spare. Love her though.

Bag is on the bed, goodies there as well so shouldn't be a last minute fiasco...been working like the dickens on some projects..yikes..no rest for the wicked!

Today Kathy goes to the cardiologist. She's supposed to call me when she gets back. Appt. isn't until 3:30 though.
