LOL...there were salads, too! And desserts!
What's for dinner? #7 BBQ Season
OK, just came home today from the Houston area. While there, the DILs shared meal prep. We paid for the food. I baked a boatload of muffins and breads for breakfasts.
Fri. tacos
Sat. Grilled stuff for lunch and teriyaki chicken for dinner with fresh beans
Sun. wedding reception buffet - chopped salad, fruit salad, asparagus, scalloped potatoes, fried potatoes, a fish dish, chicken romano, seafood fettucine alfredo and prime rib. Very good cake. They forgot the icecream cake (groom's cake) which he was very glad about, cuz we had it later that night.
Mon. sausage and biscuits, grits and eggs for breakfast,
leftover beef and ham sandwiches for lunch.
Welcome back Jan
western ribs finished on the grill, parsley potatos and spinich.
just made my mouth water Jumper
:)
me too...I love ribs!!
What a feast, Jan! I like the ribs, too! Tonight, BBQ baked chicken, orzo salad, fresh asparagus.
Sounds yummy....I've never made it either. I don't have a clue right now.....maybe an herbed & cheese omelet.
Beef tips, maybe kabobs on the grill if hubby gets home early enough.
I need to make Kolaczki for my son's class tomorrow. They are doing a fascinating food day, you have to represent a country or state with an appetizer or dessert.

That looks interesting, Jen. Never had it.
Sausage and pasta.
Oh gosh they are soooooo good. You can't stop popping them in your mouth....making them for the Mid Atlantic RU on Saturday also.
sirlion strips and something - thinking corn and steak fries.
Anything with apricot, Jen, is wonderful.
steak on the grill(DH is learning how to cook with the new grill), noodles and greenbeans. It's a good thing we bought the new one, the burner on the old one has disintergrated.
I used a nut filling and raspberry filling, oh my gosh they are soooo good, made sure hubby was just eating the "not so pretty" ones.
I did a fast beef tip stir fry for dinner.
We had strawberries and blueberries on shortcakes for dessert tonight. Everyone else had wipped cream on theirs.
Too hot to cook...looks like a cottage cheese & salad night.
Did better today....pork roast, noodles, applesauce & salad with strawberries, goat cheese, & walnuts.
Went to a Greek festival last night, I had my usual gyro, DH had pastitsio.
love them both!
Randy and I were in need of some good food... brined some chicken ... nice rub.. and on the grill with some fresh sweet corn.. just the pick up we needed
Ribs(apple and honey) and bratwurst, potato salad, mac salad, fried cabbage
Sounds delish....going to dine with friends tonight...have not seen one couple who now live in FL for over two years...can't wait.
Brian's B-day dinner wasn't what he had planned on last week. Not my fault...he got sick and didn't feel like the usual big hearty meal :( He loves anything raspberry soooo......... I made him raspberry pancakes/w raspberry syrup & fresh whipped cream.
YUMMMMM...........
NICE
I hope he had a very happy day....raspberries would cheer me up! My girlfriend served 2 of the same things I made for dinner yesterday....pork roast & strawberry, walnut, goat cheese salad....what are the odds of that?
Chicken, rice and broccoli tonight.
Seasoned pork on the grill. Sweet potato fries.
Rotisserie chicken from the store. Potatoes, salad and some other veggie.
Trying Blue Moon Honey Moon beer as I type - not bad.
I like blue moon with an orange slice
I was so cold, I made pasta fagiola...warmed me up nicely.
Deb, this one is made with orange peel, as well as honey and clover. Not overly sweet, though. I like it.
Sounds good, I'll have to try it.
Yum Robin!! One of my favs. :)
Grilled T-Bones, steamed broccoli and coleslaw.
Turned out to be a great day. Lion's Club family picinic by the river. DH and another member cooked burgers and dogs. It was potluck, lots of other goodies.
Adobo chicken, rice and beans
Braised breast of veal, sauteed broccoli, mashed garlic potatoes.
oooooo, YUM!!!!
