Allison, the azalea was blooming in the woods...looks as good as it does in the pic. Sufer dude, said don't laugh at the ones they have for sale they are kinda on the small size....I got you the tallest one about 18"

What a beautiful day today! I had to be gone for most of it, but I got in 7 tomatoes, 4 peppers, 4 more broccoli and 3 hills of cukes early this morning before I had to leave. I couldn't wait to get back home. Tomorrow I'll be getting some more in early, because our "working outside" part of the day will be interrupted again. It's a busy week here! Got up to 84 here.

Yes - mostly at a restaurant, but we'll come back to the house afterwards. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can be outside.

Going to a nursery with my sil to pick out plants for her new garden...it's about 5' wide and 60' long...yes I said 60'!!!!

80 here right now.......too late to jump in out there after being away most of the day. I'm looking forward to getting a lot done outside in the great temps over the weekend. Thanks to generous gifts from DG friends and the plant swap here last September, I think my gardens have never looked better......I can't wait to see all the blooms coming! Bill, there's one little bloom on your kerria!

Lovely cool bright day because of a sea breeze. After Lunch we had to satay near the house becasue of waiting for call to pick up the car & delivery of washing machine. DH did some weeding in front beds while waiting while I listened for the phone. He finally called the garage & it was ready. Garage is a bit over 2 miles away. They had driven him home but he had to walk to pick up car with me fuming. He could walk it he said, this is along highway & he is 80 yrs old. Fume, Fume from me. Delivery finally is here (they give you a 4 hr window) & DH is giving directions in & out of the basement. But what a wasted day garden-wise.

Sorry to hear that, Lucy! I hope you have a doubly good garden day tomorrow to make up for it!!
