2010 Garden Photos - Part 9
The Geum looks so nice with the Lupines. I wonder if iys hardy here.
I'll check
Looks good Ge!! it's grown alot already!!
Should be hardy Ge, I have 2, that orange and a red one that is about 8 years old.
Celeste, we seem to have the same taste in tulips. Love all your variety of plants in bloom right now. Fritillary are cool, but that red lily beetle apparently like them too. I still haven't found any more than the one that we are pretty sure we saw before it flew away. Dang. We are spraying as soon as we get back to Nantucket. DH read up on them last week and ordered something, plus we have neem oil in hand. I am going to win this one. I hope. I love stock, but never seem to plant any. Maybe I will this year. What do you do with them when they are finished blooming. Yank them up and discard? Patti
What ba great photo Bill.
Pixi I just checked it out Bluestone has 2 I would like and am starting a wishlist when their sale comes .There is a short red one where the flowers are upfacing.
Totally Tangerine is another I would like.
Looks like a house wren Bill. Get ready for early morning noise.
really nice collection of plants Bill
Love all the garden photos. Lots of colorful blooms and foliage.
Wha, That hose shows you care and that if you weren't in the Navy, you at least know how to coil a hose. Nicely done. Your Shirazz is about the size of the one I saw yesterday for 250.00. I could drive right by it this morning on the way to Boston. But I will resist. Yours is so gorgeous.
I am seeing a battery of Doctors today for my one year check up. I hope I don't give them my cold. And, I hope they give me good news. I hate the idea of spending a perfectly good gardening days at Beth Israel and Brigham's. But it is better than being planted. Patti
