peoniae - i think you are referring to the trellis in the left side of the picture - clem josephine my favorite is in there.

jumper i did not actually raise them - i just pushed the mulch off them (lots of mulch)

thanks wha about the 'carnival' jm. SO added to my list. flowerjen how in hoot did you get a daisy this early ?!?! Cousin Nut luv the ice plant (annual here sigh). jumper2 very luvly irisiis. Tonight I will start with my irisii divisions. Lookin pretty good. Huh? Huh? Well I'M thinkin they're looking pretty good since they lost ALL their last years foliage.

I SWEAR that the nectar level has dropped an inch in 2 days! A latitudinally simpatico bud on the west coast has hummers now. Do ya think it might be a scout hummer?!?! (work with me)

The Californians made it but sadly little dark pink is probably froze on top. There are others opening up the way. More pics later of those when they open.

Wow, I guess Monday is the day for many, many marvelous pics. Everything is looking superb!

Hose shot (snort) Steel blue Aconitum comin on strong with no sign of s*n*o*w burn. WHOO HOO!

And now a moment of silence for my one and only hellebore niger:( ................ Stayed so evergreen all winter but sigh not lookin good now. Marginally hardy here. O well I shall just have to try again.

For Cousin Nut ^_^ Note: I have to leave the old under foliage on to retain moisture and protect from freezyness cuz we still get freezyness now. In a couple of weeks I will trim that all off.

Clemmies are all bursting out now. HOW EXCITING IS THAT!
