Hi Gang, It's good see you are all still kicking. I'm still hanging around, think I'll shoot for 100 like Momma. I told Jo I needed to die before I turned 70 and my insurance cut in half. Didn't make it so I'm in for the long haul now.

Hayward (Z8b-9a), CA(Zone 8b)

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Hi Jim, good to see ya. You sound like my Mother......hope I go before the end of the year my term life goes up to high after that...LOL

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Howdy Jim....are ya gonna do hay bale maters again this year? A big hello to the Lovely Jo also. Did your daughter(?) get moved closer to home?

Delhi, LA

Hi to everyone. I'm doing great and the garden even better. Belive it or not everything was up and growing by the end of February. First time I ever set out tomatoes the first of Feb. They are chest high and loading nicely. A few as big as a softball. Green beans, squash, cucumbers, potatoes and lettuce making like crazy. Wish all you guys were close enough to share with.

No hay bale tomatoes. They are just to much trouble to mess with.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Sounds like the early bird has plenty of worms...Ummm...tomatoes....grin.

Dahlonega, GA

Hey , Moon , how's the Jap Maple and night blooming cerus, (you spell it ) doing ?
Sure would like to have a hamburger with ya again . It was gosh awful that day , a long lunch and pick your mind would be nice . Alas , we will be returning Oct. by way of I- 20. Someday tho , sigh .

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

mmmm that all sounds great Jim, a garden tomato sure would taste good, yours will be bought done before my start. LOL

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

They are both doing fine Sally....I too would love to get together again....it will happen...GRIN

Hayward (Z8b-9a), CA(Zone 8b)

Hmpf. Tomatoes. I have a long-standing feud with them plants (on account of a certain semi-dog-puppy). I can never seem to grow them- they never SEEM to fruit .

UNTIL now .

A volunteer tomahtoh sprouted up in our (okay, on the side of) driveway. It is now over 3 feet tall- the oddest plant found in FRONT of any house in our neighborhood. I'm hoping that the semi-dog-puppy does not figure it out since he knows that we only plant his favorite snack in the backyard... we shall see... ^_^
