Coffee Break #37 - Best time of year!

Some "IFFY" business will put ad on TV or do a 30 min info commercial. I checked into a couple. One that will suck you right in is Herbalife. I was "some what" convinced until I had to cough up 400 bucks to buy product and sell it. Thats when I told them to jump ship.

Who cares why we eat it? It's good!!!

And they said it may be that eating a lot of chocolate actually causes people to feel depressed

I will pass - thank you

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

it's all easters fault!!!!

Maybe chocolate is the reason my husband is acting doofy

Thomaston, CT

Must have my chocolate fix daily, usually in a mocha latte.

South Hamilton, MA

Saw the same information in another source. It also speculated that depressed people might eat it to help their mood. Which? Another study! We do love our grants.

South Hamilton, MA

Mocha is a coffee fix. ☺

A follow-up to my posted link from last week about the genius in Iran who blamed scantily-clad (love that term) women for earthquakes. Well, a forward-looking (female) Purdue student decided to test this scientific hypothesis. She asked women to join Boobquake yesterday, wearing revealing clothing.

LOL.. OMG

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Just google it.

They are nuts, it wont solve anything. Then again I just posted over on the jokes forum :-)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm 100% supportive. (Not sure the same can be said of their clothing.)

Want a good chuckle jump to the trash to treasures forum :-)

After 19 years, we're getting a new bedroom set. The first one was very well-made - solid wood. It is still in pretty good shape.

South Hamilton, MA

My Dad did woodworking as a hobby & made ours, so would not part with those. Hope your new set works well.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Just found this. There is someone who knows where he is in space.

A true believer in solid wood furniture here. I like refurbished antique furniture, but its had to find a whole set made of the same wood. Unless you want to pay out the nose.

Here is government at its best. This is a flow chart 'explaining' the situation in Afghanistan for the military to use. Incredible.

Actually, it reminds me of the signs at DMV.

South Hamilton, MA

Never mind saying it; certainly can't spell it.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Thanks Dnut!

Victor, that looks like "the chart" in the show The L Word.

So where can one find solid wood furniture anymore these days?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You do see it in some better furniture stores. I am ordering this online.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I used to buy from "Moosehead Furniture" but they closed this past Jan. All of their pieces were made from solid wood that came from the Maine Woods.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Lots of Amish furniture is still all wood.
