I will plant them all next week after I get Polly's Siberian Iris and the Lazy S'S' orders which are both en route. I have a big pile of lilies to plant too, but I find it far better to do them all at once and after all the old lilies are showing, so I can see where it is safe to drill. Patti
Nice orders, Patti. I like all the Chiffon series.
Nice choices everyone! I was looking at heuchera Sweet Tea yesterday, but I wasn't sure where to put it. I got an order from Bluestone today.....geranium Shepherd's Warning, campanula Bellringers, heuchera Dale's Strain, chrysanthemum Coral Cavalier, anenome Andrea Atkinson, salvia Crimson something, & sempervivum Red Tide.
wow wow wow.. great stuff!!!.. that sweet tea looks like a winner!!
Frank65 I covet the lavender lace. And what a koinkidink! The local Rose Society just called to ask if I would volunteer at the mini rose sale on the 7th. YA THINK! I just luv them so could spend 3 hours selling to myself (tee, hee). I have 6 and I want 60. They do really well in my garden.

I am going to declare irisMA. I think I mucked up my iris transplants :( I have guilt. They have new growth but there's lots of dead foliage :( Should I just cut the dead foliage off?
Yep, may be old foliage left over from last yr. New growth sounds good.
WHEW!
hummina hummina
Well I do agree Patti makes the rest of us perennial plantaholics look like total slackers. A very nice list. Wills Wonderful is the very last thing to bloom here and with your slightly warmer climate out there you will enjoy it very much I think. All selections look good to me.
High Country Garden order arrived in good condition, deep pots and nice sized plants. This is what arrived:
lavender 'Hidcote Giant'
thymus praecox articus 'Coccineus'
liatruis lingulistylus
veronica 'Blue Charm'
Expect Garden Crossing order today.
Nice list Pat
Hey Dnut, I'm crazy about mini's too. I forgot to mention we got two of all those listed. Part of the deal for ordering early.
Geez Patti, I thought DW and I ordered alot!!!! I'm too old to try to plant all that in a week! Good for you though. Enjoy and looking forward to pics!!!
High Country Gardens is to die for. It's on my Bad Things about Living in the SW List in the Great Book of Lists cuz I will spend WAY too much there. I like the longbloomedness of the veronica 'Blue Charm'. Great choice! Please let us know if it is truly longbloomed.
Can't wait to see all these new plants in bloom!!!
I went to my local garden center the place is just HUGE.
Bought some stuff. I wanted to get a Hardy Hibiscus ...they are coming in next week.
The red and whites go in my americana whiskey barrel(there is already a blue delphinium in there)
Citronella scented geranium
Some petunias and superbell( I guess a variation of the million bells) calibrachoa
White geranium(I read that japanese beetles eat these and die)
Some Fireglow sedum
Nemesia fruticans(these smell wonderful)
Impatien to go in a small decorated planter on my front stoop
and that dark burgandy one...I forgot the name(they have others colors) of course this one doesn't have a tag....
