Jan23 the garden centre shopping tour is a marathon one day event. We leave before dawn and there are no stops for food or drink. You bring everything with you. It is a big motorcoach. I'm liking the idea of a steamer trunk! Thanks.
Dahlianut - I love gladiola flowers. I really love that they keep making more corms so I can share with others,.
You're welcome :) Make sure you are first in line, so there is definitely room for it. hee-hee
That's what he told me, Bill. Yours are old and warehoused. Mine are fresh and vibrant.
Seandor I always call the babies 'pearls' cuz they look like a string of pearls around the mother corm when you dig them up in the fall ^_^
You guys crack me up.
Oh nice big healthy plants. Very nice and with a bloom already, way to go Jen.
I am expecting Bluestone order later today. They are small but healthy plants and good for filling up a new garden extension. Only thing not looking forward to is the foam peanut fight.
Oh those stupid peanuts!!!
Hate the peanuts. Nice geranium. I can't read Lazy S without saying 'lazy a**'!!
I KNOW, me either... Why did they name it that???
it is lazy s&s

Allison those Honeysuckle look awesome! Everything looks so good! Great score! :)
Oh nice looking plants onewish. Lots of goodies.
Just finished the peanut wars and I am happy to say it was not too bad at all. New wider shallow box made excavating the plants much easier. Also they are much larger than usual no doubt because of the early spring weather, which also means I will have to get them planted right away. More thunder gotta go now.
and great prices to match!!!
I am Happy to report I didnt spend as much on the garden this year.
I bought 2 Salvia BlueNight's over the weekend.
What's the other site Allison? your plants look good. I just got my glads from eflower garden yesterday, suddenly I am in need of space to plant 30 bulbs? Are glads deer resisitant although mine eat anything and everything?
you have d-mail... my eflower hostas came today... that spoon one is soo cute!!
I've planted some new hostas, First Frost, Eskimo Pie, & Deja Blue, and hardy geranium Elke...had a Norwegian elkhound that name, so had to buy it! Also planted a new clem...Little Mermaid.
Hi Marilyn .Your list sounds great.
Brent and Becky order has been shipped. Getting three calla lilies and some 'Queen Fabiola' triteleia bulbs to try. I will pot the calla lilies so they can be over wintered easier. The calla are 'Selina', 'Mint Julip', and 'Mango'.
Hi JoAnn....can't wait to see the clem bloom....Pat, nice calla lillies! I potted up some canna lillies, but I'll need to plant them at some point.
Got spirea whites, 1 red peony, red monarda, 3 ferns, purple and ice blue iris, asters from the neighborhood perennial sale for 20 dollars, feeling lucky.
Just got back from Rarefind, spent time with Allison and Randy, Weeze and Memory. Good time!!
Bought my first JM 'TamukeYama'
Glad you had a good time, Jen. Great choice! Wow - long drive for Memory.
Yep, long drive that is a dedicated gardener for ya.
Funny story, my daughter's name is Maddison(brought her with me)We were walking back to pay for our plants and I see a tree tag on the ground Cornus Kousa 'Madison'...well... I HAVE to get it.....so I ask them where they are....no one knew, then one of the guys asked where I found the label.....they realized it came from a shipment they just got in(they come in bareroot) and need to make sure they grow. SO I'll be going back in June to check them out. AWESOME
