Hey sistahs... I just dropped in the other place to say HI... but I thought I'd drop in here too, just in case...

It's been way too busy here for me... I need to slow down... getting way too old to keep up with teenagers anymore... but, it has been fun and interesting.

Can't type much more now, so, if you want to know more, you'll have to read over there.

I'll share a few different pics here though... not to bore you.

It seems that my DGD Taylor has some unknown viral disease. She will be going to U.C. Davis medical center for more testing. My daughter is going to take family leave. So until she does I will be babysitting Monday -Friday.

Morning Audrey, How are you doing today?

Thanks. Me too LK, this has me so worried. She has dark circles under her eyes, is very pale. She feels good early in the mornings but then by noon she is cold, tired and running a fever. Her SED rate was high and they tested her for Lupus, Rhuematoid Arthritis, and Lyme disease all came back negative.

Cindy, do keep us updated. I can imagine the worry you and your daughter must be having--I would be out of my mind! Well, what little I have left.
Will keep Taylor in my thoughts and prayers.

Also having to keep eye on my Mom to make sure she doesn't get pneumonia. I've been doing her bowling stuff and getting ready for two banquets on Tuesday.
I WANT TO RUN AWAY!!!!!! LOL just kidding ^_^

I know the feeling!! LOL and I also know you were kidding but life can just so overwhelming at times.

Cindy, if she is scheduled for knee surgery in May, they won't do it if she is sick. She may have to re-schedule it! praying everyone gets beeter real soon!

Oh my gosh, I did not think of that. She has an appt. with the doc a week before the surgery so we will see.

Well, hubby will be home soon, so you all be good! I will check in later!

Took mom to doc. She called me while I was babysitting. Said she was weak and her chest was tight again. Everything a ok. Doc gave nubulizer to help with the breathing. Said she should be fine by the time she has her surgery. She goes back to have a check up for pre-op on May 4th.

Taylor had a good day so far no temp. Please Lord, let her be on the mend too.

Maid M is right. Taking care of oneself, is not a problem.. but taking care of another.. and that means 2 for you Cindy.. Taylor plus Mum.. you should be overwhelmed.
But God in His mercy will not let us down. He only gives us what we can handle.
Sure do hope He takes care of your Mum and Taylor. That child should be running and playing outside in this beautiful weather.

Did a lot of 'on the road' activity today. Thank God, I finished all the towels for the fair last night, so the unexpected chores didn't break my promise to the church.
I'm not used to so much driving. Since my surgery, Kel has always done the driving if it's long distance, as my legs do give out on me.
Now, I'm feeling the pain in legs and my back.. and thank you Lord for the pain killers!!

Will bid all a goodnight, and I better get myself to the other building!

The agenda for today may be different from other Saturdays.
Kel said he'd like to clean up the yard, do some building... we'll see.
If I know him, the minute he walks in the door.. he'll say "Let's go!"

LOL yesterday I had to go to the store. When I got home I had a huge surprise.
DOUG!!!! he said he didn't feel like working and he was missing his Baby ^_^
He said he had to tell me something it started like this "I met a girl online, and I fell in love with her, but she lives far away and I don't like it, so I had to come see her" He scared me I thought he was breaking up with me. So we did some yard work then relaxed the rest of the day. Today we are going to take a ride to my friends house. I want them to meet him really bad. They are my best friends. Get this, I said to Doug " Douglas Gail, I want you to meet my friends Doug and Gayle. LOL thought that was funny ^_^

Taylor had a really bad day yesterday.

Where is everybody today? Doug and I went to my friends. They REALLY liked him. Invited us to go on a camping trip with them. Doug (friend) said "Need to get that motorhome of yours tuned up" so that will be one of our next projects.
Doug (my honey) is cooking dinner for us now. We are having Chicken Alfredo ^_^ .

Hello everyone I am here. Been busy last night and today. I took dad for a ride, and he had a great time.

Last night my neighbor called me, to tell me her daughter is missing.
Our nieighbor has a daughter that is only 13. She got involved with the wrong crowd last year. Well she dissappeared last night, and they don't know if she ran away, or was taken away.

Daisy has been dating a known member of one of the local gangs here. Her Mom found out a few months ago, and was furious. She called the sherrif department and pressed charges for statuatory rape on the guy, and ever since she has been getting threatening phone calls, all hours of the night.
We are all praying she just got mad and ran away, and not taken by force!
Her name is Daisy.
