Oh my!!
The other room has accomodated more than 240 posts!!!
It's been quiet here, as many have migrated to the other building.
So far, the list of prayers will continue until the ones concerned tell me to remove them or update.

Welcome to the quilting club Cindy. You'll get so many support from online too!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the new room Jaye! How are you doing today? How is Murdock?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Another day of wheezing, coughing... and blowing snot!!
Hey.. at least it keeps me busy, LK!!
Managed to cut more fabrics though!

Murdock got a boost platelets shot today and he has not come down from his depression.
MIL is adamant that we don't interfere with the 'other' son. Oh well...we can only pray right?

Kel's back.. so I get a treat again tonight. The life of a spoiled housewife!!! Very spoilt too!!!
Something warm for this stomach.. may just order a nice bowl of menudo!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL No I'm not getting one of those pups. There are mom and dad next door if I need one, and I have an unfenced yard anyway.

I Love Menudo, I'll be right over Jaye! I've still got Murdock in my T&P.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Question: which Menudo? Tripe or Tripe soup? pocket change or Puerto Rican Pop Group? LOL

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Thanks Jaye,
I am finding this quilting thingie fun. But I don't like cutting the fabric. I think after I do this Downey Quilt I will start on my butterfly quilt.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Too late Crissy! It was yummy!! Kel had chilli relleno and chicken milanesa.
They make faithful companions those rottweilers.

Of course Menudo Tripe Soup, Maid M!! Now for that Menudo Boy Band.. that will be illegal.. wouldn't it?

Cindy, once you see how the quilt comes together, you'd want to do another!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

LOL oh who knows? Certainly not me. LOL

BTW I love it also--even fried the way my Mom used to prepare it.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Now, my late mum would boil the tripe till tender, slice them and then cook them in oil with some curry flavorings. Delicious.
I would do the same, but only fry them with a little soy and garlic.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I'll be counting ways to cook tripe tonight!!!!

Good night ladies.. love y'all.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

my home is listed:
http://www.justlistedcalgary.ca/view_listing.php?listing=mls&id=C3421545
The picture of the bedroom doesn't do justice to the colour though.........
Ah well, Open House is on Saturday!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Susan it looks very nice! Praying you will get lots of offers, quickly!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

You sure did do good. The house looks lovely. Sending wishes for a quick sale for you....

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Wow! That really looks big! It should sell in a hurry.. (knocking on wood)
^_^

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Very nice Susan. I love the color of the bedroom BTW. Curious: Is that a horseshoe crab shell in your laundry room? LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I had to go back and look! Sure looks like one.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

It is a horse shoe!!! Had to go back too!!

Susan, your home is beautiful. We are still praying for an easy sell for you!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well maybe my eyes aren't as bad as I thought. LOL

(Chris) Des Moines, IA(Zone 5a)

I had to go look too lol.. very pretty place, I bet it sells quickly!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Good Morning Ladies,
My mom is very sick this morning. I fear it is pneumonia, she has had it before and gets it really easy. Will be taking her to the doctor today.

Well here is the first part of the Downey Quilt. I just laid the pieces together, will be sewing on them later today.

Great job Cindy = that looks so vibrant. I'm sure some young man is going to love it....

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

it IS a horseshoe crab - picked it up on Cumberland Island in 1999, from the seashore (across from St Mary's, GA).
I was startled when Bob found it. We had some time bringing it home on the plane and through customs, I can tell you!! LOL

♫♪~§usan~♪♫

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh my, I bet you did! Hopefully it was just the shell? Maybe you should have mailed it?

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

The crab was dead - just the shell. The reason i said "some time" is that we carried and, at the time, we were smokers and had to go through customs many times in the 12 hours we were stuck at the airport in Chicago. Scanned it everytime, but it was just "bone" so they didn't care.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

ROFLOL sounds like us bring pig ears back for friends when we visited them in Austria. They sent some home for the dog and oh, my what an experience. Guess my eyes are so bad after all.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Horse shoe crab eggs are good eating.. that's what my late father claimed.
I was once on a plane to Tokyo and down the aisle were huge turtle shells. Jap tourists weren't thinking of the inconvenience caused to the other passengers.

The last of the potted plants are out of the greenhouse. I'm supposed to be sewing, instead I'm glued to this pc looking up stuffs!!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Got a wild hair about noon and my neighbor and I went to see Lisa! We got back about 7:00. Tonight I planted several desert rose seeds. Can't wait for them to take root! I also put some castor beans in to soak before I plant them. Don't know if they're viable, they're very light weight, and lots of them had holes in them from bugs.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Had a disappointing Open House today - only 1 curious neighbour, and a competing realtor came to see.......... no one that was interested in the place, to buy...........

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Give it time Susan. Better 2 folks to dirty your carpet ;)

Love you.. He's doing His best for you!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Dinner last night with Mom and Dad to celebrate three birthdays and their anniversary. Not often you get to say someone is celebrating their 71st anniversary! We were talking and they started dating when Dad was 17 and Mother was 15, so they've been together for 75 years. Wow....unbelievable!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Joyce, that is quite the accomplishment to reach 71 years! Hope you gave them lots of love!
Susan, give it time! God did not build the world in one day!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Always, LK, always!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

No He did not. Susan I posted a reply on the other website, I hope it makes you feel better. It's coming from experience as a Realtor and things I did not know until I became one. I spent a lot of money doing that but boy what a great learning experience it was!

Cookie I got your caramels and they are absolutely wonderful. I don't know if I can ever live without them again!

Well I don't remember what I've read LOL I think I've been on this computer for a tad too long, 5 hours now. I'm going to go 'rest' and maybe 'eat' LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Now she has you hooked on those delicious candies! They are so good!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Thank you for your thoughts, Jaye, LK and Crissy (and anyone else I've missed...).
it's just so hard when you're in the situation. I posted our home on kijiji.ca, and also at the bowling alley. I hope it jogs some interest.........

Susan

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Blushing here...you girls make me feel so good!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Why are you blushing cookie?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Cause you girls are complimenting me..... ^_^

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Cause we love you! ^_^
