40 and windy here today. Hope your snow melts soon, Celeste.
Have fun, Victor. I like watching gymnastics.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 67
It has changed to mostly rain....some snow flakes still mixed in though. Most of that in the picture has melted thank goodness!
Enjoy, Victor! I was really into gymnastics as a kid....still love to watch the meets. The college championships will be great fun, I'll bet!
Celeste - glad to hear that your snow has mostly melted. Cruel trick MN pulled on you this morning!
So was I. I did it for a few years in grade school.
Feels like November today!
46° now, going down to 40° with scattered showers tonight, more seasonal temps in the mid to upper 50°s predicted here through Wednesday.
I am still in Boston. Another Dank Day.
Off to the Pottery studio then on a quest for a new chain saw blade before going back to Nantucket tonight. We have back ups, but they are in Vt being sharpened, so to keep progress going I need to get a new sharp one. That is if the weather clears Hope so for the race and for our garden projects.
Hope that white stuff is gone up in Maine. Patti
47 now going to 56... more rain later
We having a repeat of yesterday. Cold dark and dreary, the good news is NO white stuff on the ground this morning. It is a bit chilly at 30* though :(
Same here. More rain overnight but it is just dark and dreary overcast skies now with a cold 38 degrees and a light NW wind. Maybe a touch of sun later here and there. Tomorrow things should start to improve somewhat, good for the runners in the marathon and the gardeners.
40s & drizzle
46*F and sunny supposed to go to 60. Hope to get back out today. Ric
40's & drizzle here
48°, wind NW 9mph, partly cloudy
Rain and high 70s now. Hank took the girls for a walk in the rain. I'm cooking for the neighborhood picnic tonight. Fingers crossed the rain will stop in time! Wow....30s and 40s for you guys. Where did Spring go? I'm guessing Mother Nature didn't want me to miss ALL of the Spring loveliness up there! LOL
Dreary & drizzle.
Alternating between a little sun and dark clouds and short showers. Temp is 49 degrees right now but a light to calm wind keeps it from feeling too cold.
50 and sun trying to shine. Used my new hori hori knife in the garden today. I like sawing and digging the grass out better than just trying to pull it.
Bummer! Rain and thunderstorms will continue until 9ish tonight so our neighborhood picnic was rescheduled to a date after we leave. Guess Hank will have LOTS of baked ziti to eat before we leave! LOL
Chilly
Sorry you'll miss the picnic.Louise
Thanks, Jen! It's a disappointment, but it would have been miserable outdoors in the rain. There's always next year! We'll have lots of visits with neighbors in the next couple of days! As I've said a few times, I probably am not cut out to be a snowbird. I have trouble leaving people (and my plants) in both places. But we realize how fortunate we are to have both places, so no complaints!
No complaints here either, Me & the Mrs love all 4 seasons.
50° going down to 40° tonight, cloudy
41 now going to 60
Same here.
A gardener has reported that because of the volcano ,we will have a cool summer.
Fine with me.
37° Doesn't look pleasant. Hope that it changes during the day.
yes!
blue skies and in the fifties today
43*F and sunny, great hopes for today. Ric
46 and clear as a bell. Great day ahead!
Back in Nantucket and it is clear over my house, but I can see some clouds off shore. Lovely morning. Patti
Beautiful morning, blue skies 47
High of 63
Bright and sunny morning here too. Started out a bit chilly but the sun is warm and temp up to 46 already.
52 and sunny. Hope to get into the garden again today.
Very cloudy now. Have to get out after lunch and plant four clems and continue the cleanup.
57°, wind N 9mph, mostly cloudy
Sunny, 61 and breezy
The day has been fine, but I am now fighting something that has sent me to bed. grrrrrrrrrrrr. I did take some pictures and got the chipper guys going on that project and then went to bed. Napped, but now awake and still feeling horrible grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I need to be outside. But I think a day in bed is best. Boojum is coming in a few days and my garden is not visitor ready. Buy maybe she will be blinded by all the bulbs and not notice the weeds. Patti
Patti - bulb blindness! LOL I like it! And knowing Kathy, I think your quite safe. She'll focus on the beauty! Hope you feel better in time for her visit!
WaterCan - I'm with you. I love the 4 seasons, including winter since I didn't grow up with it, but Hank "doesn't do" winter anymore. LOL
Sherrie - did you get any snow accumulation?
